I mean, it's a hospital. What is there to say? Went there with high fever and gastro intestinal issues at about 5.30 pm. Personal medical anamnesis was done within 10 minutes of arrival. Full diagnosis later that evening. Due to my symptoms a COVID test had to be done as well. The results for this took the longest time of all procedures done. Nurses and doctors were very friendly and proficient in English. Staff was also helpful in processing everything with and for the travel health insurance. Did not have to pay a single baht when leaving as the hospital dealt with the insurance for the most part. Got a room for myself with an extra bed for my girlfriend. TV, fridge, microwave and water kettle in the room. Small snacks and water are included. Had to stay 3 nights. Nurses available round the clock. Checking on you every few hours. Doctor's visit twice per day. Meals were ok but you can order outside food. All in all: a better experience than I ever had in Germany.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They are all about money, not at all helpful. If you don’t pay no service, you can have the best insurance in the world, they don’t bother! Don’t go there!! I had to get my second rabies vaccine today and have the internationally recognized book with which all over the world every hospital has to give this vaccine on given date. They did not even bother to ask my name and insurance contact if I didn’t pay. Walked out of the hospital without having received any service. For them I could die they don’t care if you don’t pay. As said above, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

There’s an aquarium with one single fish swimming. I think this is not necessary. There are many ways the hospital can be decorated like plants or painting. It’s very depressing to look at one fish swimming alone and lonely all day long. Hospitals should be about freedom and joy to all living beings. Please free the fish back to the sea 🙏🏼

Do not recommend. They are just ripping off. Not a professionals. All is made just for the money. Medical consultation, treatment, medication (mind it will be 5-10 times more expensive than in pharmacy). And even you are insured, i do not recommend as the doctors are... how to say... so so

I have received the most excellent and swift care at the Thai International Hospital in Samui. Following an accident, my wounds — one of which required six stitches — were treated with the utmost asepsis and high doses of antibiotic. The dressings were changed every day. No infection occurred and everything has healed perfectly. Many thanks to Bhuwadul Rattanapruk, MD and his team of delicate and competent nurses and paramedics.

Spent two days in hospital for a stomach virus/bacterial infection. Staff are super professional and very good at their jobs. Explained all the steps at each level and always wanted to keep me informed. The nursing staff and doctors are kind, caring and explained everything along the way. Rooms are clean and spacious with TVs and a fridge as well as other amenities. Food here is great. They will even feed your companion. Check out was smooth and pharmacy explained all the medications I was being given. No one wants to get sick or injured but if you end up that way, this hospital would be my choice.

My daughter had a fever on the 3rd day arriving Samui. High fever 40 degrees and muscle pain. We requested IV drip hopping to lower her body temperature asap. They gave us an expired fluid (valid till 18 Nov 2023. Lucky we checked!) Did influenza and COVID tests; confirmed positive for influenza A and COVID. The doctor suggested us to leave and we refused coz IV drip only done around 80ml and my daughter wasn’t more awake than before. 2 hours pasted no medication was given to us; we asked and was told medication will be given only after we paid. Then we cleared the bill first so that we could get some medicines. After that, we requested to get an ice pad as the current one was not cold anymore. Guess what. They refused to give us any fresh ice pad, after we paid! Please note that my daughter was still on IV drip. Won’t recommend this hospital. It seemed that they didn’t care. The Philippina lady who greeted us at the start was very nice though!!

I was badly bitten by a dog. The care I received was not only of high quality and integrity and in line with good medical practice, every person from the person on the door to the doctors was kind, compassionate and friendly. They took very good care of me, I felt like it was not only the treating of the wound that mattered, but I mattered too. I would highly recommend them, they were fantastic. Thank you

My wife broke her leg on our holiday. She was taken to Thai International Hospital. The service we received from the Doctor, admin, nursing staff was absolute amazing. She broke her leg badly, and had to get an operation asap, the admin handled our insurance flawless and the operation was a success. Thanks to all at Thai International Hospital PS – Make sure you take out a good travel insurance, you never know when you would need it!!

