The best place to get fresh fruit (especially bananas and jackfruit), local sweets, grilled unripe bananas, different kinds of meat, shakes and the best coffee we had in Thailand so far (cafe bora. - Thai ice coffee, served in a stall right next to the restaurant). The restaurant that is connected to the market serves the most delicious curries for only 40 Baht, which come with a whole table of herbs and vegetables (also a papaya salad!). They’re open from morning till 9pm. There’s also a clothes shop that sells the typical elephant pants and shirts all for 100 Baht. So if you want a local experience with the best snacks, coffee, sweets and a whole meal definitely come to this market! It’s basically all you need in Koh Samui under one roof.

You can’t eat here, it’s only for take away, but you find different kinds of cooked food and fresh vegetable here.

This fresh food market has a very nice inexpensive restaurant for Thai food. They also have many produce sales people along with packaged food products chicken pork and beef and much Seafood. They also have a section that is for cook prepared food nice little market I think commonly visited by the locals probably on a daily basis.

Great local market selling fresh and cooked food. Veg looks super fresh and so did all the fish. We had a couple of meals from the shop on the corner, opposite the petrol station. Was super cheap (60Thb each) and delicious. 10Thb pork skewers and 20Thb chicken wings were amazing also.

Stop here for a quick Lunch Very cheap and fresh sea food which you can buy and get it cooked there only for a mere 50 Bhat Do try the Prawns at all cost and squids as well :) Local experience and value for money

Top tips for the market: - big BBQ sticks (30THB) - fresh and warm waffles (25 THB), opposite to the BBQ sticks Prices are very good on this market and people very friendly. Much better than the Lamai Night market which sells overpriced tourist souvenirs.

Good market to get fresh ingredients and also a small selection of street food. This is a locals market and always has what you need when items are in season and available locally. Nothing is imported here so sometimes you won’t find certain items ignore previous reviews about somethings not being available. Some vendors are better then others. Find the right ones and you’ll love it.

The food is very affordable. In general, most of the things we tried were delicious. I would highly recommend to eat here.

You can get everything you need here at reasonable prices. Fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, but also ready meals, juices, clothing, etc.

Nice local market. Be honest to yourself, do you expect the smell of rose flowers, when you visit a asian market? No! They sell meat and fish and you WILL smell it, but that's just the nature of the thing. There is a lot of nice food and it's totally worth a visit. Many respectful and nice vendors there. We totally enjoyed it!

Good place for cheap seafood/meat and vegetable. Has some snacks and ready to eat food as well. Don't expect hygiene like you might find in EU though.

Very clean, many different items, they let us even try the fruit before buying it. I truly recommend the food in the left corner of the market. They have amazing food and own seatings.

I was here at 9 in the morning and founded the best fish to grill, every size and quality, even if the two days before the sea was not so gentle.. vegetable, included the wonderful water-spinach ... pls don' t go as me so late in the morning, the best is already gone (for really cheap money)
