Course was in a excellent condition. Greens the best I ever played on

Could be better , ProShop not very welcoming, it would be nice to hear “ Hi welcome to GV , we hired clubs ( so old , a head fell off the driver on way to No1 tee box ) pull cart old rubbish, 9 holes with clubs and pull cart R600 odd a player , good honest folk , one of our players left his wallet in the hired clubs bag and rang the club the next day to collect and yes it was still in the bag .

Very nice estate, well kempt and with amazing facilities. They have a two tennis courts here too. There is also a good restaurant, The Verandah, with amazing views at the Clubhouse. The views from the accommodation units are great. This is a secure estate set on the fringes of Plettenberg Bay. Easily accessible on the N2. The security details are professional and friendly.

Stunning and well maintained course. This is one of the Gary Player designed courses and well worth the visit. The fairways and greens are spectacular. Course has many bunkers which makes it interesting and is a good challenge. Bring your A-game because if you dont hit straight you could end up losing many balls. 😉

Superb golf, accommodation at 10th tee and good food. Friendly staff and greens you want to sleep on.

I'm not a golfer, but enjoy to accompany my husband. Beautiful course, beautiful scenery. Plenty bird life. Fantastic carrot cake at halfway house. The ladies cloakroom is an oasis

What a great golf course. The pro shop is well stocked, the course is in excellent condition, and the halfway house food selection is pretty decent. One gripe from me, being a handicapped member at Metropolitan in Cape Town, I found the green fees pretty expensive! Even so, we will be back.

5 hours and 15 minutes round. You won't see us again at your course. The course itself was in good condition, good greens but all together the course felt cramped like they ran out of space.

I enjoy playing this course. It is in immaculate condition. The greens are consistently quick and a bit tricky to read. The fairways are well manicured. Some tough and challenging holes and some fairly encouraging ones. The course is well balanced. If you can't stay on the Fairway, your ball is lost in the fynbos on most holes. You also get to meet many friendly and interesting people, locals and international visitors. Also ran into the wonderful gentleman, the Black Knight himself - Gary Player - who designed the golf course! I recommend it.

Rolling, undulating fairways, unusual for most local courses, make Goose Valley special. I loved it. And the carrot cake in the halfway house is pretty good too!

Exceptionally beautiful golf course. The greens are amazing!!! The fairways immaculate and the staff so friendly & helpful. The Marshall even drove off to get us some water/drinks mid round!

Very nice resort course. Very well maintained and managed. Only downside...like most area club houses the burgers 🍔 are nasty.

Great course with very nice views and friendly pro shop staff, and they had nice cheap second hand balls as well
