Currently staying here and have been locked out of my room for 4 hours. Staff are useless and unhelpful. The door is broken- even when they replaced the battery in the lock, it worked once and then broke again. I understand that problems happen but what is most disappointing is the way they have handled it. No apologies. No assistance. And still... A broken door and a room we are paying for and can't access. I asked to speak to the manager and he refused, and front desk staff refuse to even give me his name. My husband spoke to him and he said 'i better fix it before your wife blows up at reception again'. Yes, I am angry. No I have not been rude. I am furious that nobody seems to think this is a problem... Back and forth I walk from reception to the room. They come back and fiddle with it, it breaks again... Just give me a new room!

Stayed here for 4 nights in December 2023. Room was small but clean and were cleaned daily. Shower had good pressure. Comfortable bed and pillows. Air conditioning worked great. Nice swimming pools. Nice view of the sea from the pools. Very helpful and friendly staff. Gym was ok and clean. Good location.

The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly, they are trying to accommodate any needs you may have. Pools are clean, bar open til late, close to the private beach. Weā€™ll definitely stay here again! Thank you Ibis Samui Bophut!

The team around the pool looked after me so nicely. I was greeted, brought towels, menus, informed of specials. The food was great and the service spectacular. I will be back.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are cleaned every day and in a good condition. The Hotel itself is open concept, you only have aircon in your own room. The hotel/garden and pool are very well maintained. Skip on Breakfast, its not good. I enjoyed my time there, good value. Recommend it especially for Families.

Stayed there for 1 night. Not good for the price paid, very small room, no toothbrush toothpaste provided, something that you find in all budget hotels at this price. Had to rush to get them from nearby 7-11. Breakfast was decent though and the location is good as the property is beachfront and has many shops nearby.

booked room online to pay upon arrival. Arrived and told by Pom to cancel my booking and she could rebook with better rate and room upgrade. Agreed to do so but the room upgrade was the room I had booked originally! Comfy bed, nice ocean views. easy walking around. Nice to chill with a complimentary Chang.

Room is easy, but not clean properly. You can smell toilet through circulate air-con. I donā€™t even try breakfast because group student activity the day I stay. Itā€™s budget hotel if you like to just stay and go, ibis is recommend, but if you want to chill out a pool, peaceful, beach, itā€™s not here

High quality for low price! I couldn't find fault with this hotel real value for money. The rooms are similar to what you get in a premier Inn (UK readers will know what I mean) with a safe,Air con,Sat TV, balcony, fridge, hair dryer and walk in shower. Hotel has a good pool area with plenty of sun loungers ,has a poolside bar and you can get a massage here too. Its located right on the beach. The breakfast has something for all tastes and appetites eggs, sausage, baked. Beans etc plus local dishes of rice and noodles. As well as fruit, cereals, pastries etc juices and an egg station for omelettes. This hotel is about a 20min walk to fisherman's village for night life/restaurants(tip cut through the wharf for a short cut-this is also where the night market is Fri and Mon).

Rooms small and basic. Has air con. Has beach front location. Meals and drinks more expensive than outside complex. Nice breakfast. Staff super helpful and friendly. There is a laundry room which is handy if you are traveling through. Small gym. Cocktails and massage available next to swimming pools. Nice garden area. Small play area for smaller kids and a table tennis available for free

Nice place to stay at. The area is near the Fishermanā€™s VIllage. Beach side was really nice.. Waves werenā€™t that strong. Nice and quiet to walk by the beach. Sand was really soft. I recommend you to wear shoes while you walk on the sand because I saw some glasses in the sand. Threw them straight away just incase someone might get hurt.. Services, breakfast were all superb. Had to take one star out for the room smell. It was something like a damp smell. There were no fans in the washroom. So I guess the smell came from there. I told the staff and the staff sent another staff to our room. He came in and sprayed perfume or something in the air-conditionerā€¦ā€¦. No comment for thatā€¦. The floor wasnā€™t really cleaned. There were juice drops or liquid drops on the floor. Iā€™m sure it wasnā€™t cleaned. There were other dirts on the floor. So I had to mop them out. Just had to stay there for 2 nights. But if I think of the price, itā€™s a nice place to stay. We stayed at the suite room.

Honestly Ibis was a dream. Hereā€™s why: 1. Ocean side hotel, 3 pools, bar and massage by the ocean (I mean come on! Getting a massage with the sound of waves in the background?! So good!) 2. They have around the clock front counter support and all day long 8-10pm to book day trips or rentals etc. 3. Room service is good! 4. Gym is small but function able! 5. On site laundry. Need coins though. 6. Within walking distance of many restaurants and fisherman night market! (A must see) 7. We found prices of food/drinks a bit steep but convenience outweighed costs. 8. Happy hour rocked! But 1 get one free from 11-12. And 5-6! Their smoothies are delish! Honestly canā€™t complain about anything! We didnā€™t get breakfast included but 200B wasnā€™t bad for the range of food and the quality.

