Worth the extra money to take the speed boat to Ang Thong! There were 6 crew for 8 guests, which means we got a private snorkeling tour. We also got some excellent photos taken by the knowledgeable crew, a nice lunch, and some fantastic views. Kayaked through caves! The speed boat stopped for whale and dolphin sightings too. Lunch included, plus free soda, water, and fruit!

MUST DO, MUST SEE, MUST GO ! A TOP tour. My best tour in Thailand. That was so great that I don't know where to start for this review. First of all, 100 degrees east is organizing tour with few people so you are not within 50 persons. The team is so great and give you lots of attention during all day so you fell like being in family and old friends around them. It all started with a warm welcoming at the shop which gave the tone : we would have a fantastic day. At every step of the tour, you are in confidence even if you are not used to snorkeling. The overall day is a very well balance between activity and some "rest time" for instance after the great lunch we had. On top of this, the equipment we were given is in a very good state and professional one. Any time you need a cool drink you can get it. We did kayaking also and had lots (but not too much) information around fish, plants , rocks and all we can see. finally, the little walk and stair to see the hidden lake of the natural reserve was great. Did I ever say that the team is taking care of you smartphone and takes pictures for you... That was AMAZING. Thank you 100 degrees east team. We will definitely recommend you.

Wow! What an amazing day we have just had with the team at 100 Degrees East! The team are a fantastic group of friends who’s passion for snorkelling and diving really shines through. They were attentive, knowledge, friendly and welcoming. The home cooked lunch on a private beach was incredible. They only take small groups out, which makes it far more personable, and the equivalent of going from economy to first class. Thank you once again!

The team is amazing, every member is super nice and attentive. The trip is very well thought out to the detail. Not too much people on the boat. We had a fantastic time. And I don’t have even smallest thing to complain about. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this company for the Ang Thong Marine Park snorkeling tour. The team is knowledgeable, speak good English, and are safety oriented. We really enjoyed the small group sizes with lots of guides to learn a lot and avoid the crowds. The team served us a nice lunch with lots of drinks and fruit throughout the day. We had very timely pickup/drop off… and the views were amazing! We loved snorkeling and kayaking. No complaints here I highly recommend!

One of the highlights of our trip to Koh Samui! We went on the Angthong Marine Park Tour. This was the best snorkeling of my life - my husband and I had 1 guide assigned to us (almost a private tour) and he took us into a cave where we were surrounded by fish. It felt like a scene from Planet Earth. Despite being tourists ourselves, we're a bit allergic to large tour groups, and were attracted to this tour because they try view the sites in Angthong at off peak times. This was very true and we felt like we had the park to ourselves - even on the hike to Emerald Lake. The crew is also amazing photographers and staged a whole beach shoot. Highly recommend!

We did two tours with this amazing company in April and they were quite simply two of the best days we’ve ever had. The scenery was stunning, and the range of wildlife both in and out of the water was phenomenal. The quality of the reef in the 5 Islands National Park in particular was amazing - huge shoals of fish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and nudibranches all in abundance. In addition, the attentiveness of the staff to every passenger, but particularly to our children whom they helped snorkel and dive safely made the experience even more of a joy. I would highly recommend these guys and will most certainly be back in future!

I had the pleasure of participating in their snorkeling and kayaking tour, as well as their island tour and lunch, and I have to say, it was one of the highlights of my trip. Firstly, the staff at 100 Degrees East were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure that everyone in the group was comfortable and safe throughout the activities, and they were always happy to answer any questions we had about the area or the activities we were doing. The snorkeling and kayaking were both amazing experiences. The equipment provided was in great condition, and the guides took us to some incredible spots that were teeming with marine life. I saw some of the most beautiful coral reefs and fish that I've ever seen, and the kayaking was a great workout and a wonderful way to explore the coastline. The island tour was also fantastic. The guide was incredibly informative and took us to some breathtaking spots around the island that I never would have discovered on my own. We also got to enjoy a delicious lunch on the beach, which was a great way to refuel after all the activities. Overall, I would highly recommend 100 Degrees East to anyone looking for a fun and exciting way to explore the natural beauty of the area. The staff are top-notch, the activities are well-planned and executed, and the whole experience was one that I'll always remember. Thank you, 100 Degrees East!

