Very expensive, we asked to sit by the pool and the waiter said it was only for guests, so instead put us by the beach bar or restaurant, which was rather dead

Beautiful place to get a drink and enjoy the sunset in Samui. Get there before the sun goes down, as the view is the main attraction here.

The views here are actually not that amazing. The way they built it makes it only possible to view in mostly one direction, so you can’t really see the sunset. I don’t think it’s worth the price for these views. The drinks and food are good, and service is really friendly and generous.

W hotel buffet afternoon tea could provide some sweet dessert will be better.

● Jan2024 ● ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars I took my partner for birthday dinner. What an entrance, it definitely got a dramatic view. It is pricey but understandable. However, with the price this high, you would have high expectation as well and as did I. Drinks were tiny and it's expensive. We ordered food from the kitchen table. I wanted to have Japanese cuisine from Namu but they wouldn't serve it at Woo Bar due to temperature control of the food to deliver it from the beach to the top. Double cheese burger was very ... plain. I expected it to be a bit more ... wow and delicious. Of course when you pay over 500 baht for a burger 🍔 you would hope that first bite would wow you. I ordered salmon salad 🥗 a bit after my partner ordered his burger. I was told it wouldn't be too long. Also, I thought a salad wouldn't be hard or complicated to make. I waited and waited until my partner almost finished his dish. So I asked staff if she could check the food for me. Not long after that, my food arrived. It was underwhelming. Just a flat smoked salmon in a plate of a siza as big as your hand. I definitely didn't think it would take long. The flavor was ok but ... I think they try to elevate the dish and make it fancy too much. Sometimes, simple but well cook food is the best. I guess it's not my type of food. I like the food that fill you up and you want more of it. I mean ... the view is spectacular. I booked for a birthday and was confirmed for birthday celebration. I thought there would be some sort of special arrangement for the occasion but nothing. I mean they're not wrong. I was in hospitality business and this attention to details would lift your service and guest satisfaction. This is just a friendly advice for a chance of improving the service. I didn't expect to get anything but when I was confirmed the booking, it seemed that they got a birthday celebration note. A card or complimentary drink or dessert for the birthday person would not hurt your business. I mean I went to far less luxurious place and I got more of a nice gesture on special occasion like this. Would I come back? Probably yes, for the view and if it's not my choice. But I wouldn't come back for a drink or food here. Thank you.

Magnificent views in every direction, well stocked and enthusiastic staff. I am truly impressed and entertained with this Bar. Genius seating configuration and contemporary design. The fire show is very entertaining. The guys on the show are very skillful. My attendant, Mr. Bank had made me feel like meeting a new friend. Rather than just go into an establishment. His attentiveness and positive attitude is what made my experience whole, along with drinks. Extensive drinks menu. Exotic cocktails. Even Laguvulin 16 and Dalwhinnie 15 whiskey are served here ( hard to find in Thailand). Those two single malts pair well with my Olivia cigar. We were there for two nights and service was very consistent. We did not stay at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about the room. But I really had a good time at this Bar, and would need a very compelling reason to not visit this Bar again.

Honestly this place is way overhyped..... Price for a cocktail started at 400 baht and it was almost completely empty on a Saturday night. If you are coming with a big group and have deep pockets the views are nice - but there are plenty of better bars that are less hollow on the island.

Great view! Good drinks. Interesting and good food options. I recommend trying the fried papaya salad, it was really special and good!

Very nice place and view, nice fire show on the water. Cocktails are good but the food is regular (and little choice) and the service a disaster. Slow (very slow), it's a pity because It somehow ruins the experience.

Nice bar with a peaceful and serene view over the sea. They have a great happy hour desk with one for one cocktails and beer.

Probably one of the most iconic places for a drink on Koh Samui. Great staff and atmosphere. Give it a go!

Amazing view but 450 bath for Aperol Spritz is too much…

Great view but a bit expensive, also me and my wife had to go at a meeting at 5:00 pm somewhere near there, we ordered raspberry mascarpone and pitachio icecream about 4:20 pm and we had to wait more than 35 minutes for that so we had a little taste of it and left it nearly full, and it doesn't taste good at all, so in my experience you can just enjoy the view and the lovely pool

The bar is pretty good, very mellow when we went. Happy hour is between 8-10pm everyday and it's buy one drink get another of the same drink for free. The speciality drinks range from 390 - 450 baht. We ordered from the happy hour menu and got two Mai Tai's, the bartender said they would be the classic style with orgeat syrup, they were okay, nothing special and way to sweet for a true Mai Tai

Went here with a large group for a few birthday celebrations. The drinks and service were outstanding. The view at sunset is gorgeous.

W Hotels are always our favorite so we knew we had to come check this one out. Woo bar has a stunning setting, with excellent music and great staff! Special thanks to Beau for taking such great care of us and being so welcoming. We will definitely be back before leaving Samui!
