We just went here for the view and a drink. We were seated at the bar, where we waited for 15 minutes but all servers ignored us, so we left again. Bad service :( Note that you cannot see the sunset here, but nevertheless the view is great! Also the restaurant and hotel looks nice, although we didn’t tried the food or drinks, it seems good. I can recommend making a reservation beforehand if you want a good spot. Also note that the road is very steep, we noticed some scooters struggling. Should definitely be fine though if you have a 150cc scooter, maybe 125cc as well if you driving alone. If you are an inexperienced driver, take the shuttle.

Had a pretty bad experience with their staffs. I called to reserve table over phone twice but they said I can walk in, no reservation needed. And when we arrived without reservation, we were not important to them. We could totally feel the difference between the guests with reservation & not reservation. Even though better tables were empty and reserved for guests to arrive 1-2 hours late, when we asked can we sit at them as we had plans to leave quite before the reserved schedule, they didn’t allow us but allowed some other guest who also came without reservation (hypocrisy). Even though we had plans to for staying little longer, we left asap after being treated like this. We understand that tables can be reserved. No issues on that. But I think the staffs should be more trained on how treat the customers. It was the only worst service I had in Thailand. And I also checked that many have given quite similar reviews for Jungle Club. So I guess it’s a fact not coincidence.

Best view in town. Let me just say, I didn’t expect for such great service and great food! Everything was delicious and completely reasonably priced. The view insane. Such a great atmosphere! Staff very attentive! So happy we got to go!

Went for dinner here for out last night in Samui, beautiful views. There was a bit of a mix up with our reservation, but after a quick wait they had a table for us. Views are unreal from up there, definitely worth a visit. Food was good but the view definitely make the experience amazing. Our car wouldn't take us to the top so we got the car the provide... It was a journey, 🤣🤣🤣

Fabulous views like all the reviews say. Food priced to match, but for the views it was worth it. Easy to find cover and continue our drinks/food, even when a rain storm came in. Super friendly service, comfy relaxed seating options, wide variety of food & beverages on the menu. A bit tricky car ride up the hill....I wasn't sure if our little rental car would make it. Easy parking across the road from the restaurant. Highly recommend!!! For the review that says 100B shuttle each way isn't worth it, I completely disagree. He obviously has no idea how far and steep that road is. Had I known there was a shuttle I may not have taken the risk renting a car, in rainy season, driving on the left up such a steep and long road.

A very nice view over Samui after an extremely steep drive uphill. The nature has created a fantastic place for the owners/management to invest into to make it a paradise where the guests come back again and again. Instead, due to bad service, inadequately priced food and drinks and, in our case, a very poor variety for breakfast, you want to forget about the spot once you leave. Very slow waiters with bad command of English, an unfriendly and rude 'guard" at the entrance, who told me that next time I should be better reading their signs. There will be no next time simply because the service level is terrible and there are other much more pleasant places on the island with a more stunning view, but complimented with well trained and very polite staff. Nothing to remember and I don't recommend. Farewell Jungle Club.

No booking on arrival I didn't realise how nice this place was (you need transit up and down) . The pictures didn't do it justice. The feeling and set up is amazing, it was areal treat to be able to settle mountain side and eat some quality green curry. Able to get Beautiful pictures and enjoy the scenery.

We stayed at jungle club for 3 days, booked a room for 2 people, ate there and visited all amenities. I can say that we received a warm welcome with a fast and efficient check-in. Arrived in our room we had 1 spider, 2 cockroaches and a couple of flies but it is normal since we are in the jungle, my girlfriend called the reception to ask for assistance and they came with insecticide really fast to help, it was resolved really fast. The room was nice looking, comfortable and clean. The view is amazing, I strongly recommend but be careful with scooters on the hill. The staff from reception was truly gentle. I put 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons : 1- We don’t know why but we both got food poisoning after eating from the restaurant even tho the food was good but quite overpriced, and also at night the restaurant was too crowded. 2- The security guard looked rude But apart from these 2 smalls “situations” We still enjoyed our stay and are satisfied, so I recommend Jungle Club for Koh Samui and I thanks the staff.

