πŸ‘πŸ‘ A very beautiful white sandy beach. The water is clear and calm. You can go very far in until it gets deeper. A wonderful place to chill and sunbathe. My recommendation People often mention beach, nice, restaurants, water, beautiful, clear, bars, beaches, restaurant,

This beach can be pretty dirty, especially as too few of the residents care about cleaning up. Many of the hotels have their security guys out on the beach in the night, but non of them uses the time to collect trash. They just stand around. Owners of some restaurants seem to believe the best way of getting rid of their trash is to throw it into the sea to avoid disposal cost. It is our second time here, and at both stays it was at least half of the time when the beach looked very dirty. It seems to affect the northern part of the beach more than the southern part where the island is. It was pretty obvious that at low tide no one was cleaning the beach. They just wait that high tide is taking the rubbish away again. Also we saw a restaurant clerk collecting some rubbish and letting it go later in the sea again.

A great beach with clear warm water and lots to see. Nice soft sand and plenty of bars and restaurants dotted along the beach. One of the better beaches in koh samui.

It’s one of most beautiful beaches in the entire Thailand. Water is mostly clear and beaches are clear. You can get a sun bed for 200 bht and plenty of spots offer massage, spa along with beer and food.

Lovely beach. Some places are very very expensive to rent loungers 2000 that. But there are a few places for 150 that and we even found one place that let us use loungers for free if we bought drinks. Some days we picked a tree and just put our towels down. At one entrance to the beach there are always people trying to get you to pay. We just went to another entrance. Peaceful vibes. Just be aware some sections have lots of rocks but the middle is free of them and the best place for swimming

Nice small beach with lots of massages, restaurants and bars. Make sure to bring your own beach towel to lie on unless you're going to a restaurant: the chairs aren't available to you otherwise. The water is really nice. There's also a beach volleyball and football area where you can play, which is really cool.

An amazing beach on Koh Sumui. Easy access from the road or for many from your hotel. Many of the hotels have their own areas on the beach but there is plenty of space to grab your sunbathing spot. Also plenty of restaurants and bars to keep you fed and watered. We went for a walk along the beach at night and were fortunate to see the natural light show (lighting).

My favorite beach in Koh Samui. It is not too crowded and very clean. There are beach massages available for a fair price, many resorts around that allow you to use their pools, and you can even rent a paddle boat (about 400THB / hour). Cozy restaurants all around and beautiful sunset.

I'm sure this is a lovely beach normally, but do not visit in January. There is a major storm since four days which will at least last for another four days. No beach/sea activities possible during this time, big waves, extremely windy, muddy water, trash everywhere.

Great beach on North East coast of Koh Samui, with good restaurants. Not as well known as Chaweng or Lamai, but a really good beach... Outstanding sunsets.

Very nice and clean beach. The water has a beautiful color and despite not being crustal clear it is clean. Not many people and a very nice vibe with few bars and restaurants.

Lovely little bay, nice and quiet hit with a wide beach perfect for the kids and a scattering of nice bars and restaurants with our being overloaded. Our favorite.

Access the beach by parking at the island view. There are free padded lawn chairs in the shade. There is a beach bar and you can also get a Thai massage. The water is a little rocky but you can still swim and rent jet skis.

Soft sand, a gently sloping shelf into the sea (ideal for kids) and some great beachfront restaurants and bars. A small slice of paradise. We loved it!

It's a lovely beach.... but can be too many people in high season! Although it can be much calmer here than along the more exposed beaches in Chawang... therefore it can be more pleasant.

We read a lot of great things about this beach. Yes, it is very beautiful, less crowded than other beaches, fewer people trying to sell you things or services, but it is relatively short -- we like to walk -- and the water was shallow and very, almost too, warm.

I love the beach, nice morning sunshine and pretty cool night with moon light. One of the beautiful beaches and good choice for relaxing.

Clean beach but way too busy not what I was looking for, felt like club med Marrakech . Too many massages salon , beach clubs , restaurants and bars right on the beach, can’t imagine what it must look like in high season.

Peak season beginning of January, and it was not that busy.. maybe 30 other people on a big stretch of beach. It's nice golden clear sand, quite clear water and very shallow. You can walk out quite a distance. It was very windy with some waves which might not be everyone's ideal beach time. Still very beautiful. Nearby there is 1 restaurant, 2 massage places and a small bar on the north eastern corner.

Best beach in Samui. White sands, some waves, scenic, some water sports and nice food joints on the beach. Not as populated. Not too safe for kids though.
