Crystal Thai Food restaurant is a great place to sit and relax and enjoy a sumptuous Thai meal. The menu is varied and absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. A must try if you are in the area looking for a good meal and great prices.

I love this place. I come often when in Koh Samui. The owners are very pleasant people and the atmosphere they host is warm. Highly recommend. And, it’s affordable. Give it a try. Worth it! They have Thai cuisines and others too.

Amazing restaurant! I had a chicken and pineapple red thai curry which was delicious and a big enough portion to takeaway half for lunch the next day. My partner had chicken wings to start then a pork in sticky sauce with rice for his main for only 70 baht. Food arrived super quickly and tasted great. We were also given complimentary watermelon to finish - highly recommend!

Local Thai restaurant. Revisited there in September 2019. We went there for lunch for four times during our 11-day stay in samui. Various western dishes such as pasta and sandwiches were available there, but we only ordered Thai dishes. The service was great and everything was extremely reasonable. Most Thai dishes were usually tasty. However, the ingredients used there were not the same as those provided by fine Thai food restaurants. Also, each portion of the dish was smaller than those provided by the restaurants targeted for tourists. So to put it short, this is a clean, cozy local restaurant which provides tasty Thai food at the reasonable price same as the local stall. But nothing fancy. Mango Shake, Coconut Milk Shake, Som Tam, Spring Roll,Barbecue spare ribs, Tom Yum Goong, Gappao, Pad Thai are highly recommended. (I don’t recommend garlic fried rice and barbecue pork egg noodle soup.) こぎれいなローカルレストランですが、値段は屋台と変わらないぐらいリーズナブルでびっくりでした。 サービスは感じよく、頼んだ料理は割とすぐ出てきます。 ココナッツミルクシェイクやマンゴシェイク、ガッパオが特に美味しかったです。 パッタイも薄いオムレツの皮に包んであるようなイマドキのカフェ風のものではなく、昔ながらの素朴なパッタイで私はその方が断然好みです！ 唯一ガーリックバターライスだけ、ちょっとはずしちゃいましたが、美味しいフレッシュフルーツシェイクや普通のローカルフードを頼んでいたら間違いないと思います。ランチ二人でチップ込みで３００バーツ以下でした。 おすすめです。 ※シェイクとか50バーツです！お料理もタイ料理なら６０バーツ位から。昔のままのコサムイ価格！

Very best Pad Thai and Som Tam. The prices are very low. Very friendly and awesome service place. I'm visiting them for 10 years now :)

Very yummy and cheap Thai food! The owners are very sweet and kind and even gave us a little plate of fruits after we finished our lunch. The first restaurant in Thailand that managed to cook Khao Soi so little spicy, that I was able to eat it haha. The fruit shakes are super good and fresh! I warmly recommend this place!

I came because of the reviews and I wasn't disappointed - I'll probably go back tomorrow too. I had the red curry and it was delicious, hoping to try some other dishes there the rest of the week! If you're visiting as a pair you can most certainly share a curry with two portions of rice as the portion was very generous, then order a few starters amd dessert :)

An excellent place for local food. It is a small restaurant that offers you authentic Thai food. There is enough space to sit comfortably. It has good service and the prices are excellent! Recommended.

Dont eat enywhere else in Samui!!! Not just cheapest in Samui but in Thailand and great flavoured food. Beautiful BBQ broth noodle soup for 60bt, whole grilled snapper for 250bt!!! A Diamond in the rough

If you’re not eating at the local mom & pops while in Thailand you are TRULY missing out! This place has been one of my favorites. I just googled best restaurant near me.. this little place was one of the MANY that showed up, it stood out to me bc it had about 500 reviews and 4.5 stars! In todays world it’s hard to impress that many people! It did not disappoint I’ve gone twice so far and definitely see a third time in my future before I leave. Yesterday I had a noodle dish with veggies and chicken, I also had stir fried morning glory which I have absolutely fell in love with on this trip! And Som Tom Thai which is a spicy papaya salad which is also one of my favorites since being here! it’s so so so good! Today I picked a random dish and of course Som Tom (papaya salad) and it was delicious as expected. Oh and my whole meal today was $5 USD!!! Two thumbs up to Crystal Restaurant from this Cajun girl

Thai food is tasty, portions are medium size. Mango sticky rice was yummy. Very crowded, have to wait for an hour for our dishes to be cooked. Almost all the tables with the visitors were empty with no food and all of us looked at each other’s tables as to when they bring something to eat )). Would not recommend it for the dining unless you have a spare hour. A waiter messed up a bit with our order and brought only one dessert instead of two. In general, it’s a good place to eat at.

