$10 a night for a beachfront view? Ummm YES!! I had a great time at the Chill Inn Hostel. The bar has good food and drinks at reasonable prices. It was a pretty busy at night too so that was fun. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The beds were comfy. The hostel itself is very stylish and trendy with beautiful sunset views. You'll probably want to get a motorbike/scooter to get around while you are there.

We got our food at different times so we could not eat together. This was strange because we were the only guests at the restaurant.

Chill Inn is an excellent choice for you if you are looking for a budget-friendly hostel in a prime location with great food. The rooms are clean and all amenities such as WiFi and so on are fine. Special shout-out to the small cabana-like thingys near the bar where you can just lay back, overlooking the ocean while enjoying a great Mai Thai. Heavily recommend!

Staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more friendly. Location is just outstanding! So many benefits of staying here overall a great experience staying here will definitely come again and recommend to a friend

Loved my stay at Chill! Few steps from your bed and you’re in the water. Bar is great and easy to meet people. Staff were super helpful organising taxi’s etc. a good spot if you wanna get out of the chaos of the rest of the island.

We went to the restaurant several times for dinner and, in addition to the delicious cocktails 🍹, always tried a different dish from the menu. The food always tasted super delicious! The restaurant / hostel is located directly on the beach and is totally cozy. We were always welcomed nicely. Definitely recommendable!

Place to be! I loved my stay at Chillin Hostel and ended up staying almost a week. The place is directly at the beach and you have a beautiful view from your bed in the dorm. It's a great place to hang out and meet people. The owner Mike is super helpful with anything you need. He took me to some waterfalls and showed us a hidden bar which is stunning (directly on a rock at the beach). He also has some nice plans to improve the place and make it even better. It is also possible to rent scooters there and it has a restaurant & bar where you can have delicious burgers, padthai (some other meals) and drinks. Loved it. 5 Stars. Would definitely recommend and come back anytime! ;) Thank you, Mike!

Good for drink or basic Thai seemed ok I only had a drink but presentation was good and alcohol seemed quality ( some places serve local liquor of dubious strength and flavor) nice quaint view over water but basic tables outside as you would expect from hostel accom cafe .

It’s a great hostel with a stunning view over the sea from the rooms. I really enjoyed my stay and definitely would recommend this place if you are searching for a hostel on Samui with great people. I extended my stay twice! The owner Mike is super friendly and helpful and showed us around on the island. Try the beef burger at the hostel - it’s amazing. We stayed at the chill inn just before Christmas for 2 nights and had an incredible time. The owner, Mike, is personable and approachable and takes care of his guests - he gave us a map and reccomendations of where to visit, as well as his mobile number in case we needed support. The hostel is stylish, well looked after and clean, with comfortable beds and fantastic views right on the beach! All staff were great. The food menu was great too! We will definitely be visiting again.

Myself and 2 friends stayed here for 2 nights. We would have stayed longer except that the 4th person in our room was up all night throwing up and we don’t want to stay with him another night. The hostel itself is very nice. We wished there were a shared fridge to put food. We could put food in the restaurant fridge but then it would be locked at night and we couldn’t get it out till the next day. It’s nice that they have a kayak and paddle boards to use. The outdoor area is very nice. Lots of places to lounge and overlook the water. Overall, very nice stay. It’s a relaxing hostel. Not so noisy and it’s nice that it’s right on the beach. If you’re wanting lots of fun things nearby, you’d be better off staying further to the north side of the island. But if you want a quiet and peaceful place, this is a great place!

Absolute amazing place to stay. Was only supposed to stay for a couple of days, but that turned out to the waay longer. Loved all of it, the location and the staff were outstanding!

The staff in the Chill Inn were incredible for the duration of our stay, super attentive. The location is fab too, right on the beach with lounge chairs, hammock, bean bags etc!

The most amazing hostel with the best music, the best food (especially the spring rolls), right on the beach. Rooms are very clean and comfy. The owner Mike is a legend within the hostel community. He will make you feel like never leaving Samui. Highly recommended!

Great hostel ! Everything is super clean and new, great place to chill, 5min by scooter for Lamai, you have the sea just outside, really great view from the rooms... Plus Mike the owner is really nice, tells you the best places around the island to go to, can rent you a scooter really fast, helps you if anything happens... Met some great people over there ! During the day the sun hits the rooms real hard but there's the AC so no problem at all Downside during my stay and why I don't give the hostel 5 stars : one night a birthday party (not of the guests) happened, very very loud music (my bed was trembling) until 2am, we couldn't get any sleep. I understand that it is a usefull income, but it was not respectful of the guests sleeping just upstairs from the party and wanted a "Chill" night But it was only one night, otherwise the hostel is very very cool, people are very welcoming and nice, all the facilities are clean and new, and the view is amazing !!

Lovely hostel, the food was great, location is beautiful with the sea right outside the front. I had an accident in the sea and cut my leg badly on some dead coral, the staff were absolutely brilliant, they were with me within minutes with a first aid kit to clean my wound and get me bandaged as best they could. Irish lady I'm sorry I forgot your name, amazing job of looking after me and keeping me calm. Then the owners gave me lifts to and from the hospital, both Ren and Chris were really lovely. Thank you to everyone at Chill Inn, you were so kind 😊😊

We had a wonderful stay at the chill Inn Hostel. Mike, who takes care of the hotel, gave us a super welcome and you immediately feel at home. The rooms are clean, the food tastes very good and the location right by the sea is a guarantee for great nights. If I am in Ko Samui again, I will come back.

Absolutely loved this hostel, was sooo sad to leave. Was my fav on Koh Samui! Amazing food and super good atmosphere, met a ton of cool travellers here. Staff was super helpful and friendly :) 10/10 would recommend!

This place was amazing. The staff was super nice, very helpful and offered great tipps on what to do around the island. Everything was clean and did get cleaned every day. Also a great place to meet other travellers.

The location on the beach is nice, but you cant swim there and there was a Lot of rubbish in the Sand. The rooms Had a good size and the lookout is very good. The staff was Just okay For us, the food was one day really good and the next day Not. They did Not clean the bathrooms in three days.

Really great hostel ! Right on the beach, they provide paddle boards and a kayak for you to use which is so nice. Water machine is also available, and mosquito repellent is given (you need it haha) only issue was my room didn’t get any type of wifi, so you had to be in the public area with the mosquitoes if you were wanting to use it. The shower was warm the first night, then cold the other 2. Unsure why though ! Most of the staff didn’t speak English very well, I tried to book for another 2 nights but apparently it wasn’t possible to do so from the receptionist ?? Because of this I did end up booking at another hostel on the island in a different area, closer to the fisherman’s village and more restaurants as there isn’t a whole lot around Chill Inn hostel. Would recommend staying in the 8 bed dorm as I saw the 10 bed and it looked VERY tight

I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone :) right on the beach and has its own bar & restaurant (with happy hour 😉) so a great place to chill out and relax. Lots of social areas to hang out and the hostel is also super clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time here. Will 100% stay again if I’m ever back in Samoi :)

Impromptu visit to this hostel due to sudden downpour. Food is decent. Ordered beef burger and the taste was pretty good, will be better if the beef patty is less salty. The pork basil rice was a bit salty too 😅 Hostel staff are friendly and approachable 👍🏻

Such a wonderful place to stay. Right on the beach with great views. The owner Mike was so helpful and welcoming, he gave us lots of recommendations to where to go on the Island and nothing was too much trouble! All the staff were super friendly, bedrooms/bathrooms were very clean and the restaurant was great! We will definitely be back!
