I had a motorbike accident in Samui and ambulance brought me to Bandon hospital. I had an open fracture on my elbow, a broken shoulder and a hole in my right knee.. I arrived in the emergency room and I have been left on the side for an hour while I was in pain and bleeding everywhere The only reason I have been left on the side was an economical reason The administration of the hospital wanted to know first if I had a travel insurance or if I was willing to pay for to cost. They made me sign a document with my mouth because I couldn't use my arms !!! Money first, human after.. 2 evil woman (1 blond Thai and a foreigner ) came with an agressive attitude to let me know about the cost of my treatment while I was in pain and bleeding. I needed a surgery for my open fracture but they didn't do it until they received a payment guarantee from my insurance.. They overcharged patients and insurances. 25 000 for a scanner and 25 000 for ambulance and emergency care. I was in pain but they only thing they care about was about money money and money They asked me to leave my French passeport which is totally illegal. I refused and they put a daily pressure on me. They asked me to contact my insurance to push them paying faster! I had my surgery the day after, day they received an email from my insurance... If the issuance would have answered 5 days later, the hospital would have left me like a dog on the side of the road unless I pay around half a million bath for the total treatment I received. After surgery no follow up with the doctor He just came to see how my elbow looked like but didn't really care about what I was telling him. Hospiral Pharmacy is at least 3 times more expensive than any other pharmacy on the island... This is a cash making machine, not an hospital. They care about your money more than your life. The attitude of the 3 different persons working in the the administration is absolutely disgusting. Talking only about money while you are bleeding... An advice if you have an accident, don't let the ambulance bring you there. Ask for nathon government hospital. Better service and minimum 10 times cheaper . This hospital is a shame for the country!I

I called the Bandon hospital to get the quotation of an X-ray, price on the phone was 1500Thb, included doctors fees, nurses, etc... And in fact I been there got my X-ray and I paid exactly 1500.Thb The 2 others hospital I called earlier did not have the same price on the phone and when I showed up. And staff was nice too.

5/5, would break a bone again. Shattered my collarbone (ouch!), but the staff were absolute angels, making sure I felt safe and sound. Major shoutout to the X-ray guru who turned me into a human pretzel for the perfect shots.

I accidentally cut my neck while opening glass bottle near carotid artery and had minor bleeding and slight pain, I could not see clearly what was going on on my neck and my family was away. I decided to go Bandon hospital ( near Big C) because it was the nearest to my house and because I already went there to get health certificate for my work permit before. Staff and doctors were really helpful, kind and caring, took me to emergency straight away and did all they needed to do. I want to thank staff for patience and professionalism though my wound wasn't that serious.

Please do not waste your time at this hospital. My cousin and I are traveling internationally, and she became very very sick. The room we were put in was filthy. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. There were ants crawling all over the ground, no soap to wash your hands with, none of the nurses spoke any English, and the doctor visited the room only once during the 6 hour period we were there because my cousin simply had “traveler’s diarrhea,” although she was SEVERELY ill-the most I’ll she had ever been, and the most I’ll I had ever seen a person. The overall experience was very awful, and I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone to have to experience what my cousin did at this hospital.

I wanted to refill my medication at their pharmacy, not a prescription drug in Thailand. But the lady at the reception told me that I have to see their doctor first to be able to use their pharmacy. And the appointment will cost me 1850. Although this is not a prescription medicine to begin with. The same service as a foreigner without insurance cost me 3 times less in France. The price is just absurd

My experience - Faulty diagnosis to earn money from patients. Came here 2 weeks after I broke my toe, for a regular check up. The doctor who was not very gentle with the broken foot said I required an operation costing 7,300$. Trying to get this covered by insurance, the hospital could not produce an argument as to why I should operate instead of continue with the splint. Meaning my own insurance wouldn't cover it. Wasted 24h coming to this conclusion. When back from holiday I returned to my normal hospital who said it was healing fine. Seems Bandon Hospital would give a faulty diagnosis in the hope to earn some money.

disgusting hospital. they only want your money. they will prescribe tests and procedures for you without your knowledge and try not to let you out of the hospital just to take even more money from you. my wife had stomach pain. we came for an inspection. everything was very chaotic: during the inspection, I was kicked out of the office, at that time my wife was allowed to sign papers, without even explaining their contents. They injected antibiotics and said that they put her in a hospital for 2 days without asking her consent. the cost of drugs and tests is greatly overestimated. took blood for analysis without warning. The doctor said if I didn't leave my wife in the hospital overnight, she would die. do not recommend this hospital I took my wife, payed for medicine and service and ran away from this place

We went to the hospital due to high fever over several days. On the reception we were warmly welcomed in good English, temperature and blood pressure were measured and all the data was carefully written down for the doctor. Nearly immediately the doctor had time (he was speaking flawless English and was very competent) and blood was taken for analysis. The results were delivered in 40 minutes and after an hour we had a diagnosis, had our medicine and were out of the clinic. Could not imagine what could be done better.

Our experience here in difficult circumstances was first class. The hospital did a fantastic and very thorough job looking after a family member with glandular fever and complications with enlarged spleen and liver. Dr Kanjanakorn closely monitored her every day for 10 days along with very attentive nurses. The care we received here was far better than the care received with another family member in the UK at one of the private Spire Alexander hospitals. It was reassuring to get consistent close monitoring with the same team, appropriate medication including good pain relief. The room was very clean, the food good. The admin team were also all brilliant, especially Gabi who liaised daily with our insurance company. We are immensely grateful to them.

This hospital was recommended to us as medium priced, and we had a really positive experience with using this hospital. All staff were Thai, very professional and friendly, and spoke excellent English. The doctor who treated my daughter for her ear infection was especially great, so caring with my daughter, and seemed very knowledgeable. We did not have to wait longer than 5 minutes.

Rude and hostile Filipina nurse/supervisor was on duty when I arrived. She was so unpleasant I went to the nearby Thai Inter Hospital - where everyone was welcoming and charming, and the medical treatment excellent.

Unfortunately there is no 0 star’s. Horrible experience in this hospital. Very expensive, very unprofessional and not welcoming (exept some friendly nurses). The so called „doctor“ was the worst. She is a foreigner mature woman, very arrogant and unfriendly. Furthermore did not have any knowledge about anything she was talking about. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hospital and especially from this woman!

I had to come here because I cut my foot on rusty metal on the street. The doctor and nurse were nice, initial staff were not good and one man tried to put a dirty pen into the cut. Everything worked out OK but the hospital was very very dirty.

They charged overpriced. I had 3 scratches on my leg and arm. They did bandages. It costs 3300 baht!!

Not a bad hospital. I initially had some diarrhoea so I pulled into the hospital and ran into their bathroom. Afterwards I asked to see the doctor. The medication was a bit steep but not too expensive. The nurses were quite causal and friendly. But everything is kept in order. Certainly has points to improve.

I waited around 1.5 hours to get a work permit certificate costing 650b. I was impatient because did not expect to wait long. Includes blood test and chest X-ray. Certificate for work permit is 450b at samui international and possibly less at clinic in bangrak. Not advised of the waiting time but staff were helpful and do their best.

They were very transparent about every cost involved , they gave me choices to accept or decline. They were polite and competent. Within an hour I had a consultation, a blood test with results and ended with an intravenous antibiotic. Paid and out the door with medication and an open invitation to a follow up just to check.
