This is a place where there are plenty of attractions regardless of the weather. We were with our two-year-old daughter 👶and she was delighted with the kids club, playground, swimming pools, hammocks and swing on the beach 🌴💚 The pool in the garden has a large Jacuzzi ideal for children. 👶The pool by the beach is also perfect for children as they don't slide around. There are several separate areas for children and adults, plenty of sunbeds and shade.🌴 The view from the room was beautiful, we also had a huge bathtub on the balcony. 🥰There was plenty of choice for adults and children at breakfast, also for vegetarians. Children's dishes and a high chair were available.💪 There was a large and well equipped fitness club, tennis court, spa, staff was very helpful, daily room cleaning. We had a mini kids zone with teddy bears. The daughter was delighted. I recommend the hotel, especially for families.👶❤️

During the raining season, i stayed all the time at the hotel. They acknowledged me a elite member and gave a free upgrade room. The room was fabulous and spacious. Because of the low season, they provided a limited breakfast choice and food menu and the quality met the expectation. All dishes are well decorated which is a unique feature compared with other Marriott’s hotels I stayed. Staff is friendly and attentive. You only need to download their apps for room services and any enquirers. You can rent the motorbike from the store which is located opposite to the resort. 200 baht per day. All in all, I would highly recommend others to stay here.

5* Once again, for the Samui Sheraton! Waited 365 days to come back and didn't disappoint! As always the friendly, amazing staff will bring me back, they're a credit to why this hotel works so well, everyone is brilliant, from check in, to trolly attendance, housekeeping and cleaning staff, breakfast, bar and waiting staff everyone you meet is so welcoming. The rooms are really spacious and nicely decorated, and the restaurant and blue monkey bar serve good food and drinks, breakfast is a must! Be sure to ask where your room is located. The steps up and down are steep, but there is a buggy service to accommodate! We opted for the Dimond package, including meals, drinks, and massages, great value.

My spouse and I recently stayed at the Sheraton Koh Samui Resort and we were left feeling disappointed with our experience. While the hotel had some positive aspects, such as its location and facilities, there were several issues that detracted from our stay. Firstly, we had booked and paid for a larger guest room with a king-size bed and a larger balcony with sea view, but upon check-in, we were offered a lower category room with a double bed. The staff member who assisted us with check-in was not particularly helpful and did not seem interested in addressing the issue or finding a solution that would better suit our needs. Although our room was eventually changed next day, it still did not meet the standards we had expected. The view from the room was not as advertised and the amenities were not up to par for the price we had paid. Furthermore, we were disappointed with the customer service we received during our stay. Staff members were often unresponsive and unhelpful, particularly during late check-in. It was clear that the hotel could do better in terms of training their staff to provide a higher level of customer service. Overall, while the Sheraton Koh Samui Resort has some positive features, our experience was marred by several issues that made it difficult for us to fully enjoy our stay. We would not recommend this hotel to other travelers looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience in Koh Samui.

Lots of fun activities and has a great view, the spa was amazing, I am very impressed. The food is delicious and has a wide variety. I had lots of fun in the kids club Colouring bags, making soap and candles which you could use your points to pay for. Khun Bow is very nice and takes care after everyone and you can rely on her with your kids for sure. You can also rent paddle boards and kayaks. Khun Pae is the person who looks after these beach and water activities and has great service. I recommend everyone to come here on their vacation and I would definitely come back here again ☺️

The staffs here were all extremely friendly and knowledgable. We were greeted by K. May at the reception, she explained the hotel's activities and suggested every promotion so we can plan on where to eat and what to do in the hotel. It was very impressive. The staff at Kid's club, K. Bow was also very active, kind, attentive, and friendly with kids. I felt safe and entrusted my kid with her. She was a great help during our four days staying at the hotel. We did several activities with the hotel and K.Piek who accompanied the crab foundation trip was very friendly and helpful. When we ran out of ideas of what to do and where to eat local food, the hotel fronts were very attentive and helpful. They recommended local restaurants that had a very convenient pick-up service. It was a great stay and a great experience, the only downside would be there were too many stairs from our room to the beach. This hotel is highly recommended for family with kids.