Can't comment on the food as we just stayed for a round of drinks. Decor and lighting is stunning. The night views down towards the coast were lovely. Possibly one of the most unique restaurants I have seen anywhere. Book in advance if you want to visit for food. We had to wait 20 minutes at the reception area before being allowed to enter. I believe this is to limit the number of guests to the availability of tables and seating, which is fantastic as it enhances the experience for everyone. The drive/ride into the car park or drop off area is quite steep and twisty. Overall the jungle club is well worth a visit, and I expect sunset would be the peak time to visit 😊

We are so grateful for the music in such a beautiful setting, Ella Fitzgerald instead of techno music so many places play. Music was relaxing, stunning views, super steep drive up, but no real vegan options, but coconuts, guacamole and amazing olives got us by. Make a reservation during high season (recommended) esp for sunset.

Went for sunset dinner and was not disappointed. Al first, we were sat underneath tree branches. There were a few bugs while it was still daylight, so we asked to move to a table under a roof. Once the day turned to night and the air cooled down, there were no more insects near us. We enjoyed the delicious food and the drinks. Definitely recommend coming here for their cocktails! Staff were friendly and efficient.

We stayed 3 nights at the Jungle Club and it was great. We stayed in one of the “cliff” bungalows and the view was amazing. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful while the restaurant (we had breakfast there and one dinner) was also excellent and the view from there also great. Pool area is beautiful and lots of services available (e.g. renting a scooter directly from the hotel). Note that some taxis won’t accept to bring you up the hill but the hotel offers free transfers (5 min) to guests from the bottom of the hill. Going up / down on a scooter is also an (easy) option during your stay.

We came because we heard of the place and we were more than conquered. The view of course was amazing but the food was also good, it’s not just a pretty view. The juice in the coconut is exquisite, and the mango sticky rice with the little coconut sauce is perfect. Reasonable price. We booked (good tip = reserved) and we were very well placed. The staff was kind and welcoming. I really recommend this place if you come to Koh Samui ! (I didn’t book a room there but from the outside it’s beautiful and peaceful)

Food was extremely nice, very generous portions and fair pricing. Only downfall was the service, although it is a very busy restaurant, we had to wait 10 minutes to be offered a menu after being sat down, and there was a 30 minute wait on food. If you are patient it is definitely worth the wait though! Make sure you book a reservation to get in, otherwise you will be met with a large cue to get in!

Great spot for a drink or some food. Looking at previous reviews, we decided to park our bike at the bottom of the hill and get the shuttle service up (book through jungle book - 200baht round trip), at the bottom of the hill you’ll see a sign for jungle club pick up - a bike parking spot right there. Recommend booking if you want a spot on the red bags. The food and drink were on the pricy side, but expected - they add on a 10% service charge which I think is a bit cheeky. Overall a nice place to visit.

We decided to visit this place, as the day was windy and the beach was closed for swimming. The view was amazing. You can find a great variety of dishes here and the food was delicious. The climb up the hill was a bit steep with the scooter, but they do provide a shuttle service. The prices are on the upper side, but it was worth it.

We had the “Jungle Suite”, the room decor is incredibly beautiful and was a delight to stay in. The shower hot water and pressure wasn’t great. Breakfast is quite basic and you need to be prepared to take the hotel shuttle and taxis into town every time, as it’s up a very steep road. However, these are not real complaints in comparison to the sheer beauty of The Jungle Club itself. The restaurant had good cocktails and food and the setup is fantastic. The pool has an outstanding view that does not get old! It is so worth it. We will be back!

It's a must do for lunch or dinner, lunch would probably be better as they closed before we had the chance to order desserts which was disappointing as we sat down to eat at 7:30pm so not overly late. The view is stunning, cocktails are great. Not much choice of wine by the glass, huge selection by the bottle though. I would definitely visit again just at lunchtime maybe, hotel looks lovely too!

  • 5/5 Mike A. 2 years ago on Google
Really good food and a stunning view! There are a few really steep sections on the way up, just be aware of that. Call them and check if they can pick you up from the main street, sometimes that's possible. We made it on our motorbike, it's something to remember, too!

Great getaway place/feeling. A touch of paradise feeling. The view at breakfast is phenomenal. FYI - Your room (cabin) will have some "small visitors". Most common are the small (harmless) chingchok lizards in the bathroom.

