My husband and I are in our early 70’s and from Australia. We loved our dining experience at this restaurant last night. We were met by the charming French owner, who’s wife is the chef, and shown to a table under a thatched roof.....our own cabana. It was raining when we arrived, but luckily we were kept dry while in our little cabana. The service was unbelievable. I have never had such quick service anywhere in the world. And I loved the quiet atmosphere. I’m so sick of noisy restaurants! The food was excellent. Thai food cooked very well. And the house wine ( French) was excellent. It’s very hard to get good wine in Thailand at a reasonable price, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Superb jungle curry. Nice and spicy plus full of fresh herbs. Starter with prawns was best I ever had. Only negative is that it's a bit more expensive than smaller local restaurants. A curry is about 180 baht plus 30 baht for a small white rice.

Really nice restaurant. Kids can also go swimming in the pool. We had the Mixed Hot Pot and it was very good and plenty of food!

Very nice and cosy restaurant in Lamai with the friendly staff. My housband and I made a reservation for Valentine day and we were greeted with a heart garland around our table, it was really nice. The food (Thai siders, fish in chilly souce with fried vegetables, mango with a sticky rice) and their red wine was very delicious.

Authentic Thai cuisine and a very warm and welcome atmosphere. The service was great and the owner is the nicest guy who personally comes at your table to ask if everything is ok. It's a shame we only have time to visit once!!

The Kob restaurant is a very nice place for Thai food. Nice people and great prices. Well done!

Great place we choosed in Lamaï for lunch today. Tasty food, super friendly waiters and owner, and kids enjoyed the pool... What else ? Thé price ! Pretty cheap ! I higly recommand.

We just had two dinners back to back.Excellent Thai food with a few French touches here and there. Nice atmosphere,very quiet for a romantic dinner under the wooden huts. Stephane the owner is very nice and will stop by to make sure everything is to your liking. I don’t think I’ve ever had such value for the money. Note- Large quantities but great quality. You will have your lunch plans sorted.

Nice place, good food, just the staff don't seem to care much. There was quite a lot of broken glass inside and around the play house for kids and the pool also didn't seem to be cleaned regularly. The owner, a French guy, was very nice, came for a quick chat. Mixed feelings about the place. With a little bit more effort it could be a fantastic spot, but unfortunately it's just ok.

Amazing Thai food. We stumbled across this place and weren’t disappointed. Very warm welcome from the outset. We both decided to try one of each set menu which was a range of Thai dishes. Food arrived very quickly and was probably the best we had for our two weeks travelling through Thailand.

Delicious food, 2 very very kind ladies. Fast serving as we were only 4 tables. Highly recommended.

The food is absolutely amazing!! It’s so fresh and the service is so quick. As backpackers we ended up coming 4 times on our trip as we loved it so much. The manager is the sweetest lady in the world and it’s such a nice cosy place to enjoy a meal as there’s cabana seating, a swimming pool & even a tiny and very friendly kitten named Milky who lives there. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!! 🥰 + extremely affordable for backpackers!!

Great food and cheap prices. When I needed stable food after having stomach issues it sorted me right out. The woman who owns it is so sweet and has many friendly cats and a pool, where towels are provided. My girlfriend and I went back four nights in a row!

Charming place with the tables, well spaced, in the garden. The owner is friendly and provides mosquito repellent at the tables. The food is divine, we visited twice and had the Massaman, Panang and Tom Kha Gai, all superb flavours. Well worth a visit.
