Stayed at this resort from 20/07/2022 to 25/07/2022. The location is great, the beach is very nice. The 2 guys in the service were also super friendly! We had a great time but unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience. Several high-quality banknotes have disappeared from 1 of our suitcases with valuables, the lock has been removed. We are very sure that money has been removed from 1 wallet, but more may have disappeared. Camera images show that only the 2 cleaning ladies have been in our room. The police were called and a report was filed. Unfortunately, the resort owner showed little empathy and offered no solution for our loss. Count your money well, you do not always notice that you are being robbed. Only a few notes are taken away. So pay attention, do not leave valuables in your room!

We stopped in at Silver Beach for some afternoon drinks. It was a bit windy, but we really enjoyed the ocean views, fresh coconut, some beers and snacks. Kid-friendly, and if it wasn’t so choppy I’m sure we would have done more swimming too. Great spot to stop by if you are staying at Samui.

Rooms are nice, well kept & close to the beach. Good food at the restaurant. Nice pool. The place is pretty busy throughout the day however nice and quiet in the evening! The staff are very friendly & there's even a spot for massage on the beach.

Silver Beach: where the sand meets the sea, and relaxation meets adventure, all under the watchful eye of rocks that seem to have a knack for finding your feet. It’s a beach with personality, charm, and perhaps a touch of playful mischief. The staff? Friendly as a sunny day, and just as warm. And the massage place? It’s where weary limbs find solace, and tranquility gives you a knowing wink. For the adventurous, snorkeling and canoeing beckon, while rock climbing adds a literal twist to the beach’s rocky relationship with visitors. Speaking of rocks, do mind your step; the beach enjoys playing a game of ‘find the toe’ with unwary wanderers. Hungry? The restaurant serves up good food at prices that won’t have your wallet gasping for air. A word of caution though: the food sometimes likes to take its sweet time, perhaps soaking in the beach vibe before joining you at the table. Family travelers, solo wanderers, and hostel enthusiasts will find a home here at Silver Beach. It’s a place that’s not in a rush, much like the occasional meal, and invites you to savor everything it offers. All in all, Silver Beach is a delightful blend of laid-back vibes and spirited fun, with a sprinkle of rocky surprises. A visit here isn’t just recommended; it’s a prescription for joy. Just ask the rocks; they’ll agree!

Very nice people, beautiful beach that they take care of. At the time of this review(Jan/2022) there are like 4 or 5 resorts on the beach, 3 are operating, but only this one is cleaning their part, picking up the trash that tide brings, every single morning. Also environment is very clean, tidy.. much better looking than others around. Infinity pool is nicest and they also have cool bar. Ideal "resort" setup. Totally recommend. Fair prices too. Don't book thru agoda - come directly

The beach would be nice if it wasn’t crowded, rocky and full of garbage. There were literally vacationers picking up litter all over the beach. It’s a shame the government, hotels and locals let this happen to what otherwise would be a nice spot.

I don't know where to start. The day I arrived in Ko Samui, I was taken to the hospital. The holiday started a little badly for me because I was in the hospital. However, Silver Beach Resort made me forget this bad experience. This is a great place. Both the management and the staff are so helpful and friendly that I would like to thank them very much. The hotel's rooms are very nice and very clean. The hotel is generally clean. The pool is cleaned every day. The food is very fresh and delicious. A quiet and peaceful place. We extended our holiday and decided to continue staying at this hotel. Also, the beach is very beautiful and clean. Thank you for everything.

The good reviews here are mainly for the restaurant/beach and pool!! Don’t be mislead. This is the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in thailand so far! We booked a „Bungalow with Air Con“ for 21€/Night (750b) and felt totally scammed and were not expecting luxury. But the room was horrendous, they were water stains on the ceiling everywhere, there were no lights except for a bright white ceiling light, a rusty old fridge and almost no light coming in the room… the bathroom was the worst part, it looked like from a prison cell. The daughter of the family was nice and tried her best but you could tell that the parents really only cared about your money. We were treated very poorly, when we asked for a light bulb in the evening (because it was missing on the wall lamp) the reply was „tomorrow“… they only care about you if you upgrade to one of their overpriced „deluxe“ rooms. The one star is truly only for the location. The beach is perfect! But there are other nice hotels there.

A little gem of a hotel! This is a low key relaxed and quite small hotel, the bungalow rooms are spacious and clean, decent air con and large beds. The location is perfect, right on Silver Beach, you are seconds away from stepping onto the sand, or taking a dip in the infinity pool. The pool, although right on the beach is reserved for hotel guests only, and the staff do a great job of making sure nobody else uses it. Comfy sunloungers make it perfect for spending laid back days by the beach. It makes a great quiet alternative to Chaweng, and for the price you really cannot criticise the place at all. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is decent and the food from the restaurant is pretty solid too.