Didn't stay here but came for their Xmas lunch and it was a great experience! The staffs was welcoming and helpful. Took a buggy from their main lobby to their beach side dining area! Decent pricing for their buffet and food was great! Parking for both cars and bikes are available.

Unfortunately its not a 5 star resort, but it could a good 4 stars. The building is pretty old, and no maintenance has been done for very long. In our room we found a rat on the 2nd night, the staff was nice and they moved us to another room. Food is really basic, nothing special and very limited options with always the same menu and 1 restaurant only. My husband felt very sick after eating their food at the restaurant and it took 2 days to recover. The beach is quite small without a proper sunbathing area. Its a basic-beach hotel, nothing extraordinary. The staff is nice but unfortunately it doesn't compensate all other issues of the hotel. Not worthy staying here, its not a dream accommodation, you can find better in Koh Samui 100%.

I did not stay at the hotel, only had lunch at the beachside restaurant, Blue Monkey. Discovered by accident as we saw the back gate to the hotel thinking its a short cut to the beach. The executive chef at the restaurant happened to be there and was so nice and friendly, telling us its OK to cut through even if we are not going to eat there. We checked the menu and decided to try it out. Was delicious! View was awesome and staff were customer service oriented and friendly. It did rain towards the end of our meal and we were ushered in to the indoor area, which are lovely too! Visit for a good meal by the beach to enjoy the view with top class service.

Stayed for 3 nights. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast had a very good spread and food quality is good. Access to the pool and beach is good. Rooms are comfortable albeit furnishings are a little dated. Need more lighting at the garden pool area at night. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Will be back.

Read the reviews before you book. The photos look amazing but are misleading. In person and up-close it's a completely different experience. From the moment we arrived it was a sour experience. Check-in is 3pm, and I feel like the staff purposely kept us waiting until 3pm on the dot to check us in. They also advised as that we should have booked directly through them and not through an external agent website as we would have a better experience and get a better rate if we booked through them. The hotel is situated with a nice view over the ocean and the gardens are beautiful. However despite this, the rooms are worn, scuffed walls, built-up with dirt and grime. The whole resort needs a complete renovation as it's a dump and does not live up to the 5 star rating. Noisy location next to the road and noisy old air-conditioning. We did not complete our stay here and left early with no-refund. I will never be booking with the Marriott group again.

We had a fantastic time at Sheraton Samui Resort. The rooms were luxurious, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The private beach provided breathtaking views, creating a serene atmosphere. The delicious breakfast options satisfied our taste buds each morning. The staff exhibited utmost professionalism and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. A truly memorable stay!

I love this place so much! It has a very good location. Private beach is very beautiful and clean. it’s a lot better than public beach in Samui island. The hotel is big with uphill and downhill paths but no problems they have golf carts to take you everywhere you want to go! I can’t believe how fast they are when you call them you need a ride to restaurant or lobby it’s less than 5 mins they showed up all the time 24/7. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. Tip: If you wake up early you get to see very beautiful sunrise. Ps. Since I’m being Bonvoy member I get 10-15% on food and service! It’s great

I spent a fantastic week in January at this resort. The room was great, especially the bath on the balcony. I really loved the food. Very good quality and a fantastic variety of Thai and non Thai food. The beach and the pool were fabulous. The Thai massage on the beach was magic. But best of all, the staff were the friendliness, most helpful chatty staff I have ever met. They really looked after me and even gave me a Whatsapp number for reception to make booking activities and answering queries easier. I loved the elephant sanctuary trip and the cooking class. I was sad to leave and hope I get an opportunity to return someday. Thank you .

