An interesting Emporium which is definitely worth the visit if one is in Oudtshoorn. There is a small coffee shop with inside and outside seating and there is free onsite parking. Highly recommend.

This place has potential and is a beautiful venue however the behaviour of the staff (in our experience) let the place down. We arrived at 16h45 and were told by every staff member that it was just about closing time. I get it, you want to go home, but the desperation to leave was palpable...we were greeted at the coffee shop, not with hello, but being told that we WOULD be getting a takeaway because it was closing time. Then the people in the shop told us that they had already cashed up when we wanted to buy something. When 5pm eventually rolled around the staff turned off the lights, closed up and left the building with more efficiency than surgeons at the Oudtshoorn MediClinic. Not exactly a welcoming experience so the next time I hear that tourism business has been severely impacted by covid I am going to take it with a pinch of salt...not that I could get a pinch of salt for the pie I had bought from the Ostrich Emporium as I stood on its darkened stoep and watched the staff leave in a cloud of dust.

Our first visit to the coffee shop. Wasn't busy and we weren't attended when we entered. Had to asked for a menu. Also no stock of Coke zero. But their salad was fresh, flavourably and different. Interesting menu and really look forward to our next visit. Also got fantastic ostrich pet treats for our fur babies.

Good coffee, great ostrich leather products. I always stop here when in the area. If ostrich leather cowboy boots are your thing you absolutely have to stop here.

Really nice quality for the price (I'm European). The team is really lovely so is the boutique. The only downside is that they won't be able to handle some custom made design for you.. 🤷

Good quality products at reasonable prices. Many products are made in the atelier at the back, which makes it very attractive. Also a good coffee shop. A great place to find presents, ostrich meat and if you want to treat yourself.

It's always a nice experience to visit them with very good wines and food.

Quite a nice place to visit, spacious and the shop selling affordable Karoo and Ostrich items and meat and wine to residents of Oudtshoorn and tourism sector, the food and coffee from the spacious coffee shop was delicious, but the service average, getting our order wrong, Toilets clean, worthwhile though a visit

Restaurant is great and they set up beautifully for a function. Shop section I found to be a little expensive with the Ostrich products.

As can be expected one would be treated with some beautiful craft and ostrich leather products. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff are equally impressive. 👌

Simply wonderful variety of Ostrich products from handbags to boots, a huge variety of Ostrich meat products, decor items and pet delicacies. My English Bulldog was welcomed with open arms. They have a wonderful cafe on site and secure parking.

Coffee and quiche hit the spot perfect! Delicious! Combined with live music and shopping.. Lovely

Great place! Very modern. I liked the market that they had outside. Their ostrich handbags are beautiful! Bought one and got 50% off for black Friday. Super happy with that.

A little pricey, but the ostrich merchandise is of good quality. One would just expect a slightly better price to be getting it at the factory, but only 10-15% less. Still very well priced for the quality.

I like this place but I'm disappointed with the variety of the menu. After you removed that nice chicken salad, there is nothing I like so I now go somewhere else.