I spend a few days at the hospital after an accident, the nurses and the doctors have but great towards me. BUT on December 24th 2022, around 1pm, I went for some follow-up checks but the lady at the reception has been incredibly rude and condescending to me. Being sick, I wasn’t really in the mood to argue while all I was doing was just asking relevant questions regarding my insurance cover since the prices are really high at this hospital. I hope she will not talk to other poor patients the way she talked to me. People don’t come to the hospital to have fun, we’re here because we need care, not people who talk to us in a condescending tone. That small discussion I had with her ruined my day and I felt like I needed to vent on this review section.

Attention! Ripoff alert ⚠ scam I was in need of a certificate for the Thai driver license. Costing 150 thb. A Thai recommended me this hospital for this purpose. So as I was at the cashier to ask the price, she said 2200 baht for the certification. I mentioned that a Thai friend send me here and paid only 150, she asked for 550. I said no, 150. The last price quoted from her was finally 250 but I wouldn't pay for being a foreigner more than a Thai had to pay. I do not mean the 100 more, I mean the type of logic behind this isn't correct in my opinion. She just smiled when I said I pay 150 and not more. So, I'm not get the certificate, and I'm not in need of a Thai license but I wanted to do for the ease of use. I'm looking for a correct hospital and will recommend it on Google.

I have been going to Thai International Hospital for years. I'd go for Medical certificates for my work permit to ailments etc and they used to be good. Today (September 12, 2018) I went and they just ripped me off. I was shocked. I went to have 2 stitches removed from my forehead. I was taken to the Emergency where the on duty nurses and a Doctor were. The Doctor walked over and said "how many days" as he pointed to my head, I said "seven" and he walked off. He didn't actually stop walking let alone examine me. The nurse removed the stitches and I was charged almost Baht1,800, 1,100 of that was for the 'Doctor's Care' Now this might not seem like a lot buy I get Medical checkups with the Doctor there and have vitals and blood taken and never been charged over baht 1,000. No warning of the costs upfront like other Hospitals. It was very disappointing. If you have to go there, ask for the price upfront.

Arrived on Boxing Day, 8am to the hospital with acute appendicitis. By 10:30 they have completed blood/urin tests and CT scan. Was operated on by 6pm. Released after two days (my request) after amazing and caring staff looked after me. I have only the best words for the staff at this hospital. Amazing!

Wow, so much better than US medical. Very quick, convenient, professional, quality, and not expensive compared to US prices. We have insurance in the US and the prices here are less than the deductibles, copays, exclusions, and fess. I will say that Thai medical insurance isn't as fair as the US since the Affordable Care Act came into effect. Insurance excludes a lot of things if they think there might be a pre-existing problem. Thai International has on-site imaging, an emergency room, dermatology and just about everything you need in terms of medical care. And their prices are very fair here, especially when you consider they run a hospital with full services.

Went there because of a bad diarrhea and they did a blood and stool test and told me it was a bacterial infection and I have to take antibiotics for 7 days. So far so good but when I went to the cashier my balance was way higher than expected. When I went to the pharmacy to get my medication I found out why, they have prescribed me many more unnecessary things without asking me, such as paracetamol and electrolytes and another painkiller… told them I don’t need any of it so they were able to cancel my payment so my total balance came to 3500 baht. Guess things like that will happen to you in any hospital tho… The staff was quite friendly, but their English was not the best so the communication was a bit hard.

I was in this hospital because I had pain in my ear. After 10 minutes of waiting, I was already in with Doctor Akkarapol. A very nice doctor who explained everything to me in detail. He checked first and then cleaned my ear. I got a prescription and was able to walk again. I can only recommend

My partner got food poisoning and went to the ER yesterday at 3 am. Everyone was so helpful and informed us of every step they took. So patient even if I was worried with the situation. I really appreciate all stuff. They helped us get in touch with our insurance while he was recovering. I can confirm that you will be in good hands with them. Thank you so much for looking after my partner so well.