We had an absolutely delightful stay in October, thanks to Head Chef Coco and the incredible kitchen staff. The daily breakfast menu was a highlight, offering a diverse and fresh selection. The personalized service, with cooks preparing fresh food as per our requests, made our mornings even more special. A standout was the special treatment our 4-year-old son received – a fresh, novelty-shaped custom pancake every morning. It brought him immense happiness and excitement, creating wonderful memories for our family. The poolside restaurant menu was exceptional, and we particularly enjoyed our time at the beachside restaurant/bar, aptly named the Blue Monkey. The thematic touch of the blue monkey resonated with us, especially since our son sported blue zinc/sunscreen on his face. The staff affectionately referred to him as the "Blue Monkey Boy," showing genuine warmth and care. Our daily visits were a testament to the outstanding food and impeccable service. The staff's friendly and compassionate approach created a welcoming atmosphere, making our dining experiences truly exceptional. Kudos to Chef Coco and the entire team for making our stay unforgettable.

Totally awesome place. Fitted securely in the undulating hillside with terrific views it spares no expense with respect to decor & finishing throughout the entire resort. Very impressive. Dinner on final nite with accumulated points was fantastic.

We’ve stayed in quite a few hotels around Thailand over the years and there’s usually a “but...” at some point, but I have to say the Sheraton was as near perfect as I think you can get. We drove from Bangkok, not that bad really, with a stop over night. Got the the Sheraton after a half hour drive from the port and had a genuinely warm reception from the staff. Checked in and taken to out rooms, close to reception with a balcony and pretty much all the rooms have a sea view which is nice. There were four of us in the room, tight but not a problem as we spent so little time in the room it wasn’t an issue. Rooms have all the usual amenities: bath and shower, bath robes, slippers, complimentary water, safe, air con, tv etc. The Sheraton’s built on a hill so getting between the main hotel and the pool/sea and restaurant is by golf buggy. Any time you need to get anywhere the staff will order you one and within a couple of minutes you are driven to where you want to go. Amenities include: pool x2, kids water park, tennis (paid for and not cheap at about 800 baht per hour including racket hire), Baran direct access to the beach, beach beds with as many towels as you need. You can order food and drinks by pressing a bell by your day bed, nice touch. We ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was very good, not the cheapest but good. Had drinks at the beachside bar too, again not cheap but it’s a lovely bar and worth doing at least once during your stay. Breakfast was off the scale, but at about 1500 baht per person it would have to be! It was amazing in choice and quality and , to be honest, worth the money. Breakfast room is open plan with direct access to the gardens. Negatives: not cheap, the rooms need updating with a paint job, need to provide beach bags to take with you, quite a few Chinese who are very loud and tend to take over a bit. Positives: service (really not sure why people have said the service was not good), beach is lovely, gyms small but good with free water too, location is lovely.

The Sheraton Samui Resort is an absolute gem. Set amidst a vast, green landscape, it's a paradise for those who love to explore, and if you'd rather ride, the buggies are just a call away. The breakfasts were a hit – a scrumptious spread of European and local dishes that got us started for the day. Our room was not just comfortable, but it also boasted a stylish bathtub on the terrace and a fabulous view. For the kids, the resort was an endless adventure. Between the awesome camp set in the room and the kid's room filled with activities (our son particularly enjoyed the crafts), they were in seventh heaven. We loved the cool stone pool and the variety of beachside activities – from kayaking to stand-up paddle boarding, all available free of charge. And if you're into some friendly competition, there's a ping-pong table too. With two pools to choose from, one lively and family-friendly and the other more tranquil, there's something for everyone. And the beachside bar and restaurant? A great spot for some downtime. Being close to Central Samui and other attractions was just the cherry on top. Highly recommended!

