It is a great hotel, but it is very, very far. Great view, rooms, service, and restaurant. But, if you'll want to get to other parts of the city, you're in a bit of a pickle: The distance from the hotel entrance to the main street is 1.1 km, and it includes walking on the road, along with cars (dangerous), and it is steep in some parts.

Avoid this place at all costs! Booking my stay here was the biggest mistake I have ever made. The beach front bungalow listed for 120€ a night was nothing like the images on the website. The room was small, dirty, and lacked basic amenities like a closet. I was forced to keep my belongings in my suitcase and constantly step over it. The rooms are so close together that you can hear every word of your neighbors' conversations. And to top it off, the staff doesn't care about the guests. People were partying until 4am and there was no intervention from the staff. The resort was filled to capacity but they still allowed the partying to continue, making it impossible to sleep. I paid 120€ per night for a filthy room that felt like a low-end hostel. The windows and walls were in dire need of a fresh coat of paint, and there was no beach to be found like the images on the website. The pool area was also in a sorry state. I rarely write reviews, but the poor experience at this resort ruined our vacation in Koh Samui. Do not be fooled by the fake images on their website, save your money and book elsewhere.

Compared to the photos it’s definitely worn out but the worst is the smell of moist and mold in the bungalows (we were offered 3 different, but it was all the same). We move to another hotel, because the smell was not bearable but unfortunately the hotel refused to refund the money. As Samui offers hundreds of better places I cannot recommend staying here.

DO NOT GO IF you won’t rent a motorbike/car or not willing to pay for taxi. The hotel is in a secluded area 20min walk and a very steep hill away from local businesses. GOOD THINGS: -nice views from the pool/restaurant -very good breakfast -nice comfy room. -no noise/peacefull Bad: -toilets need upkeeping -reception personnel hardly talk English, the small guy is very unpleasant.

I think they called the place 'escape' because it has the feel of an inescapable upmarket prison. Place was built like a chicken coop. It was good, having said that. Good breakfast, beach was nice, the place was nice too, had a decent pool. But there was this massive hill, and when i say hill, i mean a huge, pedestrian unfriendly, concrete road built around a small mountain, yet that was the only way into town unless you book an expensive texi for an otherwise 20min walk. All in all, nice place, too far away from town, no tuktuk service, which is very much needed. Great sunsets

Nice staff, great location on the beach. Good pool. Bungalows are stacked next to each-other so doesn’t feel that spacious or private. AC and clean inside. The hotel has its own shop and restaurant (quite expensive). Pillows are like rocks.

I loved my stay here! Highly recommend booking an 'economy room' on the 2nd floor. Super private, balcony with view, and completely away from the bungalow maze. The room is bright natural light, fresh and modern. It was a joy to come home after a long day exploring. Perfect location. Back in a quiet local neighborhood next to the W Hotel. Far Away from the noise-yet super close to everything (with scooter/car). The service is genuinely friendly & warm. There's a little shop with snacks etc. at normal prices which was awesome. Highlight was walking over to the W Hotel beach in the mornings to see the sunrise. One of the few spots you can see the sunrise & sunset! The breakfast was delicious and the pool area is very relaxing and enjoyable to spend some time. Food in restaurant is quality and comfortably priced for the ambiance.

Back for a second visit and already planning my next in January! Fantastic bungalows at great prices. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Loved chilling by the clean beach and the awesome pool. Oh, and you've got to try the Pad Kra Pao with pork belly at the restaurant - absolutely delicious!

BEAUTIFUL AND TRANQUIL. I’ll start of by saying that this location is a bit out of the way with a 10-15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants however with a moped or car this isn’t an issue. There is a small shop with all the essentials and a nice restaurant/ bar, you won’t want to leave this little paradise and the walk although steep is actually very scenic. The 24hr infinity pool is relaxing especially with 99TB cocktails during happy hour. Breakfast wasn’t amazing however it’s an unlimited buffet so great to fill up. Will definitely recommend

Great place to stay. Great value for money. Rooms were tidy and clean with good amenities and great aircon! Pool was a little chilly but great to cool down in during the Thailand summers

Enjoyed the stay here. The rooms were very clean. Access to both beach and swimming pool with few steps. Excellent views of the beach. You can also take a long walk by the beach and experience a truly near panoramic view of the sea. The breakfast was pretty ordinary though with no much varieties. The cost was affordable as well. Stayed here 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had to remove one star because they charged for water bottle besides the 2 free ones which should have been a basic courtesy give it’s summer.

