    The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful and the overall experience was lovely. We booked out the entire place for a school tour and were treated with the greatest care - would go back on a personal trip for sure.

    I would highly recommend this place! The staff and management are very friendly! The units are clean and very spacious. Fully equipped for self catering, canoes are free. The view is beautiful. This is a nice place to relax and unwind very comfortable. My family enjoyed their stay.

    We've always wanted to stay at salt river lodge.We checked in and the place was amazing.Family friendly and both adults and kids enjoyed.Staff was just as friendly.We going back soon!!

    Appel is the most welcoming and informed host. We were on a business trip and had to find accommodation on the run. We had a clean and tranquil room that made us think we were on holiday for a few hours. We will be back.

    It was perfect, very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay. During the loadshedding the TV and lights still work.

    No reception office at site. Rooms clean and neat. Everything needed were available. Very good summer resort. Not recommended for long term winter holidays. Can be quite cold next to the river.

    good for big family or group, units are big, decenltly equipped for self catering. price is ok for 5/6 people.

    Central location, beautiful view of lagoon, enjoyed the free canoe facilities, fireplace was great in the cold evenings, appreciate the electric blankets and oil heater. Good value for money. I recommend this place and will stay again.
