Was recommended by a friend to come here for the quiet, calm and lovely rooms and service and they were not wrong. The place is lovely. My room was bliss, with my own little pool, huge bathroom, huge bed and walk in closet area. The service is good, they go out of their way to assist you. Breakfast is particularly good. The local staff and the European manager are good and helped me with airport transfers and an Elephant Sanctuary visit. Ideal for an escape, just come here and relax, I did!

We stayed here on a last minute holiday to Koh Samui. Having not been to the island before we weren't familiar with the areas. This property is approximately 40 minutes from the airport at the opposite end of the main centre Chaweng. It makes for a great location to have a rest and to enjoy and embrace the facilities at Avani. We had a 2 bedroom beachfront villa with our 3 children. The rooms were impressive. Very calming and modern decor and the pool was a great size for us all too. The rooms were large, the robes were ample and the bathroom was light filled and clean. The resort didn't have other children we could see during our stay so I would probably say, if you like an adults only resort, you could be content here as the villas are private and the main pool often had minimal guests using them. There is a specific 'adults only'pool too. We did hire a car to get us around the area and are glad we did as we dis stay for week. If you were visiting here as a short stay and seeing other places on the island, you will need to note that it's a minum 30 minutes to get to Lamai and then a further 15/20 depending on traffic to Chaweng. We drove around comfortably and it allowed us to do little pitstops and self guided tours at our own pace. The fitness facility was sufficient too. With a combination of free weights and machines all in excellent working order and condition. The staff throughout the resort are AMAZING. Very friendly, professional and accommodating. You will definitely be looked after here. We had a beautiful stay. Should we return again to Koh Samui, we will stay at Avani+ again. It was just fabulous. Romina and family.

One of the best resorts, different room styles, well maintained venue, welcoming staff, rooms with privacy and private pools, amazing nature around the area. The only downside is the beach water, this area of the island doesn't have a clean/clear water, and not feasible for swimming at all, but that doesn't ruin the experience, since you can take a boat from the hotel to another island with clean shores and very clear water, many islands around.

Nice small 4-star hotel with great service and comfortable room with great decoration. I actually like the minor hotels chains in Thailand anyhow. This place in Samui is superb. I stayed in pool villa, it was a very spacey villa with a good size pool. Very clean and comfy. I love everything. The breakfast was so good, too much good food that I like. The room amenities were good. We couldn't expect more. Love the place so much. Will come back again.

Great hotel..fantastic service..most of the time. The beach is a write off.. you cannot swim in it.. pools are really nice..rooms are clean..food is so-so. Staff are super nice.. The security guard is the nicest guy on the planet! Special thanks to him.

Just returned from a long weekend with the family at Avani+ Samui. Beautiful resort with an amazing team. Stayed at a well maintained villa with private pool, and one of the best equipped mini bars I have seen. Extensive breakfast offerings and delicious dinner plus a fire show on Saturday evening. We will be definitely back!!

The best hotel for relaxing but definitely need a transportation to go to the city. They have a free shuttle bus to two areas only. I booked a Villa with a private pool it’s beautiful and very nice for couples and the staff was so friendly and perfect

All in all a very nice stay. We got a lovely welcome and the hotel was very beautiful. Our room was big, clean and very nice looking. We went on a long tail boat trip arranged by the hotel. This was very cool. The beach outside the hotel is not very nice. We wouldn’t swim in the water as it seemed muddy and had some oil spill from the boats.The beach is also full of litter washed up from the sea which no one had cleaned up. But they have two very nice pool areas. The staff was very welcoming and polite, but we sometimes felt it was hard to make contact with the waiters in the restaurant while we ate. They would disappear into the kitchen and be gone for several minutes.

Hotel are is great! Breakfast ist more than good! Dinner Is ok, would love to have bigger portions accurately to the price. Service is high standard!

Quiet place to rest, discover the sorounding and enjoy peacefull sunsets. Before I start I dont get why people complain about the beach it is white clean and has an amazing view. The bay calms the sea so that you can do some activities like using Sup or kayak, which are complementary offered. First I was amazed by the kindliness and welcoming of the staff. The service here doesn't lack anything and is making the small inconveniences very much bearable. The location is not for visitiors that want to explore clubs bars and the vibrants of a city it's for people that like the quietness, nature and want to get in touch with locals instead of meeting the same persons like at home. The facility is held good in shape and besides some minor issues that where fixed or compensated immediately. I can recommend you taking a complementary bicycle and explore the surrounding.

Beautifully quiet part of the island, so 5 stars for location for a quiet getaway. We came for the weekend for a 40th birthday treat and were spoilt rotten. Beautifully decorated villa celebrating the occasion, wonderfully attentive and friendliest staff you could ask for... the memories we have will last forever. The villa was impeccably clean and the food was healthy and the coffee pods in the room were recyclable, together with a recycling bin. ♻️ We will be back again for sure! 😍

I have been to other Avani's but this was a different experience. It's on a beautiful beach and is for peace lovers but the draw back is that it's far away from the main city and airplane. It takes 1 hour to reach to the airport or main city. I didn't got any porter service as the security person helped me in carrying my luggage. Rooms of Avani are good but I would say this one is a bit less spacious but the pool with room is good. So, if you are a peace loving person and looking for a quite beach then it's the right place for you.

