Hospitality at its best. Had a 50th birthday celebration 🎈 there. Tasty food 😋 and very generous portions. Breakfast with crispy, warm croissants, fresh fruit variety of hot breakfasts favorites. Would recommend it as a venue for celebrations 🍾 😀. The cottages clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped.

Toast arrived cold and long before the rest of the breakfast - butter and jam and other condiments didn't arrive at all. Poached egg was in fact a coddled egg and not poached at all. The coffee was decent and forthcoming, and the breakfast was edible, but nothing to write home about or worth returning for.

Internet signal at cottages close to water and far right is so bad it does not even work had to go to town and buy modem and sim card

Cosy and comfortable accommodation that was very well priced. What truly makes this place great is the staff who are kind, courteous, attentive and just go the extra mile. Their breakfast is also top notch with sizeable portions!

We enjoyed a Woman's day high tea in these beautiful gardens. The weather was perfect, the food was scrumptious, and the service was excellent. Prudence went out of her way to make it a memorable afternoon for all the ladies attending. Thank you to Chris and his team.

Everything from the service, to location, the views, the gardens, to the food at The Bell, are fantastic. I highly recommend this property for local travellers, international travellers, couples and families. The only 2 slight cons, are that it's not in Knysna and that the inside of the suites need some attention. A fresh coat of paint and some small handyman jobs. But still amazing!

Thank goodness we are now staying in this stunning hotel at Belvedere Hotel (after the Surval Hotel Oudtshoorn) what a relief. Immaculate pool, stunning views, beautiful little cottage with birds, gardens, glorious little pub with fab food. The cottage is a delight, balconies everywhere, white modern bathroom. What a relief to be away from that disgraceful filthy Surval Boutique Hotel in Oudtshoorn. I could cry I’m so happy to have left. Thank god as we’re now in paradise and can get with our costly holiday and get over the disappointment of last night. What a difference a hotel makes. Drive by Surval Hotel and if you have booked it cancel, do not waste a night of your life there. Come directly here. Bellevue Hotel Knysner.

Enjoy breakfast on the terrace - the open omelette is devine! - just found the service to be a bit slow, but he beautiful setting makes up for it each time.

Spent 2 days at Belvidere and its location is just stunning, overlooking the lagoon, this resort has so much to offer, great food and staff a must visit when in Knysna.

What a glorious time we had. Apart from the beauty that surrounds you 24/7, it is very important to mention the outstanding service, friendliness and helpfulness of the extraordinary staff at Belvedere Manor. Thank you for making us feel special and so very welcome. Breakfast every morning was so delicious and the joyous way in which we were served was simply first class!! We will most certainly come back to this magical place. Thank you Belvidere Manor🤗🤗God bless you all.

Jeff, a member of staff was super duper and should get a pay raise for his amazing jokes and good company😂. The dinner was amazing and kept our whole family happy. I would highly recommend this place especially in the summer.

For the first time in my life I won a weekend away and couldn't have chosen a better place than the Belvidere Manor Hotel it was absolutely an awesome stay with the most friendliest and helpful staff. The cottage was so cozy it felt like home. The views were breathtaking and such a relaxing atmosphere.

Let's face it: it doesn't happen that frequently you are met by a manager who greets you personally and radiates that much happiness. He was everywhere and did everything with the same passion. Seeing him and his team immediately made you as happy. Definitely the highlight of my stay in South-Africa. Nice and clean cottages with tasty food. I just loved this place. Thank you!

Excellent older colonial style of accommodation with individual house's adjacent to the central 'hotel'. Complete privacy and self catering if required or dinning at the on site pub or restaurant. Fabulous place with it's own 'old' style but modern in facilities