My girlfriend and I both highly recommend this tour group. We did the Angthong National Marine Park tour and had an absolute blast. The highlights were snorkeling in a secluded cove and a delicious Thai lunch served on an empty beach. The whole trip is super well organized and designed for you to have the most fun. The crew are some of the kindest people I have ever met. They are very knowledgeable about the geography and wildlife of the region, committed to your safety, and just generally fun to be around. I would honestly take another tour with this agency just to see the crew again. Will definitely use their services if I ever go back to Samui!

One of the most memorable experiences from our recent trip to Thailand was with 100 Degrees East, can't say enough good things about the amazing day and service with a smile we got from literally everyone. First and foremost, thank you Cara for taking the time to answer my millions of questions before the trip, we're so happy the weather finally permitted us to get a day out on the ocean before we shipped out to Bangkok. And to Ben and the rest of the crew that took us out (my apologies for forgetting names): You guys were simply amazing, I'm not even quite sure where to begin. Pros of going with 100 Degrees East excursions: 1) Personalized service from beginning to end. Whether it was during kayaking or laying on the beach after lunch, there was always someone around to take awesome photos of us. I'm still not quite sure how they were able to differentiate between everyone's phones as they are constantly taking pictures of you with your own phones, but the pictures they were able to capture of us were simply amazing. 2) I'm not a great swimmer, but I never felt like I was losing out on the snorkeling experience as I had Ben drag me all over the place and show us all sorts of cool sea life. This is because 100 Degrees East split everyone up into small groups of 3-4 people, so everyone had a personal guide in the water. 3) The speedboat carries a maximum of 12 adults, so you won't be just a number like the rest of the discount excursions that take out giant groups of people at a time. I can say this with confidence as I've experienced the big group excursions on previous trips to Koh Samui, and they simply don't compare. Yes, the price is a bit more with 100 Degrees East, but it's well worth the money. And in this day and age of covid, smaller groups are probably a better bet anyway. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking, just make sure you go with 100 Degrees East if you're looking for a great experience next time you're in Koh Samui!

We did a full day private boat trip to Ang Thong Marine Boat park. From start to finish it was one of the best tours I’ve done anywhere in the world. The booking process was smooth and easy and all the arrangements were super well-organized. The entire team on the boat was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive the entire day, and the food that was offered was delicious and plentiful. I could not recommend 100 Degrees East more highly.

Highly recommend for sea tours! This organisation came recommended in the Koh Samui guide and we’re glad we chose them! Small groups (max 12 people) and smart timings ensure you’ll never feel crowded and that you can relax and enjoy the surroundings as private as possible. Also they’re very keen on protecting the environment, working with metal water flask instead of plastic bottles for example. They also make a lot of photos of you during the trip with your own phone, without any additional charge. This is also very nice: You only pay the fee for the tour which already includes everything. No need to worry about park entrance fees, lunch costs, etc. It’s an all-in price.

An excellent company that really thinks of everything. I great trip for active people and seemed to be really enjoyed by the three older teens in the group. Guides are helpful and knowledgeable. You will see things you never have seen before and will finish the day a little tired but knowing your day and money were well spent.

Had a fantastic day with the family (3 kids): snorkeling in mind-blowing clear water, kayaking, a home-cooked Thai meal at the beach, and relaxing swims in between. The crew was more than nice, informative and overall fantastic. Highly recommend them!

We had a great day snorkeling, resting, eating and kayaking in the Angthong Marine Park in a small group tour and in a new and clean speedboat. Very attentive, fun crew that thought about all the details. On top of making plenty photos for us with our phones. Highly recommend.

Best day of my vacation with 100 degrees. We visited Ang Thong National park on a full day trip. The speedboat was awesome, the crew was the best und the organization was perfect. Yes, the prize is higher than usual, BUT there is everything included, no hidden costs. AND the crew will take you to the most beautiful places, when all the other tourists are gone. So you can enjoy the places like the are. Well worth the money. Thank you guys!

