Unforgettable Coastal Retreat My recent stay at this remarkable coastal hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The attention to detail was evident throughout the property, from the impeccably clean rooms to the stunning ocean views from the private balconies. The hotel's amenities were exceptional, with a variety of activities to choose from, including water sports, yoga classes, and even guided nature walks. The staff's warmth and professionalism added a personal touch to my stay, making me feel truly pampered. Without a doubt, this hotel exceeded all my expectations and left me with unforgettable memories of a perfect seaside

We had a wonderful time with our 11 months old son at The Beach Samui. The best feature is the team there: The staff is simply fantastic! Everyone was super-friendly, helpful and open - you can really feel that it’s a great team working together, who all enjoy what they are doing. They all knew our son by name after a while and were greeting him every time we met, which he really enjoyed! Even though we planned to stay only 4 nights originally, we ended up extending and stayed there for over 2 weeks - our time was incredibly relaxing and memorable and we hope to be back soon. A few other facts about the hotel: The rooms are equipped with full kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, etc…) which was great for preparing baby food. The pool is nicely done, however on the smaller side - but enough for a good refreshment and also has a shallow area for kids. The hotel has a great Thai cuisine restaurant next door, and there‘s also plenty of other food options within 5min walking distance (Italian, French, Seafood or local fresh noodles or rice options). There‘s a 7-11 just opposite of the hotel where you can get drinks, water, ice cream and other groceries. Parking is available in front of the hotel (we had a car rented via the hotel). Overall, we fully recommend The Beach Samui and wish all of the team only the best!

If you're searching for a little piece of paradise, look no further than this fantastic hotel. The location couldn't be more perfect, with direct access to a pristine beach and crystal-clear waters. The hotel itself is a haven of tranquility, with beautifully landscapes and a peaceful ambiance. The staff provided excellent service, always going above and beyond to ensure guests' satisfaction. The suite was stylishly appointed, offering all the modern comforts one could ask for. Whether you want to relax by the pool, indulge in spa treatments, or simply enjoy a sunset stroll on the beach, this hotel offers it all.

Nice hotel in a rather quiet location in a not so touristic part of the island. Ideal place to relax and explore the island. The hotel is located directly on the beach of a small fishervillage. In the immediate neighborhood there is a 7/11 as well as a few really nice restaurants. We had scooters during our stay to explore the rest of the island. Tours with one of the longtail boats or speed boats can be started directly from the hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. Each room has its own balcony with sea view and even a bathtub on it. There is also a nice small pool and sunbeds directly at the beach. But the best thing about the hotel is actually the super friendly and helpful staff. Whether ordering food, renting a scooter, a boat trip to Ang Thong National Park or our onward journey to Koh Phangan, we were always helped in the best way! So we had a really carefree stay despite of Corona which makes things a little bit more complicated. Definitely recommend and worth a stay!

We decided to go and visit some of the hotels on the island of Koh Samui before making the decision to book or not to book the next week in a 4/5 star hotel. We are only providing the reviews on a visual and first impressions feeling not on actual stay. The Beach samui is located in a remote location where you can kick back and relax but do not expect much beyond that. Self catering appointments that are spotless, large and well maintained..... We inspected the penthouse suite (the only one available) so we were told. The apartment felt like it should be in Miami's south Beach not in Thailand. View was absolutely amazing.... Beach was little rough, required cleaning... We saw two couples in the whole time we were there. Great place to maybe use as a stop over for one or two nights but not a week. Negative..... We asked if we could refill our water bottles, request was denied! Staff attitude and service makes up the difference between resorts if they are on the same level of rooms, villas and grounds quality... Sorry you lost us on that portion of the rating.

Staff are lovely! We checked in late, and they helped us organise a transfer from the airport and also dinner! Our room was perfect. Ground floor with access to the beach and pool from the back. Had aircon, which is a life saver. The room is clean with good wifi. The restaurant food is excellent! It was one of the best pad Thai we had. Would recommend it to all. Did a cooking class with Chef Nui. It was a wonderful experience! She was a very good instructor and funny! My wife had a blast at the cooking class. Would definitely come back again. Very good value!

We really recommend this hidden gem in southern Koh Samui is a romantic escape! Our two-floor suite offered breathtaking views and a balcony bathtub for a cozy evening. The beachfront dinner and breakfast in bed added to the charm. With attention to detail, service, and relaxation, it's the perfect spot for a romantic vacay ⭐️

I was booked for a pedicure treatment, cost ฿1000. Sadly discovered they are not setup properly for doing pedicure. I was taken to a massage room and given a hard upright chair to sit on. A person was brought in from outside and a round plastic bucket with warm water was used to put my feet in.....not a foot spa. The "pedicure" consisted of cleaning toe nails and very quick nail file and then painting of toe nails. Nothing like a bit of foot massage, foot scrub, using footfile to remove thick skin from heels and ball of feet was done. The experience lasted 15 to 20 minutes. Not worth the money and not something I would recommend to anyone.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, stunning views and a beautiful comfortable boutique hotel, this is definitely the place for you. We really enjoyed our stay here after some weeks of traveling. Staff is very thoughtful en friendly. Pool is small but adequate for the size of the hotel. By taxi you are everywhere within 30 minutes. Big recommendation for this. Tip for the owners: give your staff English lessons. It will improve your service. Doesn’t cost you much.