My husband and I stayed in this property at Koh Samui for 2 nights when we visited Koh Samui in May 2022. Before I talk about the environment of the place, I must mention the names of the staff there who made our stay extra-special - Ms. Waew from restaurant (she is very very warm and motherly), Ms. Suay from restaurant, Ms. Nong, both receptionist and a spa specialist, Ms. Pen, another spa specialist, Mr. Pop from the bar (this guy is one charismatic individual), et al. The place is very very beautiful with serene environment, picturesque ocean view, excellent feel-at-home hospitality. The food quality is excellent too but very limited variety. Their drinks options, though, need a special mention, don't forget to try their homemade mango sorbet, coconut shake, coconut ice cream, etc. If you are looking to be away from everyday hustle and bustle of city life and if you plan to visit Koh Samui for short weekend trip, choose this property. You won't be disappointed.

Avani Plus Samui Resort - Hidden Paradise of Koh Samui I stayed one night at the Avani Plus Resort located on Taling Ngam Beach Samui. Avani Plus Samui Resort is a five-star resort with 58 attractive rooms and villas. Some hotel reservation sites say it is a four-star resort, but it is a small resort with five-star rooms, facilities, and services. Quiet beaches are also classy. It feels like a Hidden Paradise in Koh Samui. I carefully checked the rooms and facilities while staying at the Avani Plus Samui Resort for one night. The room is very complete and has a five-star or higher environment. The friendly attitude of the staffs is also excellent. What impressed me was the security staff at the resort entrance parking lot. The guard was very kind, and it was a rare example to come up and say, "What can I do for you?" when a guest seemed to be looking for something. It was impressive for a security guard in his 40s or 50s to treat guests with a sense of responsibility like a hotel owner, not a staff. The resort is not big. The resort has a variety of facilities and many items of buffet as breakfast only when there are many rooms. Avani Plus Samui Resort is difficult to recommend for travelers who want a variety of facilities and abundant breakfast. It is a wonderful resort that is recommended for travelers who want to forget everything and relax on a quiet beach. In particular, it is an ideal environment for travelers who pay more than normal attention to the room environment. The resort is not big, but it is elegant, nature-friendly, and motherly resort.

We had a great stay at this resort, the rooms are great and the staff are excellent. The staff were very helpful and one staff in particular , "Fah" - she was nothing but excellent. the only downside to the resort that it is very far from everything, other than that, everything was great!

The services are great, private and not too crowded. But it may need to trade with the conveniently as a bit far out from the airport. The beach may not be the best, but good place to do activities and just lepak.

The Avani+ resort is amazing. The staff works so hard makes everything wonderful for you. Specially, Waew, from the restaurant team is incredible. We spent a week there and they made us feel like family. The are some of the nicest people we’ve ever met traveling. The food was great, but a bit pricey. The cocktails are fair priced and amazing. Our room was amazing as well. Definitely a 5/5.

Fantastic resort for those who want to relax and enjoy the quiet south of Samui. Definitely worth a visit, small and very personal resort. GM Stephan and his team are doing all what it needs to have a great time. Will surely be back.

Amazing hotel! We were greeted with a fresh coconut on arrival from the airport after being picked up by one of their drivers. We then got the negative test result from the app they tell you about on arrival where you can order food etc. Lots of staff that are very helpful and friendly. Room is perfect and there’s a couple of pools and a beach on the doorstep. Highly recommend if you’re looking to chill!

Secluded island escape away from the hustle and bustle of daily life surrounded by tropical views. 2 nights away from the city with nothing but the sounds of the breeze in the palm fronds, a chilled drink and some amazing friends provided the perfect detox for body and mind.

The Avani is more than a boutique hotel but manages to retain the friendliness of a small hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel's greatest strength is the individual units. They each have their own plunge pool and the design achieves total privacy allowing each guest to enjoy the cleverly designed accommodation undisturbed. Two good swimming pools give you the chance to burn off some calories

Nice room with exclusive swimming pool. There are outdoor activities such as bicycling, kayaking, and SUP board paddling. We enjoyed kayaking along the creek near the hotel.

The staff at Avani are exemplary. They go above and beyond to offer caring, attentive, and customer-specific service. They made my time at the resort wonderful. The private pools in each suite are a fantastic touch, and the two shared pools scattered across the resort are also charming, great places to enjoy the hotel scenery and endless views of the ocean. The beach on which the resort is located isn't easily accessible and requires a level of bravery to venture out into. I did so quite a few times but could see how and why other guests may have found it a disappointment. If you're nervous about taking a dip, do rent a paddleboard or canoe and explore the surrounding areas that way. You are sure to enjoy it!

Very cosy hotel, friendly staff, healthy food. You shouldn't go there for the beach, but for the activities (kayak, cycling, boat tours), a clear environmental sensitivity, healthy food and the diversity of scenery close by. I highly recommend.

I was with my family for a wedding ceremony of our near relatives recently. Every event of the wedding went smoothly and efficiently with the close co-ordination of the event management and hotel staffs. I liked the quiet environment of the hotel location and very friendly hotel staffs.The nearby beach area is another plus point.

It was our first time in an Avani Hotel. If we come to Koh Samui again, only to this hotel. What GM Stephan and his team do here every day is simply amazing. The room we had was very nice with a view of the sea. The complex is not that big and it is very family friendly. Despite being fully occupied, breakfast is very relaxed and quiet. We would come back to the hotel at any time 👍👍👍
