Lovely lovely ambience at this restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful as well. Prices are definitely high (about 200-300b per dish) but it’s a great place to treat yourself at the start or end of the trip! The food was absolutely delicious and quite different from even the usually excellent Thai street food we had. I particularly liked the pineapple fried rice! Very tasty and it had some special herbs in it to elevate the taste. Would definitely come back again someday!

Phensiri has set a high standard for our meals for the rest of our trip. We had the roast duck red curry, stir fried fresh and juicy crab with onions and curry powder, and fried egg with basil (off menu item), each dish was excellent. Unlike other eateries, the roast duck is separately roasted topped on the curry as opposed to being cooked in the curry so you could still taste the crisp of the skin. Attentive service by our waitress, Pon, who suggested that we have the restaurant serve the crab peeled as we did not want to get our hands dirty and periodically checked in on us throughout our meal to make sure the food was satisfactory. The food is cooked fresh so Pon prepared us for a wait as there was an earlier group who placed a large order ahead of us at 6.30pm; so do go early if you do not want to wait! Planning to head back to try other dishes on their menu, particularly the fried shrimp balls, if our schedule permits!

Very nice thai restaurant. You sit there very pleasantly, the wood radiates a pleasant warmth. The atmosphere is wonderful. There is a good selection of authentic thai food, all very high quality and damn tasty. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back. Absolute recommendation! ... on this occasion I also recommend to try the sushi right next door ;)

It’s a must when you are in Samui and we were just lucky passing by and stop there for a visit without reading any reviews. All dishes we ordered are tasty, rich and with chef-standard. You can feel it. Recommend to try nam prik gung siab which has unique (and surprisingly good) taste and the dessert of the day shouldn’t be missed too. Ours are sesami balls in coconut milk—-the stuffing is juicy and melt in your mouth. Parking available in the back of the restaurant.

Such a pleasurable meal. We had a lunch for 2 on a weekend without reservation, but it is recommended to do so. Local dishes are tasty and delicious. Fresh coconut water served in shell, chili paste, grilled squid and prawn, crispy pork chili stir fried. The staff are very warm welcome with lovely recommendation on menu and the chef came by guess table to have a chat. Atmosphere was peaceful. The place has parking lot but limited to 4-5 lots. It was almost crowded when we finished.

Lovely atmosphere, great location very close to Chaweng Beach. Offer a wide variety of foods from Thai to local. I came here twice for dinner and lunch and ordered both Thai and local cuisine. Every dish is cooked perfectly and tastes so good. However the portion of southern Thai dishes were a bit small compare to another Thai restaurant with the same range of price. Still worth to try tho!

The food and the atmosphere were great. We have the stir Fried squid with coconut milk (daily special) and the duck red curry. Both dishes were great, the staff was very helpful and attentive. Definitely worth the trip and will do again if I am ever back in koh Samui.

One of the famous restaurant in Samui, have normal Thai dishes, Italian (pasta), and Southern Thai food. We came as group and ordered 5 dishes, mixed of Thai and Southern. Staff is attentive. Foods rather takes times and came after waiting for 15 mins and we had to follow up once. And foods came at the same time. Southern dishes tasted nice and authentic Southern style with hot and spicy. There are both indoor and outdoor zone. Many seats to sit in but recommend to book or reserve seats in advance. The restaurant accepted credit card with 3% charge.

Take away was as good as being there. I have experienced bad takeaway - the food becomes soggy, sauces spilling out, everything in disarray but the meal I got yesterday was fabulous. The platter was awesome. Everything tasted as it should taste together they sang a tune. The papaya salad was not too acidic nor sweet. The rolls could do with more savoury but it was delightful as well. I might have gotten the mango rice too if it wasn’t too much for one. I’d come back for sure!

We had a wonderful family lunch at Phensiri restaurant. The ambiance was delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that was perfect for families. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel truly special. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant. Another aspect that stood out was their certification as Halal, which is quite rare to find but greatly appreciated. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

We were a group of five and reserved a table for 6pm. We ordered food and wine. The service was professional and fast. Each dish was delicious. Pay attention to the following: 1. Thai food is spicy so you need to consult with the waiter about how spicy you want your food 😀. Especially the Som Tam. 2. The portions of food on each dish is relatively bigger than regular Thai restaurants that's why the dish prices are more expensive. 3. Reserve a table in advance because this restaurant is very busy in the high season. If you book in advance, you may get a table inside the restaurant with good A/C 👍🏻. When we left at 7:30pm there was a long waiting que outside.

I tried this restaurant February of last year because someone we met on a tour suggested it. It was a shame that it was our last day and we couldn’t try more dishes. But I’ve been craving it ever since! This time we only ordered the yellow crab curry and the minced chicken basil with rice and they worth it! Planning to come back before the end of the trip to try the other dishes. Edit: we came back for our last meal! It didn’t disappoint!

Lunch here was delicious and the coffee also really good (cappuccino). Friendly attentive staff. Super clean bathrooms. I recommend the stir fried cashew dish it was our favourite.

Very good thai food for reasonable prices. The waiters are very friendly, they know their menu and can make good recommendations. They speak quite good english, too. Later in the evening it got quite full and we needed to wait a little bit for dessert to come. (I'm sure they are missing some hands at the moment.) But we want to visit them again, today!

Tasty simple Thai food with reasonable price. If you are not into spicy, be careful of the menu or ask them to mild the spice taste, it’s a real spicy for spicy dish. Dessert was also nice.

We came twice in two days. A bit higher prices for Thai cuisine but worth it. Go for the shrimp drumsticks as an appetizer, you won’t regret. Mango lassi (with no suger) was amazing too (had to order two). Attached are photos of Noodle chicken soup (#50 - that was the weakest choice we had) and chicken laarp (#43 I think) that goes with sticky rice.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant! We visited this restaurant twice during our vacation and were absolutely thrilled with the delicious food and the very friendly service. Try the spicy fish dishes! They are worth every single baht!!

By far our best restaurant experience on Samui. Felt authentic and was really tasty. Service was really good too. Prices a little touristy but, at this restaurant, it was worth it.

Wow. This is a wow. When we arrived, almost all the tables were occupied. A lot of people, nice atmosphere, much space, clean utilities, large menu choices. And nevertheless the order was delivered in 10 mins. I got impressed. Very fast, quality Thai food. The waiters are literally running around the tables, picking up the dishes at the time and delivering food hot. It is great job, wonderful service, quality management. It's a wow. I will come back tomorrow to spend the New Years Eve Dinner here. Amazing!

The food is tasty but slightly overpriced for the level of service they offer. Went 2 times to this restaurant during our stay; the first time they actually confused our order and got the wrong thing delivered. They were nice enough to offer it as complementary. The second time we went was during peak hour in the evening so we had very long waiting times. They were very disorganized and several of our dishes were served very messily. Looked like it was literally thrown together by a child and they also forgot our orders! I recommend going there on off peak timing… also anticipate long waiting time for food

We were two people and went two times to Phensiri for dinner. We had to wait a few minutes because its very popular but waiting is definitely worth it. We loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. One of our favorite restaurants in Thailand. The staff is very friendly. Keep in mind, if you want to pay with card there is a 3% fee.