I had ear problems after scuba diving. In Koh Tao the doctor was not very helpful but my experience here was really good! I was in the hospital due to a motorcycle accident. All the people who were taking care of me were very kind, had spoken well english and made me feel comfortable in my situation. The facilities are modern, bright and clean. As a foreigner I never felt strange in the hospital at any point of my stay. I also had something to eat, it was delicious. Thank you!

My husband has a chemical burn on the heel of his left foot from a pedicure on Koh Samui. We came to the Thai International Hospital and were immediately warmly welcomed at the entrance. My husband was treated immediately and we have been coming every day for almost a week to have the doctor treat the wound. If you have professional care, this is the right place for you!

14 hours at Thai Hospital for 32.000 THB. includes: -one and half hour waiting; -10 hours in refrigerator (a/c doesn’t work well) -One dropper; -one X-RAY; -two weirdest blood tests; -two 30 seconds talks with a doctor; -as many as 6 temperature measurements. -absolutely no reaction if you have a short breath or chest pain or you need a water; not includes (but available if you are very angry and after “15 minat”) -doctor will check you breath; -blood and X-ray tests results. Hospital representative gave to my wife an empty hospital blanks and asked her to put name and asked her to signed a form while she doesn’t understood anything, after that no one didn’t discuss any prices for procedures with she or with me.

I had the misfortune to slip and smash my hip in December 2022. I was admitted and attended to promptly with X-ray's and CT scans and ultimately I had a partial hip replacement by a local orthopaedic surgeon. The care and attention to wound dressing every day and the constant attention of the nurses made me feel comfortable in a overseas location. I feel I was better treated then in a top private Hospital in Melbourne. English was well spoken by the Doctors and some staff and the nurses had sufficient to ensure my daily comfort. A 13 day stay fully covered by my travel insurance company SCTI.

Professional and capable. I visited a couple of weeks ago after making an appointment for an annual check up. The staff were polite and capable. I received my results that afternoon. I Understand that their assistance is somewhat limited so depending on your needs you may need to seek an alternative hospital. Obviously they needed paying but I would not say they are ripping people off here.

I’ve been in Koh Samui for 6 weeks and developed a serious ear infection this weekend. At 7am this morning I was in severe pain and took a taxi to Thai International Hospital. I was greeted by friendly and professional staff, outstanding facilities and an easy check in process. Within no time I was in front of a GP who listened carefully to my problems and immediately issued treatment in the ER room, along with plenty of medication to take home. Within just over an hour I was feeling much better and on my way home, able to sleep and recover. Pricing is reasonable and I now have ultimate peace of mind on Koh Samui, knowing that such a fantastic hospital is available for health issues. I’m deeply grateful that this hospital exists… thank you to all of the staff working hard to maintain this incredible place 🙏🏥

Visited this hospital as we needed to see a doctor when we were in Thailand and I was pleasantly surprised by the professional and efficient service provided. The consultation and medication which was provided in the end was around $200 AUD, which I thought was about expected and will be claimed on travel insurance anyway.

We had an emergency, our friend fell off the bike and had a cut on her feet. The crew said 400 baath for the stitches and then in the end the bill came up to 8000 baath...it was ridiculous, they had unnecessary expenses and they had nobody to even explain the expenses in detail. It was shocking, they were taking advantage of the fact that we were tourists and just charged randomly. The bill made no sense, it was tetnus shot and stiches...it's daylight robbery. Really disappointed!!!

Very very expensive. Told my girlfriend that her insurance would cover all her tests and then after we did the tests they said that they had made a mistake and she would have to pay in full. Charged us a few thousand baht for Strepsils and paracetamol. Don't go here!
