Awesome spot on the quiet side of Koh Samui. Nick was a great host, picking us up from the airport, sorting us out with scooter hire and loads of local recommendations. Well worth a stay compared to the ‘touristy’ side of the island. Affordable price too!

The best hotel in Thailand so far (2 months traveling). I booked for 2 nights, ended 7 nights. You will feel like in your own house not in hotel. Great owners and great place. Highly recommended!!!

Rooms are comfortable, air-conditioned, cleaned daily, with Netflix on flat-screen TV, super refreshing pool, and 5G internet in the jungle! What's most magical about Samui Hills is the impeccable service of our hosts Joy and Marco. They always go above and beyond to provide the best experience to all guests. They're extremely easy to get along with, always inviting guests to come along for dinners in town, and if Joy is cooking something, you'll always be offered a taste (and it's always delicious). The nearby scooter rental shops were all empty on the day of my check-in, so Marco drove me all around town to help me find a bike, even though it was already past sunset. That's just one of the countless times they have offered such incredible help to their guests. If you're looking for a private beach villa, this isn't the place for you. But if you want to experience the best in hospitality, and make lifelong friends, welcome home to Samui Hills.

This place is one of the most quiet place on the island if not the quietest. You are surrounded bu nature and can enjoy peaceful rest while staying away from noisy and polluted cities. The pool is really warm and you can enjoy at night. You can keep your intimacy here. Staff helpful and they offer taxi to airport for 600 Bath if needed at the moment i write this post.

Lovely cozy rooms with a good comfy bed in a beautiful remote setting in the nature. Quite a few good value resteraunts withing 10-15 mins walking distance. Very safe and quiet roads nearby if you are not too comfortable on a scooty. A scooty makes it just perfect. You can walk out from your room to a clean lovely chill area with a great swimming pool. Marko and joy are the best hosts and donut is the best dog in thailand ❤️ we already miss the place 😆 😥 Just be careful! You might end up staying a long time if you book for a day or two lol.

This place is a hidden gem. The owners Marco and Joy are great, they help with everything you need and if you need a ride they will be happy to take you where you want to go on the island. The rooms are big and nice with a good view of the pool area and mountain. We recommend this especially if you like more quiet place to stay at with good beaches around.

Marco was the best host I had along my trip in Thailand, the hotel was beautiful, and He gave us many tips on which places to visit and with whom to do the excursions. Honestly I will recommend this hotel to all my friends if they go to ko samui!!!

Marco and Joy are great hosts. Clean rooms with hot water and wifi throughout. The pool is clean. The guesthouse is on the sunset(quiet) side of the island. They rent scooters and do airport taxis themselves. I booked for 3 nights and ended up staying almost two weeks

I stayed in Samui Hills for 8 nights and the stay was just Fantastic. Marco and Joy are in charge of the place and they are the sweetest and most helpful couple. They really helped with everything from scooter rental and transport to ferry/airport to activity and restaurant recommendations. The hotel is situated in a very calm and jungle like part of the island. It I the perfect spot to escape from the loud and busy party streets.

Incredible place with a very helpful couple of owners. Price is cheap while rooms are great, quite place. Special mention to the owners + to the cute street dog that became a mascot in our eyes. I hope they'll continue to take care of her. Thanks for everything, wish we had stayed longer!

Very nice and peaceful surroundings, pleasant and helpful host, nice swimming pool. Good price for the quality. I really enjoyed staying there especially as it is on the quieter side of Samui which is well worth exploring.

Really nice hotel with a welcoming owner and staff. They can help you with anything. Had a really lovely Christmas BBQ with them, Marco was so friendly to invite everyone! Can only recommend to stay there, you'll enjoy. I extended my stay two times. Also really quiet area to sleep and nice pool. Only 15 min from the Nathon harbour, try to book a taxi in advance with Marco.

Amazing hosts the most welcome I have felt in Thailand on our trip so far. The rooms are clean and cleaned everyday. The location is a little remote, so a motorbike or car is almost mandatory but the remoteness adds to the beauty of this place. Overall 10/10

Very nice place! Really kind people and very quiet nice in the hills. Moterbike is useful to rent since it is far from the city. Definitely recommend!! Also the swimming pool was very clean and you have a beautiful view on both sides :)

Samui Hills is a really beautiful hotel in the middle of the jungle. It’s super quit and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Not fare away from the hotel is one of the best beaches in Koh Samui. There are not so many people and you can watch the sunset there. If you like more “action” you can rent a scooter on the hotel and it just takes about 20 minutes to the more „touristic area”. The hotel is quit new so the room and the bathroom are really modern. All in one they have an attentive service!

Bring me back! A hidden gem with surprisingly much jungle feeling. You don’t need your Spotify jungle playlist to fall asleep. Neither do you need an alarm to wake you up. The Tokeh geckos will scream for you, when it‘s about that time. The hosts hospitality is next level and Gip is integrating things into your food you‘ve never heard of. The only thing I regret is, that I didn’t stay longer to take the opportunity to go fishing with the hosts. Rooms were very clean and had everything you need - even if a pretty hard mattress is what you‘re looking for. Shout-out to Samui Hills! Thanks for the great time.

Maybe not the best localisation, but staff is really helpful, they save us when my friend get sick and need to be taken to hospital. Room is very big and clean, if You have a motorbike or car You can easily go to the city from this place.

We felt very welcomed by Marco as we arrived. Before he gave us tips to get to Koh samui and the hotel. The room and the place itself were very pretty and we felt very comfortable. We rented a scooter directly in the hotel for a very cheap price and Marco even took the time and suggested very many nice locations to us and also recommended the best food on the island. Pip which was also working there was also very friendly and showed some authentic cooking to us after we went to the local market together where she explained local ingredients to us. We would have stayed longer if we were able to. In sum the hotel was the best we had all over Thailand and we would highly recommend it to you.

Super friendly Italian hosts who helped us out with very good tips and even invited us to have dinner with them. In addition the prices are super good, scooters are available for rent. I can definitely recommend this location.