Loved my stay here, resort is right on the beach and their restaurant on the beach serves great food and cocktails. Excellent feel to the place and rooms were spacious, with partial sea view. Overall great place to stay if you are looking for a beach resort

Nice hotel! The friendly staff and the amazing beach are definitely the best parts, the water is super clear and has a stunning color (when the sea is clam), and the breakfast buffet and the tropical hotel garden are wonderful. The only cons for us are that the hotel (especially the hotel rooms) need a bit of renovation here and there, and the food at the hotel restaurants is overpriced and definitely not 5 star quality (eat outside of the hotel whenever you can), therefore we only give 4 stars. Another con is that they don’t have enough beach chairs for all hotel guests, if you arrive at the beach after 11am, it will be difficult to find a spot. But overall we can recommend the hotel!

Nice hotel, relatively close to the main area of koh Samui (chaweng) which is approx 10min drive away, which is a 200- 300baht taxi. Staff were very friendly, so 5 star for friendliness. Overall I would say the hotels in koh Samui appear to be more expensive than Phuket, but in my review I will be benchmarking them against Phuket - so as a baseline - I would expect similar experience facilities, which was unfortunately not the case. The main pool facilities while they look good on a picture, unfortunately aren’t that great for an adult as the pool is very shallow, and has ‘rock features’ in which make any type of an actual swim not possible. While I appreciate it is likely to be kid friendly, other hotels seem to have got this mix more right. There is a nice restaurant close to the beach and a very nice beach bar, unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try these as we went into the city both nights. The room was okay, although it had a tub on the balcony, it was not very modern and didn’t have the wow factor of other hotels stayed in across Thailand, think it is likely a bit older facility. Check in was very friendly, but feel the facilities could have been better explained. Also as an Marriott status, this hotel did the least to recognise the loyalty status across the whole Thailand.

Pros: Nice location, amazing property. Breakfast (not included) is fantastic. Staff is great. They’ll offer to shuttle you to and from your room on their golf cart. Cons: The other resort food we tried was mediocre. Rooms/bathrooms are dated.

I loved my stay here, it’s a self contained resort and you don’t have to step out if you just want to relax, enjoy the greenery and the private beach. But you have to do a lot of walking around but can always use the buggy service. Staff are extremely nice and helpful, very happy people who are genuinely willing to take care of you.

Stellar service and amazing food. The breakfast here is really amazing. The staff were very attentive and made our stay very memorable. Be sure to try the whole Sea Bass prepared deep-fried with Thai spices and dipping sauce. Loved hanging out on the beach at the Blue Monkey bar.

Lovely resort, close to beach. Events are going on all the time so be warned if you want complete peace and quiet. Pool is huge. Staff are lovely and helpful. Huge choice at breakfast! Would recommend the signature omelette . Rooms are clean.

Nice resort. Got upgraded before arrival. Good location, just the south end of chaweng beach. The beach is very nice and the water is clear. The room is big and well maintained. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast with local and western options. Great service. Some good local restaurants nearby and a 7-11 convenient store is only few minutes away.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Sheraton Samui. Accommodation was great. Big room with big bathroom and beautiful balcony view of the ocean. The food at both restaurants was also amazing!!!! The garden pool is so nice and relaxing. I can’t wait to come back here again!!!

Really great place to stay. I liked the location a lot, and the hotel staff was super helpful with all of our requests. Being right on the beach was awesome, and you can get food and drinks delivered to your sunbed. The pools are great, the breakfast buffet is great, love the gym, and there’s even beachside massage. The only con was a faulty toilet that broke every day - otherwise this would have been 5 stars.

