We
stayed
for
6
days
in
The
Level
Boat
Suite
and
1
day
in
the
pool
access
suite.
THE
GOOD:
First
off,
the
resort
is
hands
down
the
best
layout
and
landscaping
compared
to
the
competing
neighboring
hotels:
Kimpton
or
Sala.
Lush
trees,
flowers
and
plants
everywhere
+
a
huge
lazy
river
style
pool
that
spans
the
entire
length
of
the
resort.
Plus,
the
beach
is
clean
with
crystal
clear
water
and
plenty
of
shaded
seating.
The
Boat
Suite
is
awesome
and
better
than
anything
you
can
get
at
the
comparable
resorts.
It
gives
you
your
own
mini
apartment
style
space
with
garden,
roof
deck,
2
bathrooms
and
cool
netted
loft.
Having
stayed
in
the
boat
suite
and
the
other
rooms,
we
would
not
choose
any
other
room
style.
The
Boat
Suite
is
the
best
way
to
enjoy
the
property.
Secondly,
the
huge
breakfast
buffet
is
amazing.
Truly
5
star
quality
and
available
every
morning
with
a
massive
selection
of
fresh
pastries,
fruits,
vegetables,
and
a
la
carte
omelettes,
etc.
That
was
one
of
our
favorite
parts
of
the
stay.
Lastly,
we
chose
the
rooms
with
“The
Level”
package
included
which
gives
you
access
to
the
private
Level
Lounge
overlooking
the
ocean.
For
the
price,
the
level
package
is
ABSOLUTELY
worth
it.
It’s
a
small
additionally
daily
fee
but
gives
you
a
large
private
area
where
you
can
escape
to
relax.
It
includes
free
breakfast
in
the
morning,
snacks
in
the
afternoon
and
drinks
in
the
evening.
We
found
ourselves
in
the
lounge
a
lot
to
hang
out,
play
games,
get
drinks,
or
go
for
breakfast
whenever
the
main
restaurant
was
too
busy.
It’s
100%
worth
it,
and
we
wouldn’t
come
back
the
Melia
unless
we
could
get
The
Level
package.
THE
NOT
SO
GOOD:
-
The
gym
is
too
small
for
the
resort
this
size.
They
really
need
to
expand
it.
There’s
only
a
few
machines
and
one
set
of
free
weights.
It
was
almost
always
packed,
so
we
never
got
to
work
out
like
we
wanted
too.
-
We
we’re
supposed
to
get
late
checkout,
but
upon
check
out
when
we
asked
for
it
we
were
refused.
-
The
beach-side
bar
/
restaurant
is
nice
but
the
food
isn’t
very
good.
We
ate
there
several
times
and
found
that
while
they
are
charging
American
prices…
the
quality
simply
isn’t
up
to
American
standards.
There
were
lots
of
better
options
outside
the
resort.