Nice cosy place which was very busy.. Service is a bit slow to get menus and ger our order in. The waiter seems to do a reasonable job in serving the full restaurant with some help from the boss The range of dishes is very limited to what the Europeans will eat, so selection of stir fries and curries in single meat combinations. We did find the larb and the papaya salad there on the menu which was good. So, after ordering, our pad thai and the massaman chicken came first. The pad thai looked pretty good. It was tasty, but doesn't stand out from all the other pad thais I have had. Good value but possibly a bit small serving for big eaters. The massaman, when it came out, I could tell it was going to be ultra thin in flavour. It was just the wrong colour as it was verging on yellow. And yes, it was thin and powdery. So possibly from some sort of spice mix or something. Not good. The papaya salad came out 5 minutes later, so I knew they had spent some time and care on grating it and preparing it which gave me hope. No dried shrimp and I wasn't really expecting that here. It actually was pretty good. Very tasty, good heat and tang and at this price, a no brainer to order again. Cocktails. Much too sweet and weak. Didn't really resemble the cocktails they were trying to represent, so particularly poor versions. But the pricing here is amazing in that you probably won't find much cheaper in chaweng. I probably would prefer to go to somewhere a little more authentic, but the food is tasty at a price that can't be beat in chaweng.

Our favourite restaurant in Koh Samui! Amazing variety of dishes and great prices. We ate here at least once every day during our stay and everything was so delicious! And the owners are the nicest people. Highly recommended!

The price is attractive on Samui island, taste was typical tourists area which always under average level Thai restaurant, acceptable but not enough, every dish was not enough portion, I assumed that’s the secret of the price, because normally you must order more dishes than usual.

Open early ! Good for sunrise swimmers who like their breakfast post dip as I see it’s the only place open so early! Decent breakfast menu with plenty of options and kind friendly owner. I had the Toast eggs protein and coffee (130 baht) value for money and it was really tasty. Also had the warm coconut milk with banana which I highly recommend. Coffee was good. Boyfriend got the pancakes and they will bring condiments to the table to use at your own leisure.

Went here for breakfast at 9am. Ordered seafood rice soup (a lil bit salty imo), squid and shrimp was included; squid was really soft and fresh. Chocolate milkshake was good and Iced Thai Tea was the instant 3 in 1 powder (according to owner). All these for 250 baht, should've came here for lunch or dinner

We loved it! We came for lunch, loved it and came back again for dinner. The ingredients are of excellent quality, the size of the portions is generous and the prices are affordable.

Today we had one of the best dinners in 16 days thailand. We ate some massaman curry, garlicrice, stir fried cashew chicken and the mango sticky rice! Everything was perfect and very tasty! The prices are definetly ok compared to other restaurants a little bit cheaper, but in my opinion that don't mean less quality. It seems to be a small family-restaurant, so the service ist very friendly and attentive. Even if it is a small restaurant next to the chaweng main road it has a nice atmosphere. We felt very comfortable! Thank you for everything!

One of the best in Koh Samui. So glad we bumped into it. The food was delicious!!! Very inexpensive and fantastic service. We had the pad kra pow extra hot/spicey, snapper, puk bung (morning glory). Husband and wife team really cared and are serious about giving the best service to everyone who was there. He even warmed up our milk for the coffee, so thoughtful. Highly recommend.

Did not disappoint. Very authentic Thai food at extremely reasonable prices. We’ve been mostly disappointed with Thai food on Samui finding that most restaurants cater to a western taste. Though not bad thing per se, there’s more authentic food out there. This is a cozy mom and pop shop that has an extensive menu- both Thai and western. Though we didn’t have any American food, the Thai dishes we ordered were fantastic. We even received some watermelon on the house for desert. We’re definitely returning for one more meal before we leave.

Simply loved it. REASONABLE RATES. Freshly prepared tasty food. Run by an old couple. Both Thai and western food were available. Drinks are reasonably priced too

Truly a hidden gem! Excellent food at very economical prices. Probably the best Thai food I had in Samui. Shrimp fried rice and stir fried morning glory were particularly excellent. One of the only places where I found deep fried ice cream on the dessert menu as well- it used to be on all Thai menus years ago and we barely get it anymore.

Food was excellent and for a very reasonable price (not expensive). We had a baby with us and the owner was very accommodating offering us banana and bread for the baby. I can only recommend coming here. It was quite empty because of COVID, but give it a try. The food was delicious!

We had a lovely meal here, really recommend the noodle soup and spring rolls. The beer is very cheap and the owners were so sweet, they made sure we didn’t spend too much money on our breakfast by suggesting the cheaper set. So sweet!