This is a highly recommended tour operator. My partner and I used their services to visit the Ang Thong wildlife preserve. We were both impressed by several things. -The tour was well-organized. The arranged for transportation to the venue, and this arrives on-time. When we arrived at the venue, they were ready with the requisite number of flippers (to check for size), water bottles (no plastic bottles in the reserve), and liability release forms (clearly appropriate for this kind of adventure). When we returned, I was impressed that our return transportation was there, waiting for us. -On board the ship and throughout the tour, our guides were extremely helpful. I want to call our Sugar in particular for diligence. I was overwhelmed in the snorkeling, but Sugar wasn’t put off, and helped calm me. Later, as my partner gained confidence, Sugar let my partner snorkel in peace, taking a life-preserver ring, but staying nearby just in case. There were six guides for 12 guests, a very good number. The guides often carried our phones, took photos/videos, and warned us of obstacles and hazards. The guides were quick to bring out snacks (fresh fruit) and drinks between stops. -The lunch was veggie-forward. I’m a vegetarian and often feel disappointed with non-meat options. But the lunch was veggie forward: two separate curries that featured only vegetables, a friend rice, and then even more vegetables. Carnivores needn’t worry, there was friend chicken, too. But it was a welcome change to not feel neglected as a vegetarian. -The scenery was amazing. There’s a reason it’s a national park! The beaches were pristine (small, but not over-populated). The hikes were minor, but the views were fantastic. There were also close-ups of reefs and wildlife on the snorkeling portions and cliffs and rocks on the kayaking portion. All in all, I have only great things to say about this tour. Highly recommended!

Took a snorkeling/hiking/kayaking excursion with 100 degrees east on Dec. 12 2023 to the Ang Thong Marine Park. Great experience overall - excellent guides and superb speed boat. It's a beautiful ride out to the marine park. They explain the marine life you will see while snorkeling. They are excellent photographers with your phone. The lunch was a home cooked meal that they have someone local in town make for them - tofu pad thai and fried chicken. The kayak excursion is fun and you go through some cool caves and they take excellent pics of you. The hiking excursion to the emerald pool was super cool - steep steps but such great photos and a stunning place. All in all an amazing day and would do again and highly recommend.

The best trip ever! We chose this one over a crowded boat tour with Ben & the team - everyone so welcoming. We made friends on the trip with another couple. The team were amazing preparing food, snacks, drinks, snorkel tours. The boat ride was incredible approx 10 of us. We stopped at a remote lunch location, after snorkelling, kayaking through the island & tour to the lagoon. It was by far the best day out. We were on our honeymoon and had a great time having photos taken & being able to enjoy the day. We were even dropped off to our hotel by boat which was incredible!! We were so glad we didn’t go with a busier boat which is 2+ people! The staff go above and beyond here to make you feel cared for. Good banter and downtime.

What a fantastic experience! We are a family of five (3 kids aged 4,6 and 9). We did the Anthong Marine Park. Cara was brilliant with the communication - helping when the weather was not in our favour and even offering restaurant tips for our location! The whole crew on the day were really welcoming and great with the kids. Ben deserved a medal for help with the boys when they got nervous snorkelling. So calm and patience. From hotel transfers to food everything was really well organised and delivered. The crews knowledge and humour was brilliant. The tour is well organised to hit the busy places at just the right time so you felt you had it all to yourself! This was a massive highlight to our trip to beautiful Koh Samui. Thank you 100 degrees east!

Amazing curated day trip at Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park. The crew were very proactive and passionate about what they do which all result in a fantastic experience, which was beyond expectations. Definitely the tour operator to go if you are considering the Marine park excursion!

WOW! A must use travel agency if you are going to Ang Thong. From our first email with Cara, we felt like we were in good hands. They give you all the info you need beforehand, pick you up at the hotel, and have speedboat on the beach right next to their office, so you don’t have to go to the crowded pier. We went snorkeling, had a beach to ourselves, they made amazing food on the beach, went kayaking and hiked up to see the lagoon. All this while evading the big crowds. All staff is very professional and English speaking. Big shout out to our fave Kola!👏🏽 The captain was also great, unfortunately can’t remember his name. We paid 5000baht per person for the day trip, and everything was included. A bit pricey, but great value for money. We do not regret a thing. HIGHLY recommended. Thank you all for a great day!