Wow, what a beautiful, romantic spot - a stunning hotel with the most perfect sea view! The way the rooms are designed gives you a sense of privacy, making you feel like you're the only people there. Great for couples. We used our time here to reconnect and have some downtime on our honeymoon. The staff were warm and welcoming and the suite was prepared with sweet red roses to make our stay feel extra special. There's a list of treatments available that are well worth the treat - great massages and the milk bath is a really luxurious experience, particularly at sunset. Definitely recommend that! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side while we visited. Although this can't be helped, it did highlight the limitations of the location. With the sea a bit rougher, boat trips were a bit of a bust, and while the bay was beautiful, its not ideal for swimming due to the coral rocks and boat paths. After a couple of days, we found that this was quite restricting to us, so its worth knowing that unless you have your own transport, you will spend quite a bit on taxis to get to alternative beaches, sites, and towns to explore, as very few group taxis make it that far down the island. Once the area has blossomed further (a couple more restaurants, perhaps a bar or two, tour operators, and other services) it will be perfect. Otherwise the hotel aesthetic, staff, and the level of care taken for guests is 5 star.

We stayed here for 9 nights at the beginning of June! Here is the reason why we loved The Beach Samui! 1. The friendly staffs, they helped us with everything, from booking our spa day treatments, helping me find medicine for an insect bites, tried fixing our rental car and dealing with them on the phone on behalf of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we made lots of memories with you. 2. Location! We really enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere in Thong Krut, we hired a car from the airport, travelling around the island from The Beach Samui was easy, you can drive around the island just over an hour. 3. We loved watching the long tail boats every morning and eating our room service breakfast on the balcony (I miss this a lot) 4. The In House Herbalist team, thank you for all the information and guidance 🙏 You can order from your room on WhatsApp and they will deliver to your room within a short period of time, I'm sure we only waited 10 minutes for our delivery. 5. Food! We had room service's a few time during our stay, chefs we are missing your food. 6. And lastly the big spacious room, double shower, and a bath on the balcony. 7. 7/11 just outside our hotel, perfect for stocking up snacks and Ice cream.

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. The cab transfer from chaweng cost us 700 baht. The property is exactly as described in the hotel website. Absolutely delighted with our stay. The tub on the balcony was special. Restaurants were just beside the hotels. One 7 11 store is just across the road for getting drinks. The views are outstanding, the rooms are so clean and bed is very comfortable. Completely enjoyed our stay. Even though it is located in not so busy area, phantip pick service was available to drop us to the pier in the morning.

We absolutely loved our stay here - so much so that we ended up extending our trip! The rooms were lovely and clean, bed nice and comfy, decent air conditioning. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout our stay and staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend

This place is fantastic! We loved every minute we spend there. The staff was amazing, they could help with everything we needed. So friendly all of them. There is no food in the hotel, but that is no problem because the staff gave us some great recommendations, we got nice breakfast from around the corner and the best Thai food we have gotten on the island a little down the road, so ask the staff for food recommendations. The only thing I could say was the beach was a little rocky, the pool was great tho. We would definitely come back if we ever come to Samui again!!!

Very good hotel just at the beach, with friendly staff . Rooms are huge, we didn't expect two floors for us! Tub on balcony is amazing. Rooms were very clean. 7eleven is just opposite the street, you can do your own breakfast in room. We extended our stay 3 times ! It was awesome!

We really liked the quiet area around this boutique hotel. There are a few restaurants and bars scattered about, very much a low-key beach and active boating vibe. Lots of locals in the area, which is refreshing. Have to watch all the beach and street dogs when out walking, for the most part they are friendly but you never know. The beach has some garbage outside the hotel beach area (hotel cleaned every morning and evening). The pool is tiny. The rooms have wifi issues, and it would often go down, so that was annoying. The room has a big problem with humidity, constantly felt damp even with the AC. You can hear all your neighbor's above and adjacent so not well insulated. Road noise and staff talking in the parking area, is audible from inside the rooms. Rooms and beach beds close to LA Coppola have a sewage smell. Nice aesthetic to the hotel in general, big on design, especially enjoyed the location, but the rooms are showing their wear and are smaller than they appear in photos. Staff was nice especially liked the security guard outside.

