For those looking for the ā€œElephant Rock Hikeā€ itā€™s not where it says on Google Maps. The entrance is across from Tarua Seafood on Google Maps. Itā€™s a steep paved path to the lookout point which is a pretty view, only took a few minutes to ascend. The Elephant Rock location on Google Maps has a nice cliff side restaurant there and you can walk down some steps to the rock and water there but not the ā€œhikeā€. Hope this helps someone as we were confused!

There is nothing here really. Just two really big rocks. There are some steps down to the water but thatā€™s it.

Great hidden swim and snorkeling spot. Also really nice bouldering rocks.

I took the said path/hike in front of tarua seafood restaurant to see elephant rock but didnā€™t see anything amazing there. Just a good view of the sea thatā€™s it. The view from ā€œThe Cliffā€ restaurant was good. Saw two big rocks named Chai & Ellie. Not sure if they are elephant rocks.

šŸ˜  We visited the rock today and I asked the lady whether there were other overlap rocks further up, only to be told that this was the only one. I was convinced there was another one having read reviews previously. Anyway, we asked after we came back down and was told that there are another 2 that we...