My stay was a pleasant one. However, the small flushing hose next to the toilet bowl needs reviewing. It is not a smooth hose considering the difficulty of ues as you need to exert sufficient strenght to control it. I would think that this problem is inherent in this particular brand.

We had 4 days stay here and everything was lovely. The room is clean and enough space for 2 persons and 1 dog no extra charges which is great. My dog really enjoy the huge garden and all the staffs are so nice to her ā˜ŗļøā˜ŗļø the location is perfect, the hotel itself is next to the beach with good coffee shop nearby and the fishermanā€™s village just 5 mins away on bike. Definitely return with more friends next time šŸ˜š

Great location, friendly staff, very clean rooms. What I did notice is that there aren't any extractor fans in the bathrooms (I noticed that at Ibis in Bangkok also). The restaurant is clean and comfortable, they serve a good breakfast. The bar and pool area has a spectacular ocean view, and only a few steps and you're on the beach.

I enjoyed staying 6 nights at Ibis Bathut. The rooms seem a little run down, but that is not easy to maintain because the air humidity is high. The area around the pool and the beach is beautiful. The workers make sure that the grass and flowers are very well cared for. Very nice, kind and helpful people work there. I want to give a special thanks to the receptionist Molly. She took her time and helped me print some personal papers. I also want to thank the room cleaner. If I had the chance, I would come again.

Stayed here for five nights while in ko samui and it was a good value. The rooms are pretty small and the balcony really doesnā€™t offer much room for hanging out. The bean bags and loungers by the pool were nice, but the beach out front isnā€™t the best for swimming. Nearby to fishermanā€™s village, which had a great night market. We explored most days and didnā€™t spend much time in our room, but would stay elsewhere if we wanted to spend more time relaxing at out hotel. Staff were friendly and beds were comfortable. Our room did have a smart tv as well, which we used once when the rains were passing through.

The restaurant service was great especially from the staff name Nick. She's very polite and attentive. Though the restaurant don't have many halal food, you can eat fruits and have coffee while admiring the ocean breeze and peaceful scenery from the restaurant The beach is clean and nice to hang out at. Pool area is so fun. Hotel have coin operated laundry. This does makes my travel easier. The rooms are very very basic for the rates given it should be improved. Beddings quality standards have to increase. The rooms I got, only 2 pillows or a double bed and when you sleep you can feel the mattress spring coil. So basically its a basic hotel with a high price rates.

Great hotel in a stunning setting. Amazing value for money. The food is exceptional and the staff are brilliant. Excellent cocktails at happy hour by R, Arm and Sor. Toni the manager looked after us and was a great laugh. Stayed here 5 times now, love it.

This was a great stay. Close to fisherman's village and loads of shops around. A very nice beach area and 3 pools (1 for adults only). Breakfast was very nice. Rooms were small but we didn't spend much time there. Laundry room and service available on premises and you can rent car/scooter from the lobby as well. The restaurant was just a bit pricey compared to little restaurants around the hotel. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend.

It is a beautiful hotel, located right on the beach. the beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous and they also have massage services between 9 am and 6 pm, the price starting from 400 baht per hour. The rooms are relatively small but very clean and well-maintained. Hotel staff also kind. very well located for evening walks. They also have 3 swimming pools with a bar

Best Ibis hotel Iā€™ve ever been to. The rooms are spacious, clean, hotel service is top notch. Nice swimming pool and bar service with two happy hours per day. Our hotel host Priew took very good care of us everyday and as a French frequent flyer Iā€™m glad to see that the standards of Accor Hotels are met worldwide, if not better. The Ibis Samui truly offers amazing hospitality.

The room was nice looking. However... There is a TV which you can't use because they don't have any cable connected (I even asked) so I used to hang my clothes šŸ˜† I could heard my neighbour puking in the middle of the night, also any convo they were having, lucky for me I fall asleep quick and deep after. The receptionist are doing just their job but are not as nicer than other guess hotels, hostels and so I was in... The nearest beach is only nice for the pics. Overall the place is just OK for pics as it looks nice but i would not go back here. Luckily I checked the breakfast before paying for it, and I didn't have it šŸ’Ŗ It is a bit of a walk to find places around the hotel... So you better rent a motorbike... Good luck!

This is my 3rd time stay at this hotel. It's a budget hotel but great at its value.(Don't expect much).Staff are really friendly and helpful especially Khun Molly, front desk agent is really attentive to get me a room as I arrived earlier in the morning, really appreciate it. Breakfast is ok. Not much choice but good enough to start your day. The menu for all day dine is variety and great value. Beach bar is nice and over looking the ocean view. Bar staff are friendly and good at their job.

I had a good stay in this hotel, the swimming pool is magnificent with 3 different pools seen on the mother. The cocktails are super good, the food too and a big thank you to the bar staff who are great. Thanks for R And Priw.

