Probably the cheapest and the best detox and fasting retreat in Koh Samui or even whole Thailand. I have a lot of experience in detox and the way it works and have been to a lot of places and experienced this wonderful process of cleaning the body inside out, but have to say my experience at Health Oasis Resort has been absolutely satisfactory. All the aspects of the service has been well taken care of and the staff and management is dedicated to the cause. I have had great experience and I can recommend this place to all. Health Oasis offers a range of quality detox programs that are well designed and affordable. They have been around for quite some time - since 1997 - and are very experienced. I really enjoyed the massage, the delicious vegetarian food at the restaurant, and the relaxed and peaceful location right on the beach. It was very nice going for a long walk up the beach and back. And there are also mountains with lush rainforest and waterfalls nearby. A beautiful place. I highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again soon. 5 stars

This is exactly where you want to be if you need to detach, unplug, and recharge. I ended up extending my stay at Health Oasis Resort for several reasons. Kind-hearted and genuine staff, a front row seat to the infinite ocean (the beach is private and quiet and clean), clean and comfortable accommodation, and (when you're not detoxing) the food is incredible and cooked with love. I felt so taken care of when I stayed here, which is what I really look for in a retreat/vacation/detox. I recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and destress. I can't wait to go back!

I visited Health Oasis Resort earlier this year. Its located on a beautiful quiet part of the island, with a palm tree lined beach and clear blue water. I had an amazing massage by a man named Suwan, he is blind, but knew intuitively all the sore spots in my back that was giving me trouble. The massages are done by the beach so you can hear the ocean. The staff are very happy and welcoming and will take good care of you. Definitely recommend!!!

After completing an 8-day fast/detox at the Resort, I feel completely lighter --physically and mentally. My morning yoga has been smoother while my evening meditation has been relatively more focused. I even noticed my sense of smell has been enhanced (I keep smelling cooked beef with garlic). The staff at the Resort provided the required guidance and instructions for me to take initiative of my own detox process. The friendly Thais and Burmese staff really looked after my needs and requests -- at all hours of the day. I noticed they truly enjoyed providing babysitting services for a guest who came with her baby. Overall, I would definitely return for another session. Compared to other services on the island, I would say that Health Oasis gives you value for your money. Now, I just need to save my bhat and accumulate more toxins in order to return.

My first time at Health oasis’s was back in 2012. It was all a very new and eye-opening experience back then. I felt, after 10 days of detox, like a completely new person. I lost weight, my skin glowed, I had a constant smile on my face. That underlying constant anxiety that persists in everyday life seemed to have faded and almost disappear. The Health Oasis resort is not a fancy place by any means. But it is a very down to earth, clean and an attentive place. It’s a place where material things don’t and shouldn’t matter. I realized after 2 days of detox, that I didn’t want to wear any make up or perfume, the smell and the feel of these things made me feel ill. My skin would be clearer and healthier by the day. At first, one might feel lost and confused, but once you get into the routine of the day, things flow with ease and peace. There’s no drama. No demands and thankfully, no temptations. I went back to my husband looking and feeling completely different. I decided years later to visit again. I had been to other detox retreats in other countries, but this time, I took a close friend along to health oasis. I believe she truly needed to be in such a place. It just brings you down to the basics, and you start to look at your own emotions and thoughts. Sure, the place is old, but it has character. I even remember some of the same staff that were there years ago. It’s like coming back to a family. Yes some staff had changed but the general function of the program was exactly the same. If you are looking for a place that has an excellent detox ethos, not crazy expensive and want a change in your body and mind, this is the place. It’s not meant to be a luxurious holiday resort. It’s a place for healing and rejuvenation. And I’m sure I will be back there as soon as this covid business is under control.

I had a the beautiful experience of visiting Thailand 2 years ago. In that trip a very important highlight was my visit to Oasis Resort were I had the chance to stay for some days... (very few to be honest, as this place is so incredible that you wish you could stay forever). Health Oasis Resort was the first Wellness Detox Spa Retreat I have ever visited. Located on a beautiful beachfront of the tropical island of Koh Samui. People were lovely, food was delicious, the atmosphere was really very easy going and relaxing. I highly recommend this experience. I guarantee you will come out brand new!!!

The beach all along this coast is beautiful, however this place is really overpriced. The room sizes are tiny and most are quite old. The staff is friendly and service is okay but overall the place looks very tired and worn out as it feels like it was built 40 years ago and never updated. Primarily this place is geared for its detox service but you don't necessarily have to stay there to join their program. If you want to use their Detox Services you can, pay just for that and stay somewhere else nearby for less than 30% the cost for house twice the size. I had a meal at their restaurant several years ago and also asked to see the rooms but after seeing their small size, the grounds and learning of the price, decided not to stay.

So good to be back . So friendly and leaving totally transformed . The Yoga with Sakda is awesome . I am stronger and more flexible , can now move into areas I didn’t know existed . I hated it day 1 and now love it !

Did the 2 week total transformation program. It was a good program and i achieved what i wanted. No more parasites and 11kg lighter. Beach is rocky and not good for swimming, there is a place down the very end where you can swim but its a bit of a walk. Not the best quality equipment but it does match the price. The rooms were nice, freshly renovated. Actually there were some going on while i was there and i did find it annoying but it was only a couple of days. The massages were excellent, i think Bon is the best and Suwan does a massage with a special hammer that is amazing. I liked the relaxed approach to the program and it was nice to be situated in a quiet area. Katie, the health manager, does a great job and is always willing to help. The owners were nice as were the staff. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to do a fasting detox, however do not expect it to be easy. Once i finished the program i got to try a few dishes, they were all excellent and i think the best vegetarian food I've had in Thailand.

The resorts ambience is lovely and very serene. It is not a 5 star resort, but offers an amazing natural environment with calming greenery and on the beach, therefore the ideal environment for a detox retreat. The food in the restaurant by the talented chef Thuzar is nutritious and delicious. Each and everyone of the staff are amazing, helpful and this is what really makes health oasis unique. Would highly recommend

Stayed here back in 98 when it was healing child resort..loved my month stay...I came to stay here after my friend had a run in with the owner on a coach from Bangkok and when we got to surat thani the owner asked if we had anywhere to stay being young and travelling we did not so we took up the offer..I loved the restraunts pineapple in batter (forget the name)...at the time there was 108 Baht to the pound...love Thailand 🇹🇭 and koh Samuel.. thank you
