A wonderful place; delicious, varied cocktails at very reasonable prices right on the beach. The people are lovely and Cool Bar has a very chilled and friendly atmosphere. Accessed either from the road along a lit path or along the beach; if you're in the area this is well worth a visit (although it will end up being several!).

When you think of an idyllic setting for a little beach shack bar this is it... It's movie perfect! Absolutely stunning little bay with a beautiful sandy beach. Family run by a lovely local family, with a real chilled, friendly atmosphere. Amazing cocktails and so cheap! We went back 4 or 5 times and twice in one day it was so lovely. Food was great too.

Beautiful spot. Good drinks. Good food. Friendly staff. Gorgeous breeze! Loved chilling out at this little spot. It’s super casual. Hammocks. Chairs and tables in the sand. Pad Thai looks anaemic but is actually very yummy. They also do mocktails (the mocktail pina colada was very refreshing). Music is a good volume also (not too loud). There is no wifi which means you actually get to relax. Cute squirrels to look at in the trees too!

This hidden cove of a bar / restaurant has the best food on the entire island. Go out of your way to have it and order a blue drink(that is their name) you will have a blast. That being said it is run by a single family and has a very laid back atmosphere so don't expect to be waited on hand and foot if you need something don't be afraid to ask kindly. My favorite hidden treasure of the island.

We've been going out to Samui for years now and always end up at Cool Bar. Lovely place away from the noise of Lamai and Chaweng. Hired their boat one year and went over to the islands. Find The Barracuda Restaurant and there's a side path just by the bend which leads down to the bar. Or up the beach from Centara. Enjoy :)

A great little beach bar which is a throwback to the old days on a Thai Island. Simple bamboo bar mixing cold drinks, some basic yet tasty food, and some music. Laze about in a hammock or sit in the shade under the trees & let your worries wash away with the breeze.

Everything you want from a laid back beach bar. Close to the water, clear water, white sand, clean beach and a great menu (both food and drinks). Staff are friendly and not over the top. Music is chilled and not too intense. Customers are everyone from families, couples, retirees and a few dogs as well. Ample parking for bikes and cars alike. Seating is mixture of tables/chairs, hammocks and picnic blankets on the beach. So happy to have stumbled on this bar.

A perfect place to chill. I like the atmosphere with chill vibe, very nice beach and quiet. Also, the perfect spot to watch sunset. Highly recommend!

Our favourite beach bar on all of Koh Samui! This is a real gem and a hidden treasure. The owners are so very friendly and serve up the best authentic Thai food. My favourite is Green curry with chicken and steamed rice. But it’s all delicious. So relaxing and just a chill place to hang out.

Very relaxing. Something people should know when ordering food, their menu section that says "fried", is "not" fried, they mean stir fried, which is better! They should change their menu description because I believe more people would order stir fried if they knew it was not fried. My wife and I had curry with prawns, stir fried prawns with garlic and peppercorns, and chicken pad Thai, and all three dishes were freaking awesome. However, I ordered a virgin pina colada that was less than spectacular. They do have fresh coconut water, and their bottled water is filtered! I could do without the music though, when I come to the beach I like to listen to the sound of the waves; maybe they should start playing the music later in the afternoon towards evening. The people are very nice, and the service is top notch. Awesome place, we're in the area for a couple of days and we will be coming back before we leave and ordering more of their delicious food.

Beach bar with fantastic ambience, nice drinks and full menu. Allow a while for the food, the kitchen is small, but the food is good. The bay is more calm than most, with good wave break even in wind. Large trees provide full shade and hammocks

A bar on a beach in Koh Samui, nothing unusual in that you might think but this one is special. Located on the beach to the left of the Centara Villas Samui Hotel, 111 Moo 2, Maret, Natien Beach, Samui 84310. It is in an idyllic location, sheltered by very large trees, with seating for about twenty-five people, or of course, you can lay on the beach. It serves reasonably priced beer, wine and cocktails, and has an excellent repertoire of food to suit everyone's taste. We were two couples, and we drank a selection of drinks until the sun went dow - please note that you cannot view the sunset here but the sky takes on some magnificent hues at dusk - and then we each ordered completely different dishes. The food arrived promptly and was excellent. The cost of the whole evening was not at all expensive. It is, in my opinion, a great place to bring children as the sea is not deep there, and there are plenty of rocks, beach, and trees behind the beach to explore. The staff, I believe a family, are very welcoming and extremely friendly to all. It is a popular place especially with guests from the nearby hotel who enjoy much more reasonably priced food and drinks on the beach. Highly recommended.

An amazing place of tropical paradise. Found it totally by accident while out on a moped we hired. Has a snack and a drink but would love to go back if we come to Koh Samui again. Good reggae playing in the background. No wifi too so you can seriously relax.