Stayed 4 nights in A2, then decided to stay on for another 14 nights, tho was transferred upstairs to A6. The rooms where great, ordered meals to the room, or pool side. The pool was private, so no beach visitors could access and the staff did an awesome job in politely advising people who wondered in. The cleaners kept the rooms cleaned and serviced daily, spotless cleans! The staff were consistently pleasant, friendly, helpful and just 5 star customer service. We had breakfast included in the room price, and tried nearly every dish and cocktail on their menu. I can not fault a single dish. They had scooter bikes to hire on site which is very helpful. The location, you can't beat it. My favorite place in the world.

I’ve travelled around Thailand for around 4 months and I’ve never been met with such terrible service. The “manager” is the most ignorant and rude Thai person I’ve ever met. I’ve been there two times to enjoy the beach and both times I was met with judgement for buying small amounts of food and drinks. I’ve used the bathroom once (and paid) but still NO manners at all! I’m actually in shook they seriously need to have a staff meeting or something lol. Good luck guys. Cheers

Really bad bungalows and you are left with a feeling of being scammed after staying here. Pictures do not match reality. The beach is good and overall the resort looks nice, but it creates such a contrast to the hotel area. Old, moldy, dirty and not taken care of. Check out other places in Samui if you are looking for a good rest.

Wouldn’t say it’s a 3 star resort. No duvets on the bed, just a blanket in between 2 sheets. Not comfortable! Room not in good condition, exposed cables and dirty walls. View and pool area is amazing!

Beautiful/Instagramable and calm beach with clean water and Lot's of big rocks. It's recommended to visit early morning before 9 am because the beach tend to be very busy during the afternoon.

We had such a lovely time here. The location is perfect! We rented a scooter here, and it was close to wherever we wanted to go. The staff are very friendly and the lady in charge is so helpful and sweet. We will definitely come back here next time.

it’s not the worst, but there isn’t really a reason to recommend this hotel over any other. the beach is nice, but you can visit it without staying here. there aren’t enough staff, and the wifi is pretty bad

Review of restaurant only The host woman is very unwelcome - after two hours of ordering drinks and food she literally kicked us out even before my kid finished her dish. She said we cannot stay for so long without ordering more and brought us the bill. I told her exactly what I think of this behaviour After visiting other restaurants nearby, i highly recommend avoiding this place and go to one of the other places on the same beach - much nicer and dont kick you out

Everything is good whit this place Except from the service from the the owner's. We go today 3 people for big breakfast. After we eat the want us to leave because more people will come soon. !? We explain that we just finished the breakfast and we are waiting for 4 more friends to come and eat as well. But no can not pay and go was the anser. Owner say I need more money for to survive. But why say no to us 7 people totally for food and beverage. We left and spend the money next door restaurant. We will not come back

It's a beautiful beach, with many local restaurants and cottage setting up along the crystal bay. The water is clean and very nice for sunbathing.

Great beach; white sand, clean water and nice views but the resort's cocktails taste of nothing. Avoid.

The best beach in Koh Samui, we stayed in one of the modern rooms next to the beach. Nice small pool overlooking the beach, bar serves good quality food and cocktails, infact the best Pad Thai we have ever tasted. Good location between Lamai and Chaweng. Well worth a few days stay. Take a snorkel and mask and see the marine life around the rocks.

Very nice spot for chill. One of the best beaches in Samui, clear water with fish. Food, drinks, background music, live DJ sometimes. Cool pool on the beach. Friendly owners and staff. Samui expats love this place. Always good vibes.

Beautiful beach and an amazing place to stay, especially if you book a hotel on the beach. There are also lots of cafe's and restaurants across this beach so you have many choices of where to eat. There are also places on this beach where you can get a massage too if thats what you want. At night they have various entertainment such as fire shows etc. All around a good place to stay if you're looking for a beach with clear water and white sand with beautiful views.

It would have been such a nice beach, if they would clean it up. It’s full of trash these days 😢 We were actually thinking about it, but as it belongs to the resort, I suggest they pay more attention to the cleaning.

Might have been a nice beach some day but right now (6.12.21) looks quite different to the pictures that people posted. There is garbage everywhere, no one is getting in charge of cleaning the place and the sea took a lot of the sand in the beach. Quite a shame.

Nice beach but to many people killed it for me. Not sure where everyone comes from but this is not a resort beach, most of koh Samui must of been here. Zero parking! No where to park my scooter and I’m staying here. I hear the owner is not friendly but this maybe due to all the street traffic that just plows through and parks everywhere. Must be spoiled as there is a ton of better places to be. Beach front rooms are adequate. Food is decent. Just way to busy and noisy for me.

I stayed at Crystal Bay next door, but decided to check out the bar here as it was right on the beach. First time we went we simply didn't get served, even when I went up to order at the bar. The second time, my girlfriend went on her own and got an iced tea - rather than serving Thai milk tea like everywhere else in Thailand they literally just served black tea with some ice in it. Then rather than just letting her pay at the end they kept coming over to open the cheque. Just a weird, unfriendly place catering towards ignorant western tourists.

I absolutely love staying here! It's the perfect getaway, even though I live in Krabi myself. This place provides a genuine holiday experience, and the host is incredibly welcoming. Thank you so much for the generous hospitality—I'll definitely be back again to relish the delightful experience!