As someone who has stayed in many 5 star hotels, this Sheraton was a disappointment -- certainly not 5 stars, maybe 3.5 -- perhaps it would be okay for families, but, as a young person, this is not the place to stay. I left one night early (of 2 nights) and checked into the Banana Fan -- I instantly knew I made the right decision to leave. Here were the issues: 1) Although I booked weeks in advance, the hotel struggled to find my reservation, and when they did, we waited an additional 30 mins before being able to check into the room -- and we arrived at 330p -- not an early check in. So the experience started on a bad foot. 2) The resort is 2-3km from the main area of restaurants and bars. Just far enough that you literally have to pay the hotel taxi 300 baht just to leave the resort. 3) The resort is so oddly laid (and large) you need to ask the front desk to call a golf cart for you just to get around. 4) the hotel staff struggled to give me wifi access -- it took multiple phone calls before it was finally fixed. 5) Although there was no one encountered that was "unfriendly," folks were also not as gracious or nice as normally found at 5 star hotels -- very basic politeness and certainly didn't care that we had to wait for our room or that I was expericing wifi problems. 6) Room air conditioner was very loud and the rooms are not sound proof -- expect to be awaken by the outside noise in addition to the noisy air conditioning. 7) my "Seaview" room that I paid extra for (150 euros per night) wasn't worth the money, it had a very obstructed view of the sea. Not only that, it just didn't feel very modern or new, as one would expect from a 5* hotel. 8) the smoke alarm battery indicator on the ceiling above the bed is so bright that you can see the light it emits with your eyes closed -- not good for sleeping. Bottom line: don't waste your time or money at this so called 5 star resort. Again, maybe for families not trying to leave the resort and not sensitive to the above items I mentioned, it would be okay.

It has been an amazing experience staying at the hotel for 2 nights. This place is not modern style, so those who look for place with nice photoshoot might not prefer. However, I find the place is so peachful and best value-to-money. The hotel is so well maintained. Much better than what it looks like on internet. Also it locates at a very nice beach. From the booking till check-out, everything has been so smooth and all the staffs are so helpful. Even after we checked-out, we forgot our belongings and the hotel called us immediately to inform us. The service has been beyond expectation from driver พี่เปี๊ยก, receptionist, spa therapist and staffs at the restaurants. I cannot say highly enough about the service. I have truely enjoyed the place that I wrote first review ever. If you looking for somethign traditional & cozy & nice service. This is the place for you. It's so underrated.

Amazing resort. Room was solid, but amenities were great. Blue monkey bar drinks and food were top notch and affordable too, and breakfast was amazing. STRONGLY recommend this place

False advertising. I was lured to book this accomodation based on their all inclusive pack that included : free Yoga clases every morning, free 1 hour beach massage . Wide range of massage options on the Spa. Yet funnily enough, free yoga was suspended but not the activities that had an extra charge, massage option was only 1 and with the clothes on due to covid ( beginning with a wonderful foot massage with scrub, guess the covid excuse doesn’t apply to feet). through out all the stay we notice a significant lack on communication when we booked yoga upon arrival, and at the time of the class, one person sends us to a different location, another tells us it has been cancelled and yet the board of activities keeps showing the class… No explanation of what the all inclusive pack was. No explanation of the premises. No info book or tourist guide or similar. Basically got dumped at our room and told to ask reception if we needed anything. But if you are not interested on the activities and amenities, then is a good place, we stayed in the suite with ocean view , spacious and clean, very close to the kids club ( who had nobody and very few activities) restaurant with the loveliest staff and the money bar with great happy hour deals. It is not walking distance to chaweng beach and you mus expect about 300tbh for taxi to chaweng center. In overall, I wish I could leave earlier. All the reason I had to choose this place over Centara or the Library are not actually there, so I am very disappointed.

I like to visit the restaurant by the sea time by time and drawing Neurographie. The chef cooks delicious. Especially I like his salad dressing. Something with mustard and honey, it’s really good. Staff are friendly, and really busy. Thé hôtel is not new maybe, but good maintained. For me it’s a pleasure to spend the day by sea here. Btw I saw once how lifeguard helped for two lil kids which were swim badly near rocks with a high waves while their parents were away. Saved them. Good job tho.

Beautiful garden area with small waterfalls, nice pool, and off the beach which has a big rock formation to one side but gives it character. Hotel a little older but in good condition.. Kelly at the reception was great. Marriott Bonvoy status was acknowledged. Restaurant Blue Monkey was great for dinner but didn't honor my status discount mentioned on my status pamphlet (I know 1st world problems). Close to restaurants but highly recommend a car or bike, Grab is also available.
