This happened on my last day in Thailand, iโ€™m a muslim and iโ€™m allowed to eat kosher. I entered the place as respectful as possible, greeted a few people and even had a laugh with someone. I ordered my food and received it on my table. 2 bites in a security guard comes to me and asks how iโ€™m doing and if iโ€™m enjoying the food, i told him yes i do, iโ€™m fine, how are you? The guard said you are muslim right? And are you familiar with the situation between Palestine and Israel? I said yes, of course i do, but why is that relevant? Then he asked my pasport for his boss and no obvious reason, so i kindly refused a few times, then he told me this is private property for jews so he indirectly told me to leave, I told him that i donโ€™t feel welcome here and that i want to leave because of this weird excuse, the guard started to push me into the chair the moment i stood up to leave. I made clear that he should not touch me and i want to leave right now because I have no appetite anymore. After that the guard kept telling me to stay and eat the food i couldnโ€™t even look at at that point. I told the security guard to go back to his working place and please donโ€™t say a word to me again, Iโ€™m disgusted! I hate giving these kinda reviews but it feel like i have to let people (especially muslims) know what theyโ€™re dealing with. iโ€™ve never been discriminated like this ever, This is my first experience with a jewish restaurant and iโ€™m afraid itโ€™s also my last.

Terrible people. They only help non religious Jews but they hate all other Jews! Our friends (religious Jews) came to Chabad in koh samui on Shabbat to get some food and they didnโ€™t want to give them anything because they "only have food for "Hilonim " (non religios jews)" and our friend had to starve!! On Shabbat! Shame on you! You should love every Jew!

Such a great place. Makes you feel like home and soo much welcomes you. That's probably the most cleanest and spotless place in Samui. The prices are ridiculously low. the food was tasty. the staff were nice. Even if you aren't a Jew or Israeli, I would recommend visiting there.

Friendly and very helpful. High prices compared to local food BUT you pay premium for Kashrut of course. Your home away from home.

The only really Kosher place in Koh Samui. Cute little spot for all the basic dairy options. Relaxing place for evening dinner outdoor seating with nice lighting. Kid friendly and date friendly.

Good dairy options. Preferred it over the meat restaurant and that's saying much since I love meat ๐Ÿ˜ Shakshuka had a nice spice to it. And served with a delicious challah roll ๐Ÿ˜‹ erev Shabbat... Mango shakes are so good.

Best food in Thailand. Warmest welcome. Also shabbat here is a MUST. Most amazing experience to see them happily cater to sooo many people (800 people when I went). Judiasm at it's best!

A really nice place to connect with other Israelis traveling in Thailand, while enjoying a nice shabbat meal and singing. Nice to see Israelis get together, religious, traditional , secular all in one room enjoying shabbat together with no stigmas. The large number of people who cone to shabbat meals can be a little overehelming-hundreds of people. But still quite a positive experience which leaves you feeling full with good food and a warm feeling of being with a large extended family you never knew you had. Unfortunately, no something you often experience in Israel where people tend to focus more on differences than on trying to connect with all Jews.

Excellent food and excellent service very good price for the only kosher food in Koh Samui. Food took 7 minutes to arrive which is incredibly fast by any standards. Over 9 days we tried almost every dish and couldnโ€™t flaw any! Additionally there was a minyan 3 times a day. Thanks Chabbad.

Great place for Jews to meet up and eat kosher food in Koh Samui. There is a large viriaty of options in the menu. There are clean bathrooms and computers that you can use for free. On Shabbat the meals are free, and there is no need to sign up in advance.

๐Ÿ‘ Good, tasty food for a great price. Portions are very large, and hummus and falafel are very delicious. Of the minuses, the interior of the restaurant and there is no separate area near the entrance for smoking. Everyone smokes exactly at the door and when you go out, you get into a cloud of smok...