Great Rooms. Nice pool. Great location — but the restaurant is chock full of douches. The insta scum of the entire island, are all plopped here. Food is great, drinks are not bad and service is generally excellent. But many of the other tourists…gross. And if you’re a filthy Insta reading this — well, I hope both your followers enjoy your BS.

Amazing place to sit and chill for few hours, we went there around noon and stayed for 4 hrs. Be aware of the high slope road to reach there. Don’t go with scooter lol... We’ve ordered vegan Pad Thai and they make it for us. No plant based milk and it’s better to have an option for vegans in the future. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Half of the staff was rude. Talking back in Thai as if we couldn’t understand them. They seems nice on your face but will say something disgusting to their colleague with a smile on their faces. I was stunned. Probably the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered in Thailand. It got me thinking, was I rude to them first? No, they’re just bitter about going to work and express their anger towards us customers. I’m never too proud to admit that I was wrong but what I gathered from the experience was I was being extremely nice to them. The view was pretty but it was painted ugly by the experience. Food was bland for my taste. The worst thing is, they were nice until you ordered your food. Once you ordered they can’t wait to kick you out soon after you finish your meal. I feel so foolish for ordering too many food that I can get so much cheaper with better taste and comforting ‘said’ 5💫 dining at Lamai than here. Just come here for their beer that’s ought to do. I’m sorry Jungle Club. I did not enjoy my time there. Please do better. You have so much potential.

Booked out a number of rooms for wedding guests for the week. The resort is unique and beautiful. The staff were super helpful and attentive. Slightly hard to get to (outside of shuttle hours) so we had scooters most of the week. Easy to organize through the resort for a fair price. Pricey menu but it has a great vibe and view. Thanks to the staff for making it a great stay, and solving any problems quickly and easily!

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of magical! The moment I stepped onto the property, I felt like I had entered paradise. The surroundings were breathtaking and created an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility. However, what really made my stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and collaborative. They made sure that all my needs were met and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The restaurant in the hotel is hands down the best in the area, with delicious food and impeccable service. I especially appreciated the kind waiter's served me during breakfast. She's warm demeanor and attention to detail made for a lovely start to my day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return for another visit!

Food is amazing and so is the location! Not only there's a great view and very relaxing seats, but also the outdoor temperature is always quite lower than sealevel, a very great place!

Visited the restaurant for lunch and it was such a lovely experience! The views were like nothing we had ever seen before and it was completely worth it! The drive up was a slow one for our two wheel drive car but we made it up the hill without any issue. For the food, it was just as amazing, very flavorful with many options to choose from with beautiful presentation.

  • 5/5 Anusha S. 10 months ago on Google
What a beautiful space! We stayed the night in one of the pool suites. The view at breakfast is breathtaking- breakfast itself wasn’t ideal with the set menu options (for me I like a mix of different items)- but the quality was still great and they had vegan milk options. The rooms are airy and open - with a lovely decor and such comfortable beds. Any issues you have, the staff are very attentive and helpful. A downside would be the water pressure - but that’s me searching for something wrong - it was manageable. The pool can get dirty if not switched on so ask for assistance to turn it on. Their infinity pool has a spectacular view and definitely get up for the sunrise 😍! We were also lucky enough to also watch the thunderstorm the night before. Grab a moped and ride around the island- it’s an awkward hill but if you’re comfortable it’s just add some of fun and ease of travel! 100% recommend this one !

I posted my experience on a Thailand Travel Group with pictures and got an overwhelming positive response. Many replied that it is now on their bucket list. This place has exceptional views and service. Contrary to a few other reviews I've read, the menu prices were very fair considering the value. I spend more for breakfast in the USA at McDonald's and for that amount I got to have breakfast in paradise 😋👍🌴🌴

Beautiful place with amazing setup and scenery. Staff are attentive and FYI you can only book via their form or calling. Do not use any other site or pay a deposit as this isn't legitimate. Difficult to access on a moped apparently so advised to park at the bottom (there's a little shop and a sign saying pickup point) then call the restaurant and they will send a 4x4 to collect you for 200baht return and it's about a 5min journey. The views were amazing at 6pm seeing the sun set. The food was nice but honestly our mains weren't as nice as I was hoping (truffle pasta and duck confit) Still well worth the visit

Was alerted to the existence of this place after a Facebook group enquiry. What a place. I drove up a few days before to try to book a table. If you decide to drive, be aware that the hill approaching the resort is unbelievably steep - no exaggeration. I was able to book a table, but it is a very busy place (no wonder) and had to adjust our timing expectations to a late lunch rather than dinner or lunch. We arrived, were shown to our table (surrounded by very comfy bean bags) and were informed that we had two hours: a decent amount of time to take in the views, decide on lunch and eat. Best Pad Thai I had in my three weeks in the country. My wife loved her Papaya Salad and the kids were very pleased to see pizza and other western favourites on the menu. Service was friendly and attentive.

