The Hostel is beautiful with a really nice garden and very nice Terrasse. The shower room and the toilet is really clean, as the bedroom was! You also get hot and cold drinkwater, a microwave and dishes! The Host , Anjar, is really helpful and friendly he picked us up at the ferry, helped us if he could, organized a scooter for us and brought us back to the ferry. Anjar made the whole Decoration with love for the details and it's super cool! The location is perfect, you got beaches and nice restaurants and you can climb a small path threw the Jungle (40min walk) to swim under a beautiful waterfall. To sum it up it was more than we expected for that really fair price, every morning Anjar brought some fresh bananas for breakfast in a garden which looks like a movie. Everything was clean and made with love. I really would book it again!

We stayed here two times and we will come back for sure! The accommodation is really modern, clean and comfortable. The garden is beautiful, it's the perfect location to calm down and relax. Anjar ,the host, is really friendly, he picked us up from the pier and dropped us there as well when we left. Totally recommend to stay here for a couple of days, love this place!

By far the best hostel we have ever been to! We enjoyed our time and loved it! The hostel is situated next to the rainforest and a waterfall, in a quiet area. Everything was super clean and hygienic and beds were comfortable. The service was great, the host is so friendly and helpful and gave us amazing advice! Thank you, Anjar!

Very nice place, I recommend it to everybody ! It's a cheap but quality Homestay ! For around 10$ the night we had so much more than expected ! For exemple, when we arrived we had a free Papaya, free Coffee and water (hot or cold) when you want, any you want ! The owner picked up us for free at the boat pier (5/10 minutes away with car). And same to leave the place ! It's situated near waterfalls that is a very good point, you also have free Access to bikes, so you can go for eating in town (20 minutes with bike). The room was clean, a fan but no AC (wich is not important, nights are freshs here). Commun parts were clean too, good internet, free unlimited soap,... We also rented a motorbike (250 bht /day) with not giving our passport and that's a VERY VERY good point ! The only "Bad" point for me (and it's not a Big deal) it's that you are fare from the most beautiful beaches of island and the Big cities. But with a motorbike it's ok ! It's like an hour to ride all the island ! I recommend, the owner is very nice, the place beautiful, don't hesitate ! Go for it โœŒ๏ธ

Best. Hostel. Ever. We showed up intending to stay for a week and ended up staying a month. Absolutely gorgeous place, great facilities and an incredibly accommodating host. The rooms are clean and cozy, the shared spaces are kept spic and span, and the outdoor area looks out onto great views with chirps and chirrups to keep you company.

A nice quiet place to stay with nice views right next to the waterfall. The beds are comfortable and bigger than usual. Nice big towels are provided, shampoo and soap. Thereโ€™s also water (hot and cold), tea and coffee and a microwave. The shared bathroom is always clean and with toilet paper. There is a restaurant right next door but donโ€™t recommend it, rather go the main road and eat ther which is 20-30min walking or around 8 min by motorbike. Overall a really good experience!

I have stayed at Baan Hinlad several times because of the great service provided, its lovely location, and accommodation choice. I will continue to make Baan Hinlad my Koh Samui home. I love it!

Very peaceful hostel that looks out onto a jungle garden and is right by the Hin Lad waterfall making you feel at one with nature! Anjar the host was so welcoming and friendly, offering to pick us up from the pier and drive us to Nathon! Would definitely recommend :)

It had such a lovely quiet location with some great stalls, cafes and restaurant near by and a tourist attraction waterfall which you could also hear from the communal area, it was so pretty and relaxing, you donโ€™t need any aircon as it was nice and cool just with the fan and shaded area, shower was brilliant and all very clean and tidy, bed felt very secure safely nailed to the wall, the owners were so welcoming, caring and very kind and even took us to the ferry in the morning, we used the free bicycles to go to 7/11 which was a great ride and very fun, the drying airers, drinking water, microwave and free coffees etc were also a big bonus, you canโ€™t go wrong for the price here especially if you want to escape from the busy areas of the island!

Staying here means sleep quietly , away from city noises and be surrounded by nature. We stayed here 4 nights and there's nothing we can complain about. Anjar offers you free pick up from Lipa Noi Pier or Nathon when you will check in and check out. Bikes are free to use and we used them to reach Nathon Beach, super easy only 10 Min away! Rooms are tiny, but enough space to fit 2 ppl and both rooms and bathroom (shared) were impeccable clean! To see the rest of the island, we do suggest you to rent a motorbike and all the main attractions are easily to do in 1 day. If you like hiking, it will take longer cause in Koh Samui it's full of waterfalls and jungle! Hin-Lad waterfalls are super close to the hostel/home and it's a nice walk through the jungle - easy not complicated! Will be good to do in the morning before dedcovery the island. Thank you for your amazing service , Anjar! Highly recommended !

Approach of owners is beyond believe. Free pickup, drinking water, tea and bikes. Although room is simple you should definitely stay in this quiet place and enjoy Koh Samui. We truly loved it there! Thank for everything.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 days and we really enjoyed it .. nice and relaxing place. The host Anjar is very nice guy .. picked us from the pier & gave as a ride even when we had to leave. I recommend this place for everyone even if not as a couple because you meet other travelers in the garden ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ’ฏ

I can't begin to put into words how wonderful this hostel was! One of the best in our month long backpacking trip through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms that opened up into the communal back garden and the tranquility was amazing. The garden/yard is impeccably maintained and there is a large covered area for eating (free water, coffee, tea, dishes, microwave) and relaxing (yoga mats and floor pillows provided). There are many fruit trees around that you may be lucky enough to try, along with many birds to listen to. The shower has hot and cold water, complimentary towels and shampoo & shower gel. Anjar was also kind enough to pick us up at Nathon pier when we arrived and took us back there after check out, going out of his way to help us pick up our tickets before bringing us to the ferry
It's also conveniently located right next to the Hin Lat waterfall, which was a perfect place to escape the heat. There are many large pools and falls to swim in and it's so wonderful to have it literally at your back door.
I would recommend this place with Anjar for anyone staying on Samui, it's the perfect oasis