First location-the beach and pool are really nice. The service is good. But is not easy to access and taxi from here to any where are expensive. If you have a scooter it’s no problem. I gave it 3 stars because the maintenance on the room are horrible. A lot of mold next to the sink At the first day the hot water didn’t work. One on the lights don’t work. And we had bad smell in the shower room. The shower head is old and holding to dear life with one screw. And there is a lot of stuff that is not maintained well. I can’t say I had bad stay here but some stuff are really bad.

We booked a 3 night stay and the moment we stepped foot in the room we instantly regretted it. Sadly the photos which are shown online are not a true representation of what they really look. Broken tiles in the bathroom, disgustingly dirty shower drench head and barely working regular shower head. The water seriously smelt like waste and left my hair feeling horrible after washing (even after attaching our shower water filter we brought from home) There was dirt in every corner as if the place hadn’t been cleaned since its opening, not to mention the curtains. The whole place needs some serious TLC. Bear in mind, the hotel is completely out of the way, so walking to a bar or restaurant isn’t an option. We came with high hopes but we now wish we had checked the other reviews. The staff don’t even acknowledge you when entering or leaving. Such a shame as it was the same price as the hotel we stayed at the week before which was faultless and prime location.

My mom and I had a great time here!! We stayed 2 nights with the breakfast add on and really enjoyed it. We got one of the basic rooms but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was amazing. They even gave me almond milk for my coffee instead of cow milk, and withheld the meat from the hash that I really wanted but didn't want the sausage. Just accommodating as heck and very sweet! We walked along the beach and it was really nice. It is a bit of a drive down/up some steep hills but its totally worth it, and gives a nice private vibe away from the city even though its not far off from the buzzing Fisherman's Village. However, I had a scooter and I def would not recommend walking!!

Arrived today for a three night stay with my friend. The rooms are overall good, clean and the beds are very comfortable but the resort overall is basic. We came for dinner at the restaurant which is very very overpriced, and has no atmosphere, the food arrived raw three times and we had to request an alternative option. The customer service was poor, we didn’t receive an apology or any compensation in the restaurant for the extremely disappointing service we received. They also state on booking.com that they have a spa and wellness facility on site, however it has been closed since before covid. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and would look into alternative options in the area which provide a better service at a more affordable rate.

Very pretty resort with a great onsite restaurant. No beach but you can hop directly into the ocean. Had plenty of space around the pool, with no annoying “seat holders”. It’s an intense uphill walk to the main road but the view is gorgeous. The staff are really nice and helpful as well.

A lovely place. Clean, welcoming and great value for money. The only down side is the location, it's a bit out of the way if you don't plan to use transportation. Still, I'd recommend this resort as a good pick for a short stay.

Lovely rooms, extremely comfortable beds and great restaurant. We also rented a motorbike which is kind of the only way to get around here, also the staff tried to overcharge us to stay a second night when we found cheaper online. Would have been 5* apart from that.

Very chill beach resort. We only stayed here for 1 night. The rooms were cute and the beds were very nice. Very soft compared to all the other hotels we stayed in in Thailand. We had to leave early and they prepared a take away breakfast for us, which was very thoughtful of them.

Very disappointing. The "superior" bungalows are all squeezed together. View from the rooms are against the Aircon or of the bungalow in front. Staff didn't even bother to show us our room, didn't help with the luggage and organizing a motorbike. Lots of rusty nails in the sand, other kid got bitten by a dog.

Great place with a nice and quiet atmosphere. Has a awesome restaurant wich serves amazing breakfast. Als scooter rental available for a good price. View is amazing, the place is smaller than you expect so it can feel a bit crampt after a few days…

I had to stay here during my one day quarantine, the place is comfortable and right on the beach. We could not enjoy all the facilities because of the isolation and we where there just for one night, but it’s a nice place to stay for a few days and relax. There is a restaurant that offers room service and has Thai and western food with vegan options.

