🫤 I have to disagree with some of the previous reviews. To call this a beach is somewhat generous (photos don't lie). There is very little beach here, the sea coming almost right up to the properties along this stretch of coast. Sure, there are a few attractive restaurants and accommodations here, but... People often mention beach, Samui,

I have to disagree with some of the previous reviews. To call this a beach is somewhat generous (photos don't lie). There is very little beach here, the sea coming almost right up to the properties along this stretch of coast. Sure, there are a few attractive restaurants and accommodations here, but my overwhelming impression of this area is that it's a bit run-down, dilapidated, and in need of some investment/restoration. There are some deserted plots along the beach. I'm only trying to help others choose an area on Koh Samui to stay. Don't come here, go to Lamai; for me, the best overall area to stay on Koh Samui.

This beach is heaven. Believe the hype! It’s almost never busy and absolutely no tourists in sight. The beach is super clean, beautiful water, Palm trees all around, and relaxing. It is a bit shallow so you will have to walk out pretty far to swim.

I shouldn't share how awesome this beach is because it will get busier. This beach is a gem, sandy shores, clear water, and generally not a person around. Over 2 hours, we might have seen around 5 people. There's also a bunch of restaurants on the beach that are affordably priced. The tide goes out during the morning/early afternoon so it's great for sitting in the water but not much for swimming until later afternoon.

The room was very nice and clean! we had our own fridge and were able to get some stuff from the supermarket in order not to spend so much money! The beach was right across the road so we could wake up and go jump in the sea :-) Nice bungalows still a bit under construction as they were fixing the garden around when we were there but we enjoyed our stay a lot! If you prefer to be right in the city then it s a bit far you will need to travel like half hour to get to the busy towns but we preferred to stay at a quiet place so we loved its peace and quiet!

Beautiful beach, not crowded at all but the water is very shallow and you‘re therefore not able to swim properly because of the reef. I would recommend Maenam beach..

Not the best for swimming because it’s very shallow and has a lot of rocks but still very nice and quiet

Stay (ed) here during low season for one week it's a great beach which enables long beach walks und perfect sunset views. The range is quite low so you can stay there quite cheap. The beach is cleaner then most we saw on this island. But it's the same with the building sins. Everything is rotting away. Some buildings are already down the rest is on the the way. That's very sad, especially for that pretty beach. ....

Quiet but lovely. We ate at Hug Samui which was next to Bang Po beach. Beautiful sunset.

Very Lazy beach. Nice bungalow’s at the beach front or just a fee steps away. I love this place and it’s very easy going.

Health Retreat Samui is a wonderful place to do a detox, cleans, fast , weightloss program. Situated right on the beach with it's stunning views. Sunrise at one end of the beach and sunset at the other. Dr. Mantas special green juice combination recipes are well known. Ad is her acupuncture and herbal knowledge for any imbalance.

Long quiet beach....north end of Samui...never crowded as several kms long....bars and restaurants dotted along the beach.. more so at the west end. Over looks Koh Phangan to north and Marine park islands to the west. . Good sunrise and sunsets depending on time of year and weather!....Tide can be low during summer months. (April to Sept) as it is with all beaches on Samui during that period.. Quiet beach.... suitable for those who don't want crowded beaches! Usually no pesky vendors trying to sell you something! Last two photos taken in November, much higher tides, not really suitable for swimming.

A beautiful family beach on the north west coast of Samui. It's much quieter than the island hotspots like Chaweng or Lamai and has fewer facilities and activities. But that means its never crowded and there are no jetskis or pounding hiphop beats either.

Bangpo Village has beach front bungalow and forest bungalows. A lovely place to enjoy the beach. Many local restaurants within walking distance.

Love this place. Quiet, private, serene. The beach is beautiful, and it seems like you get it all to yourself. It’s good for swimming, and relaxing with a good book. A few good local seafood restaurants around to try as well.
