Spectacular beach with endless views over the bay. Fine sand. Great waves! Find your very own pansy shells (tip: As they break easily, you will find them during low tide)! You can overlook the entire bay of beauty and lookout beach from La Vista Lodge like nowhere else.

Beautiful beach ⛱️ worth to come to ! Shame some locals leave lots of used comdoms and packets higher up the beach ⛱️ so watch where u step when u first get on the sand.

Good stretch of beach. Nice to go to during the autumn and winter months when you wish to go out on a sunny day, but don't want to be too close to the ocean with your water-loving toddler. They have lifeguards on the beach if you wish to take a swim and there's a restaurant you can visit also.

Lookout beach is beautiful with two great restaurants to choose from there. One more upmarket and one more relaxed where children can run around. Both have seaviews and decks, inside and out, and both have great food.

This place is pretty great. Situated on the beach on top of the rocks looking out over the beach and crashing waves. Both inside and outside seating, super comfortable with a rustic flare and if your chilli from the ocean breeze they offer a fleece blanket. Food was great, I had the ribs and periperi livers and the cocktails are absolutely amazing. We had Jade for a server and he was very nice and very professional. This is absolutely a must go when you're in Plettenberg bay.

This is really a beautiful place. It was wonderful to soak up the sun, the waves, the scenery, and yes, the wind. 🙂 Sadly, we weren't able to spend a much time as we would have liked to during our crazy drive around the countryside...

Lookout beach is a great alternative to Central or one of the Robberg beaches. The Beach is easily accessible from lookout parking or parking area near milkwood manor and its typically a little quieter in busy times. Walks from parking on the beach are quite long though. Lovely walk up to mouth.