Nice beachfront location with loungers overlooking beach, rooms are so-so, not luxury but clean, awful pillow...I cricked my neck from the pillow on the first day and was in pain all weekšŸ˜‚ Staff were helpful mostly Beach bar was surprisingly good and not expensive, with good food and drinks. Great coffee, 80 baht for ice latte... In town it's 120. A shame that the beach bar/ restaurant only opens 11;00-20:00. They were very strict and didn't want to serve me one day even though last order was at 8pm and I was there a few minutes beforešŸ§ But the food was nice... They should just open until 22:00 as it's a nice place to chill in the evening! You need a bike to stay here, walk to town is hot, 20 mins along a busy road. Wi-fi was good mostly, all in all, good for the price.

A little gem. Not as I expected an Ibis to be at all. It is a tropical hideaway, set on a beach with really friendly staff. Play ground for the kids. Good, reasonably priced breakfast.

The room is small but provides all the basic function. Friendly staff, affordable price. Downside: 0. room is damp and dark and you can ignore the balcony. 1. the nearest beach is not ok, small and not clean, don't even bother to walk down to the beach 2. internet sucks, especially during night 3. can hear next-door's TV 4. all the plates and cups used for breakfast are really dirty, but this happens once as on the second day everything looks clean. I guess it happens when you join breakfast too late. Overall I feel the cons are too much even with this price. It's ok if you just stay here for a few nights and won't be in the hotel at daytime, otherwise I'd prefer to spend a bit more for a nicer place.

In short: Very damp and cold rooms. Staff were extremely helpful in trying to find solutions, but we still cancelled our 8-night stay. We walked into a freezing cold and DAMP room. The walls were damp and the sheets and blankets as well. Terrible conditions for sleeping. The room was extremely small, dark from tinted windows and unwelcoming, not to mention the pea-sized balcony. We shut the air conditioner off. We came back a few hours later and it was no better. The room had no chance to warm up or to dry out. It felt like a dark, cold cave. We brought this to the attention of the staff. They showed us two more rooms, and they were the same. Damp walls, damp bedding. Ice cold air. We went back to reception, and they sent a mechanic to "take a look at the air conditioner". We then were suggested to set it to 28 degrees celsius, rather than the standard of 15 (WHAT??), but the air that came out was still very cold. Shutting it off didn't prove to help either as humidity only increased, and it didn't warm up anyway. We went back to reception the next morning. They offered to upgrade us to a sea-view room. It was bigger, and had a view, but it was damp and cold. The manager was kind enough to meet with us and offer us a 50% refund, even though we booked through agoda under a non-refundable policy. (our mistake, and our loss). The staff attended to our requests and provided different solutions, some which might have pleased other guests, but really weren't worth it for us. In the end, we are relieved that we could get a partial refund. It's a shame that the age of the building is showing like it is. Also, the rooms didn't show signs of mold, they might have all been painted over. -- But all over the rest of the hotel, there are massive, growing spots of black and green mold on the walls and ceilings. The staff were more than kind and helpful, but the building needs a lot of attention.

Room was really nice 2 minutes walk to the beach. Nice area. 20 minutes walk to fisherman village to night Market. Nice parking lot, stuff was really nice and friendly. They do have music night on Friday. Overall nice place to stay.

We are very disappointed in the hotel. We booked and paid for accommodation, transport and PCR tests in December. Borders then closed for us, and we had to postpone. When the borders opened, we had to sandbox in Phuket and could not go to this hotel. We have asked, begged and pleaded to at least get our PCR money back, and am still struggling, 2 months later. I hope somebody of higher authority reads this and assist, as this is really very unproffesional!

Stayed at Ibis during our second week of quarantine. This was in the Samui Plus program in August 2021. We loved our stay, it was extremely affordable, breakfast included, and right on one of the nicest and most quiet beaches on Samui in my opinion. Due to not having many guests, we had the pool to ourselves most of the time, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was simple, and as common in Thailand, the beds were a bit hard, but overall the stay was amazing value for the price we paid. If big resorts are to your liking, I would recommend staying here!

Good hotel, the beach and the pool is nice. The location regarding the busy road outside is not the best. The room was small and dark. There are better hotels around the island with better location and prices.

A great place on Samui if value for money is important. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Building and grounds are well maintained and pools are clear and refreshing. Unfortunately not everything was perfect.... Some amenities weren't availablešŸ™„

Great place and very affordable. The pandemic has been hard on all the resorts on Ko Samui. The resort itself is beautiful and located right on the beach. Needs a bit of TLC around the grounds. The rooms are a bit small but have everything you need. Getting a bit dated so it may be time for a refresh. The pool bar was closed so no beers by the pool. 7-11 close by so I brought my own. The restaurant has amazing food. I ate the green curry and hot and sour soup. Both were top notch! Restaurant close at 7pm so go early. May be sure to staffing shortages. Looking forward to trying more of their dishes. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Made me feel very welcomed.

Stayed 7 nights. Room comfortable and cleaned daily. Decent bathroom and good shower. Pool and beachfront area well maintained, relaxing and pleasant. Communal areas of the hotel comfortable and also well maintained. Did not eat at the hotel as lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff are efficient and helpful. Overall, a better experience than I expected.