Very modern and large room, nice view, peaceful, very professional and friendly staff, we love the moment of the sunrise and sunset from our balcony, we stayed 4 great nights here, the only thing that could be improve is breakfast… the taste was not good with a small portion, the price is quite expensive (it’s not a buffet). The hotel is close to a small local port from which you can hear some noise coming from the boats quite often on day time. That did not really bother us though, it is part from the local life after all…

Very nice! Not a swimming beach but I’m not a swimmer. Loved chilling on my room patio and the cabanas. I came simply to relax and that is what I did here. Not crowded with people. I will come back with my visitors since I live in Thailand. The price was more than most, but I thought fair for what you get. The location is opposite of the touristy areas, but that is what I wanted for a few days. The beds we’re comfortable and it was clean and felt luxurious.

The hotel is amazing. All the beautiful details are to the highest standards, really polished finishes and attention to detail. The bath tub on the balcony is particularly relaxing after a long day in the sun. Staff were all wonderful from the resort manager Rung to the front desk staff and all the smiley support staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and the turndown service in the early evenings was a great touch. Many thanks for the wonderful stay and I'll highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fancy, relaxing getaway 👍

We absolutely LOVE spending time here, home away from home, walking distance to wonderful restaurants, even some local doggies to keep us company. A very convenient store across the road to stock up on drinks, ice-creams, snacks, fruit, sunscreens and wasabi peas!!

This is a fantastic hotel on the less touristic side of Koh Samui. Friendly staff !! The rooms are very comfortable with a beautiful seaview. If you like the better boutique hotels, this is certainly a hotel I would recommend.

Very nice and quite place. Very recommended for couples or family with older kids I would say because it is a place to come down, read a book, think about life, enjoy a shake. Nearby great bars to also have a drink or eat in a beach atmosphere. Only nice people come here. You can go with the kajacs or have a bicycle from the hotel, too! Nice sundown, very great idea to sit in the bath on the balcony and enjoy the last hours of sunshine and say the day goodbye

The staff are extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome, and the hotel itself is very comfortable and in a quiet part of the island so easy to relax

Amazing hotel removed from the hustle and bustle of the tourist zones. Situated on a quiet beach with wonderful rooms and staff, I highly recommend this hotel! Korn and Fai in particular went above and beyond to welcome guests and made the place feel like home. Lots of restaurants nearby and opportunities to rent motorcycles and cars within the hotel. You can also go on a day trip to two islands or rent a kayak. Kitchens are available in the suites but grocery stores are far removed. A 7/11 is right in front of the doorstep for necessities.

Beautiful, peaceful place. Staff so kind and friendly. There are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood. And I am scared of dogs. So did not walk around much. Great experience.

We had a pretty average experience - we arrived late at night (around 9:30pm) and were quite bummed to know that the Hotel does not have a restaurant and all the places around were already closed. They mailed us about the facilities and if we needed a cab but nothing about the food. Would be great to mail the guests about the same especially when they were arriving late. Also I would rate this more as an Airbnb than a hotel coz for a hotel they had zero amenities. The property is named as beach but it's against the dock so it gets really shallow and it's rocky. Lastly the staff at the checkout was rude, she wanted to check the room for amenities before we left. She wasn't warm or courteous.

This was the best hotel on our trip to Ko Samui. The interior of the rooms is well designed, everything’s super clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. This place is for you, if you’d like to enjoy a quiet place to relax. The massages are also excellent. Only recommendation to the management: The complimentary rental bikes are not in the best shape. Maybe they can be replaced.

Who would have thought that you can still find such an idyllic place on Koh Samui? If you are looking for a quiet and authentic place, you are absolutely right here. If you still want to go among the people, you can reach e.g. Lamai Beach within a very short time. The hotel is very well equipped. It does not have its own restaurant, but in walking distance you will find various restaurants. I can also highly recommend the Italian restaurant right next door. Our room was equipped with its own kitchen, which is why we mostly cooked ourselves. We are already looking forward to coming back to "The Beach Samui".

Room is nice and clean. You can have a good sea view from your living and bedroom. The hotel located in the south of Samui which has a local and quiet vibe which suit for true rest.

we came to Samui and stay here for first 3 nights to relax. Only 15 to 20 mins to Koh Mat Sum and Koh Tan by long tail boat.

Away from the busy part of the island a beautiful place to stay and relax with a good choice of places to eat and drink. Boat tours leave from your doorstep and the staff are very helpful friendly and attentive

  • 5/5 David B. 1 year ago on Google
A little drive away from Lamai and Chaweng and all the nightlife, but if your looking for peace, tranquility and spectacular views, like us then this is the place to be. There is a small 7/11 across the road and beach restaurants just a few minutes walk. Highly recommended.
