By far the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to, worldwide!!! I was literally praying that they survived the pandemic and I wasn’t disappointed. Super delicious food and a super helpful staff we have fallen in love with. There won’t be a day I’m on Koh Samui and I’m not going to Babu‘s!

Atmospheric place with a great Indian food for fair price. Portions pretty big so make a sense to order 1 main dish for 2 people. Not spicy option is available. Good set of sauces (tamarind) is a gem

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here. Tasty curries and good variety of choice. The service was really good especially with how busy the restaurant gets in the evening. The prices are creeping a little bit higher than those mentioned in Google reviews made even a couple of weeks ago.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this cozy little restaurant in Koh Samui's peaceful Maenam area. I find this is one of the very few Indian restaurants that delivers incredibly beyond my expectation. My companions all enjoyed each and every dishes. Many of the dishes I’ve enjoyed eating at home was presented here full of flavour and freshly made quality ingredients. I absolutely recommend this ultra laidback little spot if you're thinking of enjoying delectable Indian cuisine when in Samui. The staff here are lovely - friendly, attentive and helpful in all aspects. Personal highlights: The restaurant's very own spicy chicken bahar curry and their indulgent chicken tikka masala. Their masala tea is also refreshingly good. Virtually every dishes were so enjoyable, and I'd say that their entire menu is worth exploring.

We loved it here. Dined in one night and enjoyed ourselves so much that we had it delivered on another night. Portions are generous and curries are extremely flavourful and not overly greasy. Spice level can be adjusted to your liking. Owners are friendly and approachable. DELICIOUS!

The place is such a gem. I had the chicken tika masala, buttered naan, jeera rice and a large Singh beer for about ฿400. Some of the best Indian food I have every had the pleasure to eat. Service was great, food came quickly, nicely presented. Staff followed up a few times to make sure my experience was good. They offered a set of four sauces to complement my main dish. I really enjoyed the mango relish. It was a nice contrast with the medium spiciness of the tika masala. I think next time I will take the spiciness up a notch and again enjoy the mango relish on offer. Highly recommend this place. Really really good food.

We noticed many people visiting here as we stayed nearby, which surprised us due to its quiet location and small size. We researched it and saw how recommended it was on Trip Advisor so gave it a go. So glad we gave it a go as the food was extraordinary. The lady was super friendly and could cater well to my young sons needs 🤗 top marks all around.

Very impressed! Best Indian on Samui. Excellent flavors. Authentic taste. If you like spicy, ask for it spicy and spice levels will be perfect 👍 They don’t add sugar like low quality Indian restaurants. Very good! Highly recommended 👌

Relaxed atmosphere with great choice of Indian food in Samui… priced reasonably for the quantity and taste.. looks like family run business the owner and people serving are very friendly…if you are in Koh Samui highly recommended to try at-least for one meal course… if you are driving by Car you need parked 2 shops away..

Definitely, by far, the absolute pinnacle of Indian food in Thailand. Very authentic and very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants delicious Indian cuisine. Also nice staff! 11/10 situation in my opinion. It’s excellent!!!

I like Indian food and this place has tasty good stuff. Ive been trying all the standard Indian chicken curries and Nan bread and they are consistently good. I like consistency. The service is the best you’ll get in Thailand. Bottom line for me, great value. They provide mosquito repellent.

Good food. Quick and friendly service. We ordered lamb vindaloo, chicken fish, Daal, naan and rice. My bf really liked their chutneys.

I have never been a fan of indian food, but this is really delicious, great curry, masala, chicken soup, I also appreciate that they have some toys for kids

This is an excellent place to get great tasting Indian style food. While I was staying in the area of Mae Nam my partner and I ate here about 15 times, maybe more, trying different dishes. There was no reason to go anywhere else. Rita was the best host I've met and a big reason why we kept going back. She helped me select various dishes, recommended some I would not have otherwise tried. Great communication, excellent service and friendly with a good sense of humor. IF you like this style of food, you will most likely love the food here another reason we kept going back. Reasonable prices IMO. My apologies for taking so long to post this. Hope to come back there soon. I'll try to add photos later.

Best Indian restaurant of the 4 Indian places we tried on Samui, will definitely come back! Spacious, great food and value for money

Great food - better than many Indian restaurants in the UK and far cheaper. The naan is exceptional. Portions are not huge - you probably need a main to yourself, but they are certainly enough. Staff are lovely and attentive and the atmosphere is relaxed.

The food is excellent. Great vegan options. Outdoor, fresh-air seating but well covered. It doesn't seem to have a lot of customers during the day, probably because it's off the main road and so it's not something to easily see and stop at for tourists. Definitely worth the stop.

We recently dined at Babu's Indian restaurant and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. The food was fantastic - every dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The butter chicken was particularly incredible - the rich, creamy sauce was the perfect complement to the tender chicken. The service was also perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was as pleasant as possible. They also made great recommendations for dishes that we might not have tried otherwise, which was a nice touch. Overall, I highly recommend Babu's Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever visited. The only thing I didn't like is waiting for an hour for my delivery, even though I gave them the exact location on Google maps. So just come there and eat whatever you like.

It is a very tasty restaurant and has many of our favorite dishes.

The food is magnificent. The staff are charming and attentive, and the prices excellent. If the lighting wasn't quite so awfully bright, this place would be pretty much perfect. Unforgettably good Indian food. I'll be back!
