To clear things up first: There's a hotel called "Flower Paradise Bungalows" and the restaurant "Roestiland", both run by Veronika and Franz. They run both the restaurant and the hotel in a very caring, clean and considerate way. On arrival they gave us a map with a introduction to the island and advice on what to do and where to go. Even for things like renting a car and booking a transfer to Koh Tao they happily helped. The staff exudes joy and makes the stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant offers delicious thai and authentic swiss food. They also have a very nice food menu in chinese!

Craving for cheese, we went there to have a try. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the owner couple. The restaurant was neat, tidy and hygienic. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Too many dishes available in the menu. Swiss specialties included fondue, raclette and rΓΆsti. Thai food looked fine. Eventually, we ordered cordon bleu with mashed potatoes and beef fillet strips with mushroom sauce and rΓΆsti as the main plus the house chestnut vermicelli dessert to end the meal. Reasonable price. Tasty food. Special mention was the beef. Super tender, juicy and properly cooked. We liked it and highly recommended. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly.

After 4 weeks in Thailand we were looking for some Swiss Food. I had the Stroganoff and SpΓ€tzli and it was just like at home. Super friendly staff and the food is really tasty. We will come back for sure!

We had a great stay at RΓΆstiland! Vero and FrΓ€nΓ€ welcomed us warmly when we arrived. Hidden behind the garden, the bungalow was clean and cozy. We had pastoral joys spending evenings there. There’s also a Family Mart and a fruit shop, alongside different restaurants within walking distance. What you can expect for a decent Swiss restaurant, you can for sure receive it here. Their fresh homemade dishes cover everything from sausage to Vermicelles, even including Wanderproviant. Would definitely come back when we visit Koh Samui again!

Just a 15 min walk away from Banyan Tree. Had a very delicious and relaxed dinner here. Most of the customers seemed to be regulars. Chef and staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Cordon Bleu was great! Unassuming looking but oozed with juice and cheese the moment it’s cut into! Highly recommended!

Highly recomended. I have driven by at least 100 times in 15 years and finally visited yesterday (thinking when in Thailand eat Thai, not Swiss). Mistake. The menu is not only Swiss and what I ordered was delicious. 5 European soups to choose from, many Swiss specialities and a very wide range of Thai plates. Delicious, fresh, served hot while moderately priced. All nicely presented in relaxing atmosphere. My rice was in the shape of a teddy bear (from Bern?). The Owners are delightful. Their staff were attentive and efficient even when all tables were full. Ohh...and their rooms for rent are clean, spacious and very well appointed too...all you might need for modest price. Bravo!!

Allright, after 3 weeks of travelling Thailand, I wanted to go back to basics… I’ve had the tenderloin with the black pepper sauce. Also tried the RΓΆsti and the mushroom sauce steak. Everything delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was very good and the owners friendly. It is a very good Swiss restaurant here.

We visited Franz and Veronika’s RΓΆstiland for a casual lunch as we stayed in a hotel nearby. The family friendly setup is warmly welcoming and serves authentic Swiss and Thai specialties. We enjoyed a very tasty Cordon Bleu and Thai vegetables and a fried rice. All dishes have been prepared to perfection with beautiful garnish. Very fairly priced and top price & quality ratio. We will definitely come back at our next visit! We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at this restaurant!

This is a really nice place. Maybe a bit hidden. But very good service, very gentle owners and radio Switzerland on the background making the place quite authentic. In fact it was delicious. Quality Swiss food where one may least expect it.

Very nice hotel, I was in the concrete bungalow. It’s a nice room, spacious, clean, with a private terrasse and a sun bed. The bed was the best I slept in during my stay in Thailand, it’s pretty soft for a Thai mattress and lots of cushions, very comfy ! The garden is very pretty with lots of flowers & trees, and you can see & hear animals ( I’ve seen birds, squirrels and butterflies ❀️) Veronica is welcoming and lovely as well as the staff. The food is good and you have Thai or Swiss recipes ( they have raclette 🀩🌻) You’ll need a bike if you want to go around easily or go to Lamai for more animation, but there is several restaurants, cafes, shops & massages salons at a walking distance. I recommend the place it’s nice & peaceful ✌🏼❀️🌻

Love the food probably one of the best swiss food restaurants in Thailand comparable to Chesa in bangkok. Super friendly staff and the owner is super fun. The wine selection was perfect we had a Ripasso from Italy that was perfect and the price was super fair. Thank you very much for the incredible dinner

πŸ‘πŸ‘ My experience at Annie Sweetery & Eatery in Lamai was a delightful journey of vegan and healthy eating.
