It was a really nice hotel, good staff. Hotel ground is well maintained with a beautiful garden. I called to book the rooms in such an emergency. An operator was quickly checked on the available’s rooms and I finally was able to book two rooms for me and my parents for the night. The rooms came with welcome fruits and well decorated. I was really impressed on the hotel’ staff hospitality. Its location is great. It is closed to shops and restaurants. The beach was nice. There was a lot of water activities to do (with your own cost). I will definitely recommend this hotel to others who plan to come to Samui.

Beautiful hotel, lovely setting with great staff! Stayed 5 nights, few issues with room got sorted by management. Breakfast is great ask them to make you anything extra like green curry or spring rolls and they will do it. Outside the hotel are 2 supermarkets 7-11 and familymart for drinks and snacks. Central mall and town is a 15 minute walk for restaurants and souvenir shops.

We stayed here in early April 2019. Before arriving were a bit worried the hotel would be rundown because of their upcoming major renovations, scheduled to start in May we heard. However our whole stay was fantastic with the staff and service outstanding. Club lounge, pool area and Coast restaurant all amazing, with the hotel's location great too. Sure the property is older, but once they finish the renovations can't wait to see the outcome! Thank you and well done to all the Centara Grand team.

I like this place. We have stayed here and even put our parents here when they visit. The rooms are nice, they have everything you need. The grounds are great, lots of pool areas, Coast restaurant has something for everyone and the seating beach side is excellent. This is great for a 'family focused' vacation and always lots to do for the kids too.

Location is excellent. Beach the best. Staff are very helpful. They can't do enough to please you. Hotel needs updating. Hence the 5 star is not true. Air conditioning units are old and so not cool sufficiently. New wings are a copy of the old wing and seems outdated. Signs of wear n tear all around. Sad fact the staff have to bear the brunt of customer complaints through no fault of their own.

We came here for a 6 course Christmas meal on Christmas day rather than the Christmas Eve banquet. We found that the staff were very friendly and informative when helping us choose which option we would like. The waiting staff were quick with their service, maybe a little too fast for a 6 course meal. But they slowed their pace for us when we asked. We really enjoyed our time here and the food was delightful.

Where do I start? Mouldy and dirty toilet and outdated room for £220 per night. The staff hardly speak English and the great Thai customer service is simply lacking. Upon our checking in, the staff tried to sell us a more expensive room. The outside and beach is nice and so is the breakfast but certainly not worth £220 per night. The rooms are small, smelly. We got moved to another room but they asked us to wait whilst they grouted the other room. Then they placed an air freshener in our bathroom to deal with the smell. Nothing special overall and certainly not worth its 5* rating. You can get better somewhere else. The photos are before and afters &speak for themselves.

Beautiful, serene, lush green gardens and above all very nice and hospitable people. With kids this place is apt to stay as they have some cool kids areas. Just on the beach, which is quite clean and have many options of water sports right on the spot. Loved it. Definitely go for it again.

Beautiful hotel and great staff very welcoming. Well informed on how to use the faculties in the rooms. Check in made easy by staff, with a welcome drink. Rooms are exceptionally well designed, with great bathroom facilities and shower. The bed is huge and all the mini bar including sports and soft drinks all included. What they could do with is more storage space for those guests who reside for more than 10 days as not enough place to put clothes out. The breakfast in this hotel is one the best I have had as I have had many experiences of travelling with breakfast included, so much variety and so freshly made all ingredients at the highest standard. The cakes are just amazing the baker in this hotel is a 20/10 baker all flavours and sponges are exceptionally executed with all the balance that is need for that cake. The staff in this hotel are efficient and friendly. Tony the Porter great guy and always willing to help out. If in Koh Samui and you want luxury this is the place for you most definitely be coming back here for a few nights. Thank you Centara. Still here for another 7 days 😊

This is one of the best hotel. The room is High quality and full facilities. Staff give me a nice service and kind support. Food was delicious and satisfying. I can see the beach from my room that great view. I have the best experience for this vacation. My family love this place. Will definitely return soon.👍

Absolutely perfect resort. The staff and management go out of their way to make your stay perfect. The amenities are beautifully maintained and the standard is extremely high. Wonderful resort.