We stayed for 5 nights in the Jungle Suite. Overall, our stay was amazing and would recommend the Jungle Club to anyone looking for a wonderful and personalised experience on Koh Samui. Pro’s: - incredible view - extremely helpful and attentive staff. The team went above and beyond to assist us with obtaining our test results from the hospital. We owe them a great deal of thanks, and any future guests can expect the same level of attentive service. - stunning room (very tasteful and luxe) - rooms are very clean and tidied well daily. - accomodation felt highly covid safe, as we had our own free standing building. - free shuttle up the hill for guests - beautiful resort setting Con’s - the free breakfast is terrible. It is served very late (only past 9am), and can take up to 40 minutes to arrive. The breakfast itself is essentially either poorly cooked egg or cheap white toast with overly sweet jam. Considering how lovely the jungle club is, the breakfast is a real let down that needs change (eg, granola, brown bread etc). Even though it is included, I would recommend eating elsewhere. - appeared to be a lack of reception staff and limited English spoken at times, making it difficult to get our point across. - the hill up is extremely steep, if you are anticipating renting a scooter you must be very confident in your abilities, the journey up can only be described as dangerous. - no pool towels in rooms despite having a plunge pool, leaving us needing to ask specifically for a towel every day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the jungle club. It was far more unique and memorable than a lot of commercial accomodation in Samui. Thank you so much for having us.

A view not to be missed. You can spend an hour or half day there just looking around. Good food nice drinks, staff ok. Didn't stay in the rooms. breath taking with no guard rails ha. Hard to get up with two people on an old moped but worth it. Very much worth it. Good view at whatever time. However looking at the pictures sunrise into the evening would be best.

Great restaurant! Everything was perfect. The service, the view, the food and fruit shakes. Prices were reasonable and even pretty cheap for some dishes. Only problem is the arrival to the place, but it was 100% worth it!

  • 5/5 Joerie R. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Super friendly personnel. I was the designated driver, but it is a perfect place for cocktails and enjoying the good life. Don't know about the food because we didn't have any.

Only ordered 2 softdrinks, you definitely pay for the view so it's more expensive + VAT that you gotta pay on top of the drinks. View was amazing but you gotta be careful driving here since its at the top of the hill and very steep way to get here. Wouldn't recommend if you're not experienced in scooter

  • 5/5 Dave J J. 2 years ago on Google
Great location top of a hill. Nice breeze cooler temperatures. Food was good and drinks really good. Prices a little high but a fun place to see. Friendly staff and a nice bar area. Suggest for an afternoon or evening drink. Bring some big spray as it's in the forests. Incredible views!

  • 4/5 Kevin P. 1 year ago on Google
You come here for the atmosphere and obviously the views, even at night it is still amazing. We had some pizza's which weren't the best, hence the 4 stars, but they were still tasty. Cocktails were good too. It is a bit pricey but it's part of a luxurious resort and with this view to be expected.

  • 4/5 Christopher W. 1 year ago on Google
Up a very steep hill (but can call their car to pick you up - not sure some scooters would make it easily). The view is worth it alone, but the food was pretty decent too. Did seem like some of the seats did get reserved (so book ahead if you want a spot with a good view in case it's busy). Did notice some of the staff a little rude though - one guy there alone wanted a photo taken and the staff ignored him, even though he asked a few of them, and they only asked if he was with a reserved table (even though he was still a paying customer).

a great view! But that's it for the positive! a very discriminatory club, recommended for alcoholics! However, if you want to chill and enjoy good food, you've come to the wrong place! The first time I didn't feel comfortable in Thailand and wasn't welcome. Bones in the burger... great overall package
