What a lovely stay! An absolute hidden gem. We had a hike on the premises with trusted doggo! We had a lovely braai on our balcony and could watch the sunset with a stunning view over knysna forest 😍

Just had an enchanting 2-night stay at Woodlands in their adorable tiny house! 🏡 The cozy charm and attention to detail made for a delightful retreat. 🌲 The forest walk on the property was a highlight, offering a serene escape into nature. Bridge crossing, benches to pit stop and truly nature in all its beauty 🌳 The tranquility and thoughtful design make this a perfect getaway spot. Can't wait to return for another dose of relaxation! 🍃

This is undoubtedly one of the best self catering establishments we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was outstanding. The decor top notch with lot’s of plants and flowers inside the room. The view is superb and the location wonderfully quiet. On our last night their was a baby next door. We never heard her/him. The grounds are immaculately kept

Fantastic place. Brand new rooms (or at least feels like new), amazing garden and great hosts. Our only regret was to stay just 1 night.

Wonderful, tranquil accommodation on the Rheenendal Road (part of the Knysna forest). We stayed in the family unit (second time we are visiting). It has everything you need. Close enough to Knysna (shops & activities), but also close enough to the forest and its walking trails. There's also a Sunday market close by. Loads of activities and beautiful scenery in the area or just have a braai at 'home'. You can even go on a hike from the property through the forest. Definitely worth a visit.

What a magical place the Knysna Forest with this cute little Bird House to stay in. Woodlands was great, with a friendly puppy to welcome you and a soft cat who came to say hi too. Their little hike into the valley is also a must.

What an appropriately named spot! The deck views of the forests are absolutely amazing, the garden is stunning, and the attention to detail in our room was spot on. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into just about every aspect of the place. Highly recommended to really get away from everything and spend some time in a natural environment, and breathe some fresh air. Would definitely return!

3 star doesn't even come close to it. This place is amazing. It's a home away from home. The units are so comfy and romantic. I found myself never wanting to leave. Luxurious rooms set in beautiful gardens with a stunning view over indigenous forests to the mountains in the west. Rooms was incredibly welcoming with every detail being well considered and adding to the overall experience. Bed and bedding was very comfortable, with exquisite linen and enough towels. While the rusks & milk etc. was appreciated - the sherry added an unexpected level of welcome and indulgence. It was perfect. Thank you

The rooms overlook a very beautiful forest valley and the rooms are 5 star, there is even a hammock on the patio if you just want to relax after a long day of exploring the garden route. Highly recommend staying at the Woodlands retreat!

Top quality self catering unit on the heel tops of the garden route, near Kysna! You look apon a beautiful forest of trees from your private decked patio while you braai! Awesome!

This is one of the best getaway experiences we have ever had the room (family suit) is stunning and the attention to detail does not go unnoticed. Also side note. The strong WiFi makes working remotely extremely easy.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing. Everything was so detailed and gorgeous… the decor is beautiful. From the night cap, to the elephant on the bed, to the soap in the bathroom… everything is so special. There is a huge play area for kids. On the second day we took the walking trail and Reacher the dog walked with us all the way - my daughter loved it!

Stayed in the family suite it's modern clean and neat has everything you need in a kitchen. The aircon was a blessing the heat was something else. Beautiful view overlooking the forest very tranquil Woodlands is truly a gem.
