Don’t use this waypoint to navigate to this waterfall, use Wat Namtok Hin Lat as your google maps reference. That will take you to the start of the waterfall hike, along a paved road and it’s very obvious, leads to a cafe and car park area.. If you navigate to this waypoint it will take you the wrong way up the mountain, and lead to very difficult roads and steep tracks to get to the top of the waterfall, trust me we wasted 30min before turning back after speaking with some farmers. The hike is about 30-40min to the waterfall up a track that runs to the right side of the river, it is not obvious in some areas where the track runs but follow some orange flags tied to trees and you will reach it.

Beautiful and challenging hike through the jungle. Stay at the Main path, you have several options to stop and swim. Time to get up is 30min if you are a mountain runners but more realistic 40 to 60 minutes for Normal people or with kids. Still worth the Tour!

Gorgeous waterfalls, a slight hike up so wear appropriate shoes and bring water! The path for us was pretty easy for us to follow. DO NOT LISTEN TO GOOGLE MAPS WHEN TRYING TO FIND THE FALLS! The pools of water are amazing we had a lovely swim.

Way to the waterfall is on the right stairs to the too and then about 30 minutes through jungle. You can also walk on the rocks and boulders but it will take you even longer. Be careful about snakes, we found one falling from a tree like 1 meter away. At the end it's one the best waterfalls on Samui especially since it's deeper in the jungle than the other big ones. Good shoes are recommended but not absolutely necessary.

Another nice waterfall to visit. However, the main Hin Lat Waterfall is not very accessible, as you need to trek for around 25-40 mins one way. So, get your footwears ready. Of course, the scenery is rewarding. Nice place to chill and swim around after the long trek in. There is a main trekking route on the right side, along the waterfall, which is slightly technical and slippery. So be ready to get on your hands. However, many people got the wrong idea and went the more challenging path, directly climbing the rocks by the river, which is not the "intended" route, as it is more dangerous. So, remember to follow the main path, in the jungle hugging the river. When you arrive, the route link directly to the waterfall. When in doubt, check your map as it is fairly accurate and there are signals in the jungle. It is wiser to go with other people for safety reasons.

Loved this hike and the view of the fall. There was water at this fall, unlike the other falls we went to in July. If you are trying to get to the fall by following a gps, you should put Red Stone Coffee as a destination. It will take you right outside to where you need to hike to get to the falls. Make sure you wear tennis shoes and not sandles for the hike!

A small waterfall, can take bath in it, but lot of mosquitoes in this area. The waterfall is clean, the ride till here is peaceful and it is easy to locate. Best part when we went there was no one here so it was very peaceful, calm and quiet.

The first of the two waterfalls to visit. It’s the easier climb. Very nice and clean, and pleasant to visit. Safe parking at the bottom, with a ver vendors selling drinks and snacks and clean toilets above them.

Very nice place. Easy to access by scooter and approx.5min. of walk. Refreshment shop available at the top parking place. Take proper shoes and bottle of watter to drink. Plenty of watter to cool down in the stream at the moment.

The drive to this waterfall is very scenic. It takes approximately 30 mins from Lamai and about 45 from Chaweng. The access isn’t easy for new drivers so be careful. The waterfall has a small but steep climb down so be prepared for that with the right footwear

As mentioned at Wat Namtok Hin Lat: You can reach the waterfall through Wat Namtok Hin Lat From there it is a 1 mile hike to the falls The hike is fun, sometimes challenging and steep through the jungle So wear good shoes and bring water and enjoy the falls

Very nice to relax at the waterfall. Be sure to bring good shoes! If you come to the village, the path starts on the right side. Don't go over the bridge to the temple, if you don't want to climb up on the riverbed. We did this, until we got to a dam and found the path. While it was very fun, it is also dangerous.

amazing waterfall with different sections to chill at. park at the temple, the hike starts at the very right hand side. it took me 25 minutes and wasn’t hard at all. i had the falls to myself and as i was leaving quite a few people were coming. it’s pretty clean and flowing nicely, heaps of water to swim in during dry season! and it’s free! i bought a coconut coming back from the nice man who lives at the front. he loves company!

