New location just down the beach, with a new restaurant area. Rice paddy and other crops, plus lotus pond! Is now open. They've been busy with the new location, some minor work.still in progress, but nothing to spoil a visit. The new location has a nice feel and great vibe, sunset views, non intrusive music... Friendly staff! Good selection on the menu... prices are reasonable! Friendly welcome and good service! Located on lovely beach too! Can have great sunset ! They also have resort bungalows.... Open with reduced hours and menu, while the CV 19 restricts visitors from overseas. Still worth a visit during this period. Sunset can be good some evenings..

This is an exceptionally well located restaurant for watching the marvellous sunsets that occur on Koh Samui. It is a rather 'cool' place with people coming to enjoy the 'Happy hour' taking advantage of the reasonably priced cocktails while watching the sunset, and then stating on to eat there. The menu is extensive with something for everyone and again very reasonably priced too. There is a very relaxed atmosphere about the place and the youngish waiting staff are very friendly and helpful. There is parking for about 10 cars only, and on-street parking is not a good idea here. I rate this as my second choice as the venue to watch a good sunset. Highly recommended.

I visited Koh Samui so many times , but I never eat so delicious Thai food anywhere else. Best Thai food I ever eat !!! I-Talay also offer in menu good choices of Italian authentic delicious food . Do not waist your time and money anywhere else, this place for me is best restaurant on the Island 👌👌👌 And one more important thing prices are not expensive 🤗👍👌👌👌

I really liked the atmosphere and the food, was very fresh and nicely presented too. We saw some nearby tables ordered pizza which looked and smelled good, but we didn't try it so I cannot judge. Our margaritas were also very nice! I would have given it a 5 if the mango from the sticky rice wasn't that sour really too sour and the prices a little more in line with the nearby places.

We visited here twice for food and drinks during our short stay in Samui. The staff were super attentive, friendly and helpful. The cocktails were delicious and great to enjoy during happy hour at sunet. A really delightful place to chill out on the beach front. The food was also very good and reasonably priced. Overall a really perfect spot for enjoying sunset

RESTAURANT REVIEW This is an idilic beach restaurant and bar.  Like being in paradise.   Incredibly relaxing.  Amazing sunsets - world class.  Great for lunch or dinner. The food is great.  We had several great Thai dishes.   Service is also excellent. A fabulous restaurant!

Luxury experience for a really cheap price. The bungalows are directly on the beach, I fell asleep to the sound of waves. The views are incredible and the beach is very beautiful, and quiet (we had it to ourselves many times). The bungalows are extremely clean, nice fresh bed sheets, soap and shampoo provided, and functioning A/C. They made art with trash that washed up on the beach and they had an incredible lotus flower pond. On top on that the staff is extremely kind and helpful. They even lent us their own motorbike when we needed to run a quick errand. 10/10 stay, my only regret is that I can't stay longer! Thank you so much I Talay team!

Stayed in the cottages, number 6... Wow what a place! If u want a chilled few days without the tourists, this is the place to go... Amazing location, they rent scooters for 300 baht a day, if you want to explore..Noi the masseur is knowledgeable, reasonably priced and friendly.. The huts are basic, really clean but on the beach, just fabulous, and the restaurant is reasonably priced, convenient, and tasty.. However! Now for the not so good... We would have stayed longer than 4 days but the mattress would not let us... Incredibly hard.. The staff are amazing, hard working and long hours... But just about every meal, we either didn't get what was ordered, or were charged for something we didn't have.. More a language barrier than anything. As the restaurant doesn't open til 10am and shuts at 8pm, they really need to put a fridge and kettle in the room... If only for water and keeping extra beer cold.. I'm English, so a cup of tea was definitely needed in the morning and last thing at night, but no facilities to do this... Would I stay here again, definitely yes.

Great ratio of food quality and price! Definitely recommend to take coconut and any local cuisine or very good homemade pizza. They also provide a live music (2 x week) and the stuff is really friendly. This restaurant offers a great combination of swimming in the sea and having a great romantic dinner afterwards. One small recommendation to the owners - you might take cleaning the tables more seriously ;)

Wow, this cafe is so big. The view is so beautiful, it's stunning, and the food is delicious. Strongly recommend.

Very peaceful unique, spacious and affordable restaurant right at the beach. The food was delicious and not super expensive. Excellent, friendly service. Love the set up of the place in general, as a beautiful escape for relaxing and enjoying the ambience. This is paradise in My opinion. Thanks for having us 🙏🏼

Excellent drinks (the Singapore Sling & Watermelon Shake are a must try), tasty food, warm people, the ocean at your feet and a splendid pond beyond the terrace... We absolutely love the place and cannot wait to return!

This is not a 5 stars, do not expect luxury rooms. Rooms are very simple but the luxury is in location and experience! Super friendly staff and helpful. Sunsets are amazing here and amazing beach 5 meters from doorstep! Highly recommend it!

Very magical place. No frills but great food and cold beer. A lovely view of the ocean + sunset and a magical floating garden at the back with a few art pieces. If your looking for somewhere a little off the beaten track that you will definitely remember then check it out!

Gorgeous, clean little cabins, beautiful beach, the friendliest and most helpful staff (the owner lent us his bike on multiple occasions). The food is also really nice! Thank you so much for having us. 10/10 would come back!

Good, relaxed restaurant next to an quite beach. The pizza here is relatively good! Standard dishes are ok. Waiters understand barely English… for ordering is fine. Overall a nice place to eat something quick and enjoy the beach!

Very bad burgers, both chicken and beef burger were dry and tasteless, no sauce at all. Went there a second time, Thai food was ok and the service was much better around lunch time. Also nice beach access.

When it is windy in the rest of the Island this place is a calm gem. Rough and ready but loads of character good place to watch the sunset right on a deserted beach. Swimming not too great however due to weed growing about 30 yards out from beach.

Got the tamarind fried sea bass and the stir fried morning glory, it was delicious and had a great view sitting right on the beach.

A "something strange" spot right on the beach for a cold drink, that's it, nothing more. The food there is really overpriced for the quality and portions you get... no need to go there for that. There are nicer places with better food on Samui... we won't go there anymore.

I don't recommend western food. Poor and expensive. I ordered salmon with fries and they gave me a piece of about 50 grams with 10 skinny and short fries. 10! almost cry. My friend's thai food was good. The place where it is located is very beautiful.

Restaurant is nice for sunset the beach is quiet but there was a lot of mosquito we can’t even stay we ordered mango lassi was very tasty but they put garlic in Lab that’s just weird anyway they are taking a good care of the beach

Came back after five years not being here, knowing the place as it was before. The place changed a lot, the service and food are good, though a bit at overpriced rate, but what I missed the most was the full beach access and space on the sand. You could freely bath in the sea and lay down on the beach back then and have a food and drinks there at a Thai-style beach restaurant. Now you have the terrace, which covers most of the beach space and access. The whole place looks more tourist oriented and beach-club style. Not bad, but I prefer the old setting, not mentioning the late reasonable food prices.
