Friendly and experienced staff. You can choose between 6 different rooms according to your budget, from basics bungalows with hot water and a fan to a brick build modern rooms perfect for romantic holidays. Very nice pool, more than 13m long good for swimming a bit. 6 minutes walking from the best nightlife in Samui. Ark bar is where people goes. Great prices in November because of low season, no idea in high season. I would come back again. They pet animals, I could see around rabbits fishes dogs cats, an iguana, birds, chickens. They have them in big cages witch is not very ethic for me but some people like animals like that. There is a big restaurant and kitchen with vegetarian options, and laundry service. You can rent motos kayaks (a Lake in front of the hotel) and bikes. Option to buy tickets to ko Phangan , ko Tao with taxi at the same prices than in the Pier (I checked xD). The airport it is also close, about 5 minutes with Moto.

The owner Alan was very hospitable and a good person to talk to. Nid the caretaker has created a beautiful nature vibe along with a variety of animals living there. The facilities are great too. The property is tucked away with a picturesque view of a lake just outside, along with a decent location.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Alan is an absolute living legend and is extremely helpful. The rooms are awesome and they're cleaned every day. The food is INCREDIBLE and I've had some of the best feeds here in all of Thailand thanks to Nid's AMAZING cooking! The animals are so cute and playful. Always brightened up my day. I loved this place and my room. Quiet place, green area, near the beach, market, shops, restaurants. Friendly owners and staff, clean, the rooms have everything you need. Corresponds to 3 *.

Nice place a little out the way. A bit more of a real thai vibe. Might be a culture shock for those new to asia or used to the beach resort accommodation. 100bht for a breakfast choice of egg, 2 toast, fruit platter, cake/donut juice and choice of coffee or tea is pretty damn good. Also 200bht per day Scooter hire, 50bht per kg laundry service. Cant fault it. £35 quid a night i got a bed,air con private bathroom , good size room. A tv (never used) Its near the lake but your not far from bars, restaurants and massage , seven 11, shops , mall pharmac etc. The entry to the place is lake side away from the main road. So this could be good for some maybe not others. But its really not more than 5 minutes walk. As mentioned there are dogs and roosters/chickens on site. They will bark and crow. They are animals after all. But its not constant and generally they are all friendly. Never had a problem. Barked at me twice in 4 days. Was awoken by rooster but easily went back to sleep and ignored. If you want a bit more of a rustic feel and be away from the chaweng/lamai crazy its a good place to stop for a few days or longer. Also has a pool and bar area. Never used myself. So cant comment.

Pretty disappointed by the service provided by Nid and Alan. I booked my reservation via airbnb and then needed to cancel within hours of booking due to a plans change the required me to exit the country (this was 5 days in advance of the check-in date). They only offered a partial refund (less than 50%) and placed the blame on Airbnb. I would not recommend staying here or conducting business with them as they have inflexible and unfriendly policies towards their guests.
