Haad Rin Queen Ferry

Ferry service

πŸ‘ currently the only ferry from Koh Samui where you can also take a motorbike to Koh Phangan, I recommend buying a ticket a day in advance, the price of a motorbike ticket is 500 baht, the price of a ticket per person is 200 baht. People often mention boat, ticket, ferry, Samui,

Good location and nice service. To Phangan 200 thb for normal boat (45mins) and 500 thb for a speed boat (15-20mins)

Boat leave at 10:30 am, and come back from phangan at 16:00. Return ticket cost the same as one way. Very very old boat, it's the same one for over 30 years.. not sure how safe is it. Limited seating so many people have to sit on the floor. At Samui pier not much chairs or shade while waiting..

Small pier here, you can just come and buy the tickets to Haad Rin, Koh Pha Ngan by slow ferry in the morning. And speed boat at noon time.

Took the fast boat across to Ko Pha Ngan 500thb 25 min crossing a little bit more expensive then the ferry but way more fun , staff so helpful loaded and unloaded everyone’s luggage will be travelling back the same way.

Efficient, reliable. 2 boats to shuttle full moon party goers. 200B from Samui to Phangan if paid in person (about $5.50) or $8 if bought through 12goAsia app. If you by through the app make sure to go into the office before you stand in line for the ferry because you will have to exchange your barcode ticket to a physical paper ticket. I learned the hard way after standing in line and having to go all the way back to the office and queue up all over again.

Took the boat to phangan, it was the full moon party time, weather was also a bit windy and rainy. the boat was full. even no place to stand. no cover from rain. no proper way of securing the luggage, the boat was old and the journey was a bit scarier, as the boat was not smooth on the high waves, and there was no life jackets on the boat. Took around an hour to reach phangan from Samui. next time ill go for speedboat.

There are 3 daily trips: 09:30-10:20 16:00-16:50 On a regular ferry, a ticket costs 200 baht. and one trip at 12:30 for 20 minutes by speed boat, cost 500 baht. It was an experience in both options, depending on the state of the sea and the time to reach Kosmui

Great option to jump from airplane to Koh Pha Ngan Haad Rin instead of going to the Nathon pier which is across Koh Samui. 350 thb at airport tickets booth (green shirts) but only 2 trips a day in low season. Check timetable. Taxis and songthaws from haad rin to quieter spots on Koh Pha Ngan. 200 to 1000 thb.

Every trip so far was on time, coll staff and easy to book online. If you stay on the Haad Rin side of the island it is the best way to come over from Samui. πŸ‘πŸ»

Had a great experience returning from Full Moon Party. The seas were rough and the ferry operator did a good job navigating through it. The crew were very helpful to ensure all passengers got their luggage on board.

Super nice pier, easy access and clean! Best pier experience I’ve had so far in Thailand.