Beautiful swimming spots. Take the right hand side at the sign. Wear comfortable walking shoes. On the day we went there was only a few other people walking but no one swimming so we had the place to ourselves for a couple of hours.

Very nice! Only 4* because Waterfall is not that special, but nice 45 min hike to get there. Take good shoes. We were complety alone, could take a bath, it's worth it when you are willing to make I hike.

It's a quite easy hike around 30-45 minutes to the end. On the way there are several spots where you can cool yourself off in the water. But I recommend you to save it for the end, there's a beautiful "pool" at the end of the waterfall where you can dive in. The hike is so much worth it and you can chill and cool down at the end!

The hike to get there is a bit adventurous, it takes 40 minutes (maybe a bit more if you get lost - take good shoes, and FOLLOW THE ORANGE RIBBONS) ahah. But in the jungle it is really fun and worth it ! And then, when you get there, you are just grateful. The place is calm, peaceful and beautiful ! This is a place to absolutely go ! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Went in mid-May and was still plenty of water. About 30 minutes hike that is doable in sandals, but I recommend that they have a thuck sole. Also bring enough water! You will be pretty much on your own the whole hike and the destination is very rewarding. At the waterfall, when following the main path, you will get to the mid "level". I recommend climbing through the stones a bit to get to the higher "level". On the way back, there is also a small path to the right which lead to the lower "level". Here is also a nice opportunity to go for a swim.

One of the very few water falls located in the central forest mountains of Koh samui. To reach the falls one has to walk through the thick forest surrounded by the beautiful trees and plants. It takes approximately one hour walk to reach the falls from the parking.

It’s was a great and relatively easy hike with a rewarding waterfall at the end. Definitely worth the walk, even now during the dry season. 30 minutes to the waterfall and same back, so it’s a 1 hour hike (3km overall), suitable for a pregnant woman (4 months) and a couple with a 1 year old baby (in a sling bag). It’s not suitable for toddlers. Take appropriate shoes and swimsuits since you can swim in the waterfall- the lazing after the sweaty hike through the jungle. And don’t forget a mosquito spray. It’s really pleasant, you’re protected from the sun by the dense forest.

Beautiful waterfall! First times I came to Koh Samui I didn't really notice this place until the last time. I tried it out and I don't regret it. It's a really beautiful place and definitely worth a visit.

Ok so when we went here it was an unexpected visit, at the start we were both wearing 2 pairs of serviceable flip flops, which were very inadequate for this hike. It is probably a 2km hike from where you park and not in a straight line flat path. Climbing over rocks and tree roots. At the 1km mark there is a little hut that sells water and beer sodas etc 50 Baht for a can of Chang beer and 20 Baht for a bottle of water, so cheap. You will need it on the way back. My partners flip flops didn't make the hike which made it worse πŸ˜…. Having said all this when you get there the hike was well worth it, you see a few people on the way up and back but when we got there, there was only one other couple that were just leaving, so had a lovely peaceful swim in the refreshingly cool waters of the waterfall pool. We heard whooping monkeys in the canopy above but didn't see them, unfortunate We did get a little lost on the way back, but luckily there is normally someone not too far away coming in the opposite direction.

The waterfall was cool to see, we bought some fish food for 10 baht and feed the fish in the lake, there were a ton of koi and catfish. Unfortunetly the temple there seems to be unkept.

Great place but need a little effort during hiking to get to the top, can be tricky to jump through the stones and in the stream. Not for all. Although worth it! Go to the end and you won’t regret it. The swim was so refreshing

The hike to the waterfall was lush and a bit overgrown (trail signs missing, path taken over by greenery) took about an hour. Free to enter, has a toilet for 10 Bhat. Maybe saw two small groups of hikers.
