Very good family restaurant of Thai food. I liked food here, as it tastes so good. And it also tourist friendly and not hell spicy. Prices are very reasonable but they accept cash only (for now) Owner is very friendly and place is very popular between tourists from different countries. While I would suggest the owner to review his relations with russians, even though they are frequent guests here, but world should understand how to behave with them. Check last photo and date on it. From early 2014, russia started the war in Ukraine

Mr Eung aka Lisa is a fantastic host. He took care of us by himself and his recommendations were all fab! Food was amazing, very well priced and fresh. Rustic environment, open air sitting. Lisa is as much as a main attraction as the giant grilled prawns. We had the best Thai styled fried fish with green mango salad.

Nice local seafood spot. Some seafood is available by weight and bbq or grilled to order. The 4 dishes and 2 drinks we had came to 1360 Thai baht. Everything was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The proprietor spoke decent English and was funny.

Excellent supper here last night! The owner is charming and funny, and made terrific recommendations such that I had my first taste of barracuda! A filet with lots of garlic, it was delicious! Also tried some red snapper and grilled king prawns, wonderful! I would happily come back here 😊

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff; great food - especially fried noodles, curry and fish cakes. Price is very reasonable even it's one of the few restuarants in that area. P.s. They put mosquito-repelling incense under every table which is suprisingly thoughtful for having a mosquito-free dinner.

Best place in Samui for your meal. Super warm welcome from the owner and his family. We enjoyed delicious fresh food here. The atmosphere was nice and breezy, it is a charming authentic local place. And Mr.Eung's sense of humor was a joy! 🤗😊

Phenomenal. Loved every dish we had. WiFi is excellent too. Mr Eung is a delight and ensured we had everything we needed. We came on a Wednesday evening and didn't need to book, but another couple had phoned ahead so options if you have a large group. We had 4 in our group. If in Ko Sumui it's a must visit place. Prices are excellent such fantastic value. 4 adults eat with shared starter and shared desert for under 2000 Bhat.

Mr Eung restaurant is a great place for authentic Thai food. There's a wide selection of seafood, chicken & pork dishes that are all reasonably priced. Mr Eung himself works the dining room and is very accommodating and personable. It's directly across from the Kimpton Kitalay Samui, so if you're staying there, do yourself a favor and walk across the street one night for dinner.

Great seafood and traditional Thai food. 6 of us just turned up for dinner with no resivation this was no problems at all and we were quickly seated. We had so much fun and couldn't stop laughing. All of the food was super fresh and very tasty. Very worth a visit if you're in the area.

The food is good, but its not a real seafood place, you have to see the seafood before you eat it, so I cant say how fresh it was. The location is also nothing special, no sea view, that you'd expect, no design or anything. But it was good anyways! 4 stars is just the right rating

Great spot with delicious food. Had the duck curry, sweet and sour squid and morning glory with crispy pork. Catering mostly for foreigners but the taste remains quite authentic. Their medium spice level is just right: slight heat but you can still taste the food and so no need to chug water after every bite. 3 dishes and rice, 2 big bottle of beers cost us around 700 baht. Pretty reasonable.

One of the few restaurants on Samui that impressed me and on the cheap end (after two weeks). The hot chili fried fish was so good that I swallowed it without pausing to take a picture. Went back three times.

If you want good seafood, pork, veggies - this place is great! Such a good atmosphere and they’re so lovely. We got takeaway in these awesome sustainable cardboard boxes with some beers, all this for 400B! So great.

Great, cozy and family-run restaurant, in a side street to the "main street". Two times already eaten there for dinner and it was always super tasty, the third time follows... Thai dishes, such as Pad Thai, Som Tam or the Green Mango Salad, always delicious and priced okay, also the curry tastes great. Wishes regarding the degree of spiciness are always perfectly arranged by the kitchen. Choeng Mon is a touristy, smaller place where most restaurants are very similar, no matter if offer or prices. The "Mr. Eung" is in any case something special, alone by the somewhat crazy-loving, wacky nature of the chef, always in a good mood, for nice conversations to have and gives great recommendations for the food. Definitely one of the three best places here and you can't go wrong. Dear Mr. Eung and family, it's just wonderful with you, be sure to keep it great and thank you so much!!

Amazing and authentic Thai food. We went there twice :) couldn't get enough of the food. Definitely recommend the fried fish or prawns in paneang curry. We will come back!

I visited two times for this restaurant. Thai food, Pat Thai, Papaya salad, fried fish, fried rice, was so good. Fresh pineapple juice was great as well. Cash only and it closes on Mondays.

Best food I had while in Samui! Visiting from Texas and felt at home here. Found this restaurant from watching Retired working for you on YouTube. Did not disappoint. His laugh and smile is contagious!
