Nice resort on a excellent location. Quit area but everything is nearby. Also one of the best beaches on the Island. Very friendly staff that provides outstanding service and will always do their best.

My room stank of cigarette like somone was smoking in the room while I was inside it, I told them and told me they would fix it only to use a candal and insens that really did nothing. I also booked a double bed but when I arrived there where 2 single beds, they did put them together to make one big bed but because of the fact that the table dividing the beds are hardwired to the wall they made my bed in the middle of my room, this meant I didn't have a back bord to sit up against and took up loads of space in an already tight space. To walk towards the busy part of town will take 25-45 minutes walk if you don't use transport. As I had a late flight and I checked out early they where willing to look after my suitcase and collect it later from the hotel

The regular room is in a different location, it's outside the hotel area...(that's not so much fun, but if you ok to walk and ok with a small room it's fine) We ended up paying more to get upgraded to the beach view room. We couldn't cancel our original booking so it is like we paid for 2 rooms(they couldn't lower the price as on the website and just let us pay the difference..) but even though we paid for 2 rooms... it was worth it. The room is great, and the view from it is amazing. The beach is clean,(they clean it all morning and all day) The pool is amazing, we loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is far from the busy area. But 50baht per person and you are in paradise. We enjoyed it very much. If you compare it with the First House hotel, take the First bungalow! Worth it.

First Bungalow resort on Koh Samui is quite a good hotel, right on the southern end of Chaweng Beach. They used to have more bungalows, now only a few on beach front. Most guests stay in the hotel rooms, with most rooms looking down on the pool. I've stayed here 2 times, and many other places on Koh Samui, but this is the biggest and best pool I've seen. It even has an island in it. The rooms are quite nice, with balconies, and the buffet breakfast is quite good, offering both Thai and western food. You can even ask the chef to prepare your eggs any way you like. The beach is beautiful and not as crowded as the center area. Chaweng is quite a long beach, and could take you all day to walk it with the occasional stop for a beer and lunch. Might have to take the bus back. There are many nice places to stay on Chaweng beach, but this was one of my favorites.

We booked the bungalow with beach view for 3 people which made some difficulties with the payment. The reception wasn't very helpful with it either. The TV only had 3 free channels which were hidden between the 800 different channels. On top of that the TV went out every other minute along with the wifi. The beach was very nice and clean as well as the swimming pool. The breakfast could be better but it was okay for the four days we slept here.

Located adjacent to yellow beach, for budget travellers do not book beach side villa rooms instead could book rooms in First bungalow hotel and could enjoy the beach without the need to pay more for villa. Good service and great value for money. English breakfast and Thai food, ATM and a convenience store, koh samui activity booking office is available near entrance of the hotel.

Picturesque bungalows on the beach. Make sure you spend a little more to get the ones on the beach than the poolside ones. Lovely clear water, but there are sea lice, not too much of a problem though, just itch if you swim around as opposed to wading. Breakfast is reasonable and changes each day. Rooms could do without the bathtub and replace with a better shower. Good fridge in room and cleaning service is excellent.

Great location if you have a beach bungalow. The room and patio are great facing the beach, just 1 step and you have the beach and great views. However the bathroom is dated so do not expect too much luxury. Also downtown where the main shopping and restaurants are is minimum of 30 minutes walking. There are restaurants more close by within 15 minutes walk. It is nice that you are not close to the bars etcetera but sometimes not. The waterfront was great for 4 days in a row with still water and the pool is huge and very clean.

A hidden gem in Samui ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป The beach is pristine and the ambiance is amazing. A perfect place to have a relaxing moment here. Hotel is nice and very clean. The beach front bungalow is recommended.

