Simply the best food in Chewang beach!! Truly authentic flavours and a great choice of traditional dishes. We came here twice in 4 days as it was so great. Fragrant, spicy, fresh and truly delicious. Also a great choice of cocktails. Also the service is fantastic - attentive, fast and efficient. A very well run business and we wish it every success!!! See you next time :-)

We had a nice dinner. Food was ok but nothing special. Service quick and friendly. Touristy prices, like everywhere in the area. Not a bad option for a dinner.

We eat here 4 times during our stay and just like all other reviews we weren’t disappointed. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Food was so delicious. Highly recommend this place.

The food at Malee Kitchen is 10/10. My husband and I shared the pork golden bags and prawn tamarind to start which were both delicious! We then had the massaman curry which was one of the best we’ve had (and we’ve eaten a lot of Thai curries) we also had the fried sweet & sour fish which was soooo good too! The banana fritters are also so yum, a must try if you have room. The food is really high quality authentic Thai, with fresh ingredients and is presented beautifully. A lovely spot in the centre of Chaweng - highly recommend!

What a gem. We walked far and nearly gave up, but persisted. So very glad we did. Having eaten in many Thai restaurants in Samui and elsewhere I can in all honesty say this was exceptional. The service was friendly and crisp. The food was freshly prepared and in a category of its own when compared to other places in town. All I can say is do yourself a favour and come eat here.

What an amazing little culinary paradise in Ko Samui! We loved everything we had. But the fish (yes, the whole fish) was exceptionally good. The restaurant chef, this beautiful Thai lady, brought it to our table (it wasn’t busy yet)! Great service, quite affordable, everyone is very polite :)

The owner really cares about her customers, the place is now very, very busy so be prepared to wait while you have one of their amazing cocktails. Many choices in Chaweng but glad we ate here. Thank you

Definitely a MUST visit! Was very surprised taste and the dishes have a very good quality. Ordering process very simple and very fast! Not my last visit! Update: Quality recheck. Meals are still good quality. My Tom Yum Soup and Panang Curry had way too much Lime Leafes inside. Also in the Soup were too much Lime Grass, which was also really hard to chew and unfortunately it delivers a too strong lemon taste! Please check your quality more carefully so that it always remains the same. This is not critic, only a well-intentioned advice…

My partner and I came here after reading about the oustanding reviews and I must say, we weren't disappointed. We had the tempura prawns, phanaeng chicken curry and prawn pad kee mao and all dishes were bursting with authentic thai flavour. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive and kept checking in to see how we liked our meals. She even went out of her way to provide us with additional condiments to further enhance the dish flavours. We will be back tomorrow for lunch. What a shame we didn't find this place sooner. Also, their cocktails taste amazing!

Amazing!!!! Really good Thai food. We enjoyed this place twice.... The fish number 44 was delicious also the crab was good, but a little too spicy for me, but all the meals we had were good. The chicken masala was yummy. The shakes are good too. And the rice. Everything is goooood

Very good restaurant with delicious and authentic Thai food. They do offer some good vegetarian options as well. Definitely try it if you are around in that area.

Wow, wow, we wow ! What a wonderful restaurant, fabulous food, fresh and delicately cooked with care and fresh ingredients. The staff are very friendly and courteous and the owner cares hugely about her customers and obviously her staff. A varied menu of food and beverages. This restaurant really has a great feel. The restaurant is deservedly busy and booking would be advisable. We can’t wait until our next visit.

The food is so average. 4.7/5 is definitely overrated. 3.8 at most The dining environment is nice but food is ...nothing worth compliments especially the meat is overcooked, very dry. The crystal Thai food restaurant nearby is only 1/3 price and has way better taste. Environment not so comfy though.

The most delicious Thai food we ate! The place is very clean, the ladies take care of every detail. From the starter to the dessert, everything was very very tasty.

Went there in September 2019. Cozy Thai restaurant. A bit nicer than a local Thai restaurant nearby. Great service. They lend you a mosquito repellent spray. The toilet was very clean, too. I recommend Tom Yum Goong (spicy but not too spicy) and Pad Thai with a bigger shrimp and coconut milk. The price was a little bit higher than a casual local restaurant, but each dish had a lot of volume with great quality and beautifully presented. Everything seemed to be delicious. Only red curry of fried pork was not my type, because I felt sweet pork seasoned with octagon and red curry did not match. The curry itself was spicy and delicious, though.

The food was so amazing and so pretty decorated, very sensitive tastes and a bit different than usual in a very positive sense. Recommend!

Great place to stop for lunch. If you've been missing vegetables, this is the place to go. All the dishes we ordered had a lot of veggies in them (in addition to the delicious seafood).

Malee Kitchen was one of our favorite restaurants in Koh Samui. Been there twice, tried a variety of things and I can honestly say everything was very tasty. The chicken massaman curry and the fried bananas with coconut ice cream are highly recommended! Great service, cozy little restaurant. Can only say positive things about it.

Very sweet restaurant by the street, away from the noise and with a cause atmosphere. The spring rolls were really fresh, very very very nice soup and amazing desert FRIED BANANA! Tasty and fresh. Nice for a quick diner.

This is a traditional Thai food restaurant but it feels like different from just another local restaurant in Samui. The environment is cleaner; ambience is more brightful; dishes are better presented; and more importantly, food tastes good too. The dish we liked most was the steamed squid in lemons, served with spicy sauce.

I'd give this place a 4.1. The sweet sour pork ribs and Tom yum soup were very tasty. The mango sticky rice was not so flavorful. The mango was sour and the coconut milk wasn't sweet. Something was lacking. The decor was nice but the seats were uncomfortable. It was also difficult to ask questions about the dishes because the waiters didn't understand us. A manager/waitress came later and she was helpful. She even offered to take the soup back if it was too spicy. This wasn't needed because it was great.

I ordered a Massaman Curry and it was the best one I had in Thailand (and I had a fewwww), the chicken was tender and of good quality. The price was very reasonable as well! Kra tae was super friendly, accommodating and kind. If you are staying in Chaweng, you should definitely plan a dinner here!
