Stayed there for the Knysna Blues festival. The owner Henry is a lovely chap. He kindly took us to the show and offered to pick us up late night. Great breakfast Was a great experience overall

One of my favorite places to stay on our South Africa journey. Henry was very helpful with flexibel check-in times and was giving us lots of cool tips about where to eat and what to do around Knysna. Thank you :)

Was a great stay and very accommodating host. Close to most things but you do need a vehicle to get around.

My Husband and i stayed over for the Peacock festival in Knysna from 18-20-03/2022 - my first complaint is that the Owner Henry just barged into our suite without knocking to come and fiddle the TV, very unprofessional!!!! second complaint is that the so called king size bed matrasses are so worn out, it felt like we slept in a canoe, we had 2 very bad nights sleep. the breakfast prepared by a lady was delicious, at least that was a bonus, if you going to stay there and pay over R950.00 a night, think twice!!! our worst accommodation ever!

Very peaceful place, lovely garden and nice rooms. MR Henry was very friendly and helpful. The only thing is the cleaning was not so great and thats why I rate it 3 stars and no stove or something to cook on it. Otherwise very relaxing place.

Went to this place for a weekend away visiting Knysna. We booked online....got our Karin Zoid tickets....we were ready for this weekend. Whe arrived and at arrival there was already Confucian about what entrance to use......finally we entered the lodge and the next moment a chinese lady starts talking to us and we cant make a word.....we phoned the lodge....got hold of the owner......he greeted us and we followed him to our suite....."honeymoon suite".....very nice, but not worth the money......after we unpacked into the suite and busy getting ready for the afternoon......the owner enters our suite without knocking or anything starts playing with the tv because he wants to see if netflix is working after we told him we do not care about the tv......not apologizing for just entering without permission......he then left.......then later we went to bed......what a nightmare as the beds are worn out......not comfortable at al....feels like you sleeping in a boat....rolling around the whole night tossing and turning......breakfast was good and also the owner owns 2 vehicles and only drive around with one...the other one is on guest parking......this place is NOT worth it........very unhappy

Henry is an excellent host, and the guesthouse has a relaxed and tropical feel with all the greenery and plants. Very close to the heads as well!

Henry and his beautiful wife keep this little gem in great shape. A forested hideaway with a number of interesting rooms, in a relaxed atmosphere. Always enjoy my visit here.

Wonderful hide away spot and also nice and quiet just the place to be not far from fishing spots🎣

What a wonderful place! So glad we got to stay here, we had such a special time at Bamboo Guest House with our two boys - thank you! We were all absolutely enchanted by the stunning gardens, walk-ways and birds - such a lush sensory experience. Very peaceful, comfortable, and inviting space with a lovely energy. Yummy breakfasts and friendly staff. Would highly recommend :)

Absolutely one of our favorite stops on our trip on the garden route!! Highly recommend! Wonderful charm --- wonderful people/service! The food was delicious in the morning, the pool was chilly--but refreshing nonetheless -(we were there in March). Bought a whole bunch of local artist artwork there too---just a wonderful place all around!

I would give 6 stars to this place! Amazing experience! They were able to accommodate us literally last minute. The room was amazing. Very unique. And the bed was sooooo comfy!! The staff were SUPER FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE. And the fact that they catered a specific vegan meal at breakfast for us upon finding out that we are indeed vegan, was superb. You guys are definitely doing customer service right!

Rooms were dusty. The therapists talked to each other non stop for 90 minutes