Beautiful and calm location! Sea not super clear, but better than at popular beaches. Nice simple rooms! Great breakfast!

a pleasant place to stay. The staff is quite friendly, and the room rates are reasonable. However, you may skid off the road, especially if it's wet and you're driving at night. I'm referring to the road before you reach the resort. A bit scary for me but you'll be fine if you're a good driver. They serve breakfast for at least 200 Baht/person, which is a simple style breakfast. Overall, I love this resort. Highly recommended

The location is literally escaped like the name of the resort. The place where hidden and expose to beach front. The scenery in the evening is precious with the view of the mountain which you can see the sun is set behind the mountain as well as the calm of the sea at the front. The pool is suited right next to the beach where you can enjoy the view of the calm ocean since the location of the resort is located in the Bay Area. The resort staff are very friendly and very helpful especially the staff at the restaurant and front desk. If you are looking for the place that very quiet and hidden from outside world. this is the place.

Territory and rooms are nice. Staff is also good, but there's no beach - it's just stairs into the sea. Breakfast is VERY poor - do not take it!

Rooms could use some work: toilet didn’t flush properly, door had a large crack at the top (meaning it’s harder to cool down, and rooms had a fair number of bugs). Tough to get to — airport shuttle didn’t go all the way down to it. Can also confirm from other reviews the issue with thin walls/noise. Positives: right on the beach, good buffet breakfast, Wi-Fi.

The beach view is excellent. But the service is pathetic. The location is away from the main road and the hotel staff take advantage of this. They provide taxi and tickets to full moon Party at 2x price. The receptionist is rude. The rooms are small too.

We really enjoyed our time here. Amazing location and friendly staff with an unexpectedly great restaurant! It’s a perfect place if you like to be away from the noise and busy streets.

good price, surprisingly nice location. • The pool might have some particulate matters fast due to the high traffic. • Some not quite welcome staff. • One of our complimentary water bottles had an ant inside. however, it’s limited parking and not well managed parking issues. some staff didn’t try to be helpful and more willingly welcome. I hope to visit again.

Really good for longstay. Nice and Clean rooms. The rooms have nice and easy furnitures. And W Hotel is directly next to it for enjoying a luxury breakfast or a nice evening at the Bar. Thanks to the Team

Nice hotel although the bungalows are quite close together. Not a problem for me but if you want more privacy maybe look elsewhere. Only downside is location as it's very isolated. Very steep hill that's dark at night but there are scooters for rent and taxis are a fair price.

BEST part about our trip to Koh Samui. Right on a lovely quiet spot on the beach. Lovely clean pool and luxury spotless rooms. Amazing value for money. We felt like this hotel was much nicer than it's extremely expensive neighbours. Super friendly and lovely staff. Great location only a few minutes by car to Mae Nam and fisherman's village but both easily walkable too. We had breakfast included with our rooms and it was AMAZING! choices of Thai breakfast and also lovely eggs/ cereal/ pastries. Also the best orange juice. In fact all the food was delicious.

  • 5/5 Felix R. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice and cozy room, pool and restaurant 3 meters from the beach. Very good Thai food, good western options as well in the restaurant. Very good breakfast, actually one of the best egg benedict I have had in a while. All that while being very reasonably priced and accompanied by friendly and helpful staff.

What a lovely place! Got a sea view cabin. Absolutely gorgeous. Pool lovely. Great place to chill out if you want to escape busy life for a while. Peaceful.

It is a resort for those seeking quite refuge, away from the noise of the city. Still not very far from airport. Beautiful and small banglows with all the basic things. But the best thing about it is beach facing pool with excellent sunset view, and of course, almost a private beach of the resort.

  • 5/5 Jacobus van W. 1 year ago on Google
This is the 5th time we stayed with this resort. We get excellent service with their friendly staff and no problem were ever too big to handle. They serve excellent breakfast and we enjoy walking the beach.

  • 4/5 Patrick van der E. 1 year ago on Google
Good hotel and facilities. Nice infinity pool where you can look at the sunset. Space between the bungalows is quite narrow. Also to go somewhere you always need to do a steep climb.