I ordered food and drink at the hotel restaurant on the beach the name is Silver beach resort and all staff here lovely and friendly. I came here mostly every week and today too. I sit and chill at the restaurant alone but the women who is the owner (staff told me) she said to me so bad and a bit rude and made me feeling so bad. That I sit alone on the sofa. But I took my shirt out because I wear the bikini. But I put my shirt with another side, because I just came back from the toilet. And her told me why I put my shirt on the sofa. or I don’t want to let another person sit with. And I told her . I’m just came back from toilet and the restaurant still have many space to sit or even someone want to sit with me. I have no problem. What doesn’t mean for her. Or just don’t want Thai people stay here? Honestly I’m so upset and feel so bad!

By far, the worst customer service I have experienced for a very long time, especially from the guy with the big round glasses and the small thai girl). On arrival, there's no welcome, or hello, not even a smile. The staff can often be found at the bar area either talking amongst themselves or playing on their phones. As other reviews have mentioned, it takes a long time to be attended to, often only when you wave to get their attention, just to receive a menu. I suggest you either train your staff in providing at least some level of customer service or you will continue to receive negative reviews about the restaurant.

One of the best beaches in Samui. We came for a drink, but decided to stay at the hotel pool for a 200thb fee and we were alone. Nice infinity pool. Lunch was very good. Friendly staff.

We stayed at the resort for 2 nights. The pool at the beach is really nice, the bar and food is also good! The rooms are a bit dated and could use a upgrade. the duvet was a fleece blanket, I think for a so to say resort you expect better. A hairdryer in the room would be appreciated!

Steer clear of the silver Beach resort massages. Multiple islands, dozens of massages and this was the first terrible experience for everyone in our party,. Yikes. We did find a great place next door at the far end (not the yacht club) in the White House up the steps. So much better. The bar staff is nice at sb resort though, if you can ignore the club music that's always playing.

Good drink specials during happy hour, massage available, relaxed vibe. You don't have to be a guest to go to the beach, restaurant or spa. My friend got a foot massage and said the head massage upgrade really is worth it.

Beautiful beach, full of private resorts so don’t try to enter through silver beach resort because it’s closed but look a bit further down and Theres a big orange sign saying ‘BEACH’ Drive or walk down that road and you’ll reach Crystal bay/Silver beach Enter the water on the far left of the beach to avoid all the rocks or wear water shoes It’s very Pretty, tried to snorkel and saw some corals and a ray but not much else

This beach is definitely my favorite one. It is such a pleasure to be here. Everytime I enter this beach I feel like I leave all my problems behind. The landscape is just incredible! There's also different places you can get massage, food or drinks and I heard they also do parties on the beach from time to time ❤️ I really recommend this place !

The restaurant is awful. Poor service and it took 50 minutes for them to make me a sandwich. My friend had a hair in their burger too and the meat was an odd colour. Would not recommend at all. Beach is really nice.

I recently stayed at the Silver Beach Hotel for two weeks. Tip: I recommend booking directly (via booking/agoda is more expensive). First I slept in an economy room. There was a bad smell of damp. The bed was uncomfortable. Later I upgraded to a superior room and it was great! The sea view was brilliant. The bed was large and comfortable. The whole room was very clean. Even the towels smelled better. They provide two bottles of water. There were no lizards or other insects in it :) The service speaks some English. A big plus of the hotel is a bar with good drinks and food and a great swimming pool overlooking the sea and clear water. The Internet is everywhere (I was working remotely - the calls weren't perfect). There is a restaurant with very cheap Thai food 2 minutes from the hotel. 30 mins walk to Lamai. In the hotel you can rent a scooter at a good price. I highly recommend. I'll be back there in a month :)

I didn't stay here, was recommended to hang out here by a grab driver when the original Thai restaurant that I'd wanted to go was not open. This has a great chill vibe. Fabulous place to people watch and food is not bad. I had basil chicken with rice, shrimp omelette and seafood pad Thai. Service is really friendly and warm

We didn't stay at the resort we visited the beach. What a magical spot. Lots of ex-pat locals there. We met a lovely German couple living in Samui there. Wear water shoes it has a seabed of rocks & seashells. Great for a snorkel, lots of sealife under the calm turquoise water.

We had a very pleasant stay at silver beach. In high season it might be too busy for families. Perfect view, good food.

Super crowded, the resort bar staff told us to leave the table after they set us down saying that that place is for rent, regardless of what they have told us earlier. Other than the bar, the atmosphere is not as good compare to Lamai beach, also very crowded.

We had a great time here at Silver beach, the staff were more than willing to help when our TV didn't work, they were happy to help sort out a day trip and transport to another island. We saw the same welcoming faces everyday. We were shocked when they said the bar closes at 7pm but that meant we then had the beach mostly to ourselves in the evening, where on New years eve me and my boyfriend were very lucky to see the amazing blue plankton riding the waves, as well as large bats and all the fireworks at midnight. It would be great if the location was near more places to eat/drink for after 7pm but Would highly recommend.