We had the most incredible experience with 100 degrees east. We went on the ang thong tour and would recommend it to anyone, super friendly crew and basically a private snorkelling experience due to the great instructor/guest ratio.

My girlfriend and I booked a tour to the marine park through this dive center and it was a truly amazing experience! My favorite activity during our stay on Koh Samui. Saw a lot of healthy and exciting aquatic life while snorkeling and free diving. Got fed a great authentic thai lunch. Enjoyed the easy yet scenic kayak paddle and got to see the emerald pool towards the end of the day when it wasn't too hot or crowded anymore. They pay attention to detail and cater for individuals needs and wants while taking great care of you. All staff are extremely nice and entertaining. I'd definitely recommend going through them rather than a bigger tour group.

We had a wonderful tour in Angthong Marine Park! The team was very friendly and extremely professional. It was great that wherever we went, we were basically the only ones there and could really take on the sights. Oh, and lunch was tasty too!

My husband and I went to Ang Thong with 100 Degrees East at the recommendation of our guidebook. It was the most expensive outing of our trip, but very worth the price (10k baht total for two people). The entire experience was breathtaking and lovely, made even better by the very attentive staff. Throughout the day, they offered us water, fruit, sodas, etc to be comfortable. We started our day with an hour long boat ride, where we sat in the front and enjoyed chatting with the tour guide, Ben. Our first activity was snorkeling once we arrived. We went with Chai, who was *amazing*. He took special time to help a child in our group who was nervous, and also dived down with my husband to show him a cuttlefish on the bottom. We also saw two octopi, some giant clams, a coin fish, and others. I can't say it enough - the snorkeling alone was worth the price! Once we were done snorkeling, we went to lunch on a beautiful beach. The lunch was delicious and the staff very gracious - all day, they pointed out "pro-tips" of where to sit, where to take the best pictures, special secret areas to see unusual wildlife and plants, etc. We kayaked after a relaxing lunch, and Ben showed us some interesting sights along the way to our destination - the Emerald Lagoon. There is a steep hike on the way up, but well worth it. Excellent photo opportunities abound, and the view was breathtaking. Chai took those who wanted down to the lagoon, where we had a special moment to appreciate the calmness and beauty. Chai was so great - he constantly asked for our camera to take photos of us, and did a great job. He was the best ☺ it was such a treat to learn about the park from him. The photos below are: 1) my husband and Chai 2) a school of fish we saw in a cave while snorkeling 3) the view from our lunch spot. We would heartily recommend this tour!

Great day out with an amazingly well run company. All of the team here are highly professional and so friendly. We had a great day out with just 4 other people and they made sure that my girlfriend was well looked after when they found out it was her first time snorkelling. One of the best days in samui!

Extremely friendly and patient staff. Took us to two locations with wonderful diving and snorkeling. On board lunch was also delicious. Maybe a tad pricey but we were going on a college, no job budget

We were looking forward to going on a tour with 100 Degrees East given the reviews (There was a whole thread on TripAdvisor where everyone overwhelmingly suggested them, which prompted us booking). Unfortunately my partner got food poisoning and we had to cancel last minute. Michelle was extremely understanding. Looking forward to our next trip here so we can actually tour with them.

  • 5/5 Kelsey M. 4 years ago on Google
THE best. Everything was run so smoothly and the staff were extremely kind. It was my first time snorkeling and I was a bit nervous. The guide suggested I grab a life jacket and hold on to a ring that he could pull me on. And that’s exactly what I did! It made me feel safe and relaxed which made for a highly enjoyable first time snorkeling! The kayaking and island hopping was great too. They have it planned just right so you miss all the crowds. Chi, our guide, is also excellent taking pictures that capture the moment. Be sure to ask for the classic pano (although I’m sure he’ll offer at all the stops)!

The staff was fun and knowledgeable. They were very instructive but not intrusive. The lunch was delicious and we enjoyed every part of our trip to Ang Thong!