The hotel is dated, but rooms are spacious. Nice pool, the hotel is not directly on the beach, unless you have booked the bungalow. Breakfast is ok, not much on offer. Would be good if they offered yogurt/ a few Thai food for breakfast Beach isn't a swimmer friendly beach. Staff are very friendly

This is some kind of quiet horror. Booked this hotel through Booking. There was a special offer from Agoda's partner. It was written that the price includes breakfast. At the hotel, I began to explain that breakfast is not included. He asked the room with one large bed, gave with two small. In the evening after returned from dinner, electricity was turned off in my room. Although all the rest of the hotel it was. Well, the fact that the same bed was the main mattress, even somehow mention...

Front staff were a little rude. The aircon in our room was noisy and not cold at all. We managed to get another room the next day. Overall the rooms were quite old. For the price , I think we could have a better hotel room .

It is recommended to book a bungalow with sea view, but pay attention during check in, there is two lines of bungalows. Itโ€™s better to have the first line. Rooms are in an average condition, but itโ€™s still ok.

Beautiful resort on the sea shore with the pristine ocean on one side & the mountains at the back. The lay-out is expansive & the beach happens to be a private one. The sea most of the time remains calm enough in this part with the odd rough day. The ocean facing bungalows provide for quite a sight & are the most sought after rooms. The rooms are of standard size but the amenities therein might leave one a bit disappointed. It is advisable to carry a three pin adapter. The sanitary fittings seem to be from another century & definitely need an immediate upgrade. They often leak as well. The television present is an outdated one & there are no international channels on offer with reception quality being very poor. The pool is a fairly large one although not an Olympic sized one. The food is quite good & the breakfast spread sumptuous but not lavish. But one would be tempted to explore the scores of restaurants near the resort than have a meal here all the time.

I can only advise everyone against this "resort". I don't expect much from the hygiene standards in Thailand. But to charge so much money for what you get here is scam. Although our room was "checked" the beds were dirty. The shower was without function... but at least there was warm water. For a normal-sized European, it will be difficult to squat in the bathtub to fan the water like a Stone Age man. The staff was unhelpful

Did not stay in hotel but in sister hotel First recidence. But from there able to use the sunbeds at the chaweng south beach. Very nice place, near first bungalows. Can order food and good drinks to beach chairs. Friendly staff.

Great vacation spot. It's a bit aged so have that in mind but the location is unbeatable. We stayed beachfront and it was great waking up to the ocean only 3-4m from the front door. (One stormy high tide it was less than 1m!) โ›ฑ๏ธ The restaraunt is generally reliable for staple foods almost any time of day however.. Our one big concern is the breakfast buffet was very disorganized and the food was often cold or old or left in very unsanitary conditions. (The ham.. stewing in lukewarm dirty water was vomit enducing) ๐Ÿคข ๐Ÿค• ๐Ÿคฎ . The juice.. oh man.. either pure sugar or water.. i'm not sure why that is difficult but they need to set some standards. This is slightly redeemed by the egg station making nice made to order omlettes. Location can't be beat if you want some peace. Short walk to town for dinner or jump a taxitruck (100 baht). Fresh air and peace was our takeway.

Stayed in a beach front bungalow. Absolutely beautiful views from the porch. The beach is perfect and the sea is very calm and sir clear. The bungalow itself is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious with a great selection and staff were always very friendly. This place feels like paradise. Would definitely stay again and recommend first bungalow resort. I would recommend spending the little bit more for the beach front bungalow

I can't recommend this place. They try to pull money for everything. Me and my disabled son (6years Not good Walking) tried to Pass their ground in order to Go to the beach. They forbidden us and asked for 200 Bhat...Shame on you!!! By the way, asfar as I could See, the bungalows and the entire facilities are far away from the published phots in the Internet ...it seems they are Not completley recovered from the Corona Break.

It is a big complex. Right at the end of the main beach. So you do have access but to a tiny portion of the beach. The rest belong to other resorts and there is no direct way to keep walking all the way down to the beach (or north). Reception is 5 stars and the facilities too. The restaurant is 30% to 50% more expensive but the food is not great. For the price of this resort I would say it is a good place to stay. Not expensive but good quality service and dependencies.
