Authentic Indian food and friendly owner to boot! Situated outside the busy tourist precinct it’s only a 10 min cab ride here. Once you finish your Indian it’s only a 2m stroll to the local beach. I will be back to this place.

We order biryani / butter chicken/ madras and also some diffrent kinds of naan bread and it was AMAZING !!! We got helped by mister Akbar and the service was amazing. Also the food untill now it is the best indian restaurant we had in whole thailand !!! If you like indian food and want good food and amazing service YOU MUST COME HERE !!

We had dinner with 8 people and the ordered an Indian feast on our table. Very friendly owner and delicious Indian food. The green spicy mint sauce is excellent. All dishes we had tasted superb. Very affordable and outdoor seating!

We've had some really good quality Indian food since we arrived to Thailand (in Bangkok specifically) and this one ranks up there at the top . Very high quality ingredients, smaller than typical portions at many Indian restaurants yet more than enough to satisfy your cravings for a Indian curry dish. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and one order of the chicken korma. Both were absolutely mouthwatering delicious. We highly recommend stopping into this place on your way to Choeng Mon Beach -- another must visit within 2 mins of Akbar restaurant.

Excellent food with chosen levels of spice which we got a range of. The mild is mild with all kinds of delicate flavours and the hot is home country hot leaving lips tingling and belly warm. Excellent meal all around.

Ordered a delivery nearby. Really really average tasting food. Both the Paratha and Naan were uncooked. Curry and daal were nothing to write home about, disappointing in fact. Lacked flavour No idea how they gathered such good reviews on maps

Terrific lunch here. Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic naan, rice and beer for two for under 800 Baht. Food was fresh, hot and delicious! And the staff even made the our individual plates custom to our spice preference (he likes it spicy, me not so much). Highly recommend!! 😁

Stopped here for lunch today on the way back from the beach. It was absolutely delicious! Great options for vegetarians and omnivores alike. I highly recommend the Aloo Baigan! Definitely give it a try if you are in Koh Samui.

Great authentic food and nice owners. Highly recommend this place. You can decide how spicy you would like to have your meal (from not spicy or mild to very spicy). The owners are very friendly and recommend and explain the dishes. We had the Butter Chicken with butter naan and rice for just 250 baht. And Chicken Tikka Masala with yellow saffron rice and naan for 300 baht. Lots of options for authentic Indian dishes. Also very delicious Mango juice.

We ordered food a few times staying at the Ritz. The owner delivered it himself once and the second time we picked it up. The food was incredible! And even though we were recovering from food poisoning, chicken tikka and barbeque chicken with white rice and naan healed us! It was incredible quality food and my partner named it the best food in Thailand :) Very grateful! As we were struggling with finding the menu, I am uploading all their menu that I took pictures of. I was surprised to see such a long menu being there in person!

One of the best places I have eaten in Thailand. The staff is very friendly and the service is great! The food is amazing, full of flavour and portions are quite big. I got the chicken masala hot, tendori mixed plate and of course, garlic naans. Absutely worth it!

3rd visit and definitely not the last! Food is excellent, service is great. We absolutely love this restaurant and the lovely couple who run it. We walk here from Bangrak, truly worth it. Good place to eat Halal food in Koh Samui. Owner of restaurant Mr. Akbar is basically from Indian occupied Kashmir. He serve all dishes with original kashmiri taste.

Delicious Indian food! I had a couple different kinds of vegetable curry dishes (one would have been plenty!) 130 baht each with garlic butter naan (70 baht). Owners very friendly. Felt more like eating at "home".
