The Irish owner comes across as a bit of a shark if you ask me. I don't think he practices what he preaches to be perfectly frank. His side kick who does the massages is ok. Bottom line; there are better places to spend your money on Samui if you're looking to detox and or change your daily habits.

I have been a customer of the Source's wonderful herbal products for many years, and I couldn't be happier or more grateful. The owner, Ivor, cares deeply about the well-being of his customers. For him, it is much more than a business, it is a service. His products not only help improve my health, but my mental well-being. I would say also that they create a spiritual uplifting. My favorites are the Flow herbal detox formula and the Formula P parasite cleanse. The Flow formula is a gentle yet most effective colon cleanse formula. In addition, instead of robbing the gut of needed intestinal flora, it rebuilds the colon. Formula P is most effective, and very simple to take. I did Program B at the Source in April for 2 weeks on the OJ fast after trawling through reviews of all the available detox programs on Koh Samui. Previously I did a one week program at The Spa Resorts about 5 years ago. While I had great results then losing 5kg in a week, I was keen to try a program without colonics. I expected to lose at least 5kg again but ended up losing about 1 kg a week instead. I still highly recommend this program as I feel it was a holistic reset and one that is good for your body and soul. I would definitely do it again because I continued to lose weight when I got home even though I was eating again. While I am mindful of what I eat, social events meant I was dining out and drinking and even having dessert but the weight still came off. I think this is because of a full body reset plus introduction of some healthy habits (introduction of 5 minute HIIT workout daily). The entire program genuinely helped me to recover my energy levels. I became very unwell during Covid with my thyroid function destroyed by autoimmunity. The extra weight stacked on during lockdown, being over 40 and having PCOS all worked against me and for the past few years I felt exhausted all the time with no energy. Since coming home from the program my energy levels have returned and I have the bounce back in my step. My skin became insanely soft and silky smooth during the program. I’m back to my pre-Covid figure. I’ve lost weight on the areas that matter especially all the belly fat I was carrying. I was planning to do a detox in April 2022 during my stay in Samui. After various searches on the internet, I came across The Source, which offers a detox package to take away. When I met the owner, Ivor Fitzpatrick, he explained the various options he had to offer him. I chose the 14 Day Detox to Go program and combined it with the Orange Juice Diet Plan. I followed the plan as instructed by Ivor. From day one I had no cravings for food and I felt full of energy. The Source detox program is vastly different from most cleansing detox programs on the island. The herbs they provide are of very high quality and they are very helpful in restoring the vitality of my body after the 21 days’ fast. The capsules ‘flow’ can really help me remove the toxin from my body right from the first day. The other formulas that help to kill parasites and lung helping herbs such as mullein leaves are exactly what I need to help remove my issues in my guts and lung. I have a dark spot under my eyes and according to some Chinese doctors, it means that my liver is not functioning properly (although my liver tests are perfectly ok in hospitals). After having a 21-day orange juice fast using the herbs, the dark spot is significantly lighter. I am grateful for Ivor’s knowledge and his potent herbs. I can’t speak highly enough about the experience - I feel this really was one of the best things I could have done for my health. Some highlights: - Ivor was very knowledgable and not only explained the specific benefits of each part of the program, but gave me a wealth of information about health and nutrition to take with me. - Treatments with Jet Lee were as fantastic as all the reviews say. He really is a master and just generally a pleasure to talk to and be around. - The fresh orange juice was delicious and my energy was surprisingly high throughout except on liver flush days. The herbal formulas are pleasant tasting and easy to take. I already lead a relatively healthy and active lifestyle and was looking for overall health benefits rather than to lose weight. I left feeling great and my skin has never looked better! I chose the Source because I wanted a more bespoke and medically researched program rather than one of the all inclusive resort style detoxes you see often in Thailand. This was my first herbal detox at the age of 24. I had previously completed many fasts & juice cleanses however nothing as amazing as this! It's been now four days since I completed The Source's 21-Day Orange Juice fast. I'm still in a state of disbelief that I lost 14 kgs over the 21 days and only gained one kilogram of it back now after four days of eating breakfast, lunch, and dinners again. I've just finished the herbal detox retreat program, having spent a wonderful 28 days at the Source Herbal Detox in Ko Samui with the welcoming and friendly host Ivor. For the length of time spent on the detox, I was really surprised that I never once felt hungry definitely helped by the freshly squeezed orange juice that was so pleasant to drink each day and fully satisfied me. The quality of the herbal formulas was outstanding and definitely the most potent I have come across compared to other detox programs I have tried in the past. The purity and potency of these herbs is truly amazing and special. It made a big difference for me. For the price, I felt I got above and beyond the value I was expecting. Since returning home, and because I was feeling so good, I decided to keep taking the herbs on a regular basis and Ivor has made it very easy to do this. Best detox program you will find probably anywhere in the world!! What an amazing experience! I did the herbal detox + the liver flush and orange juice fast during 10 days and lost 5kg! It exceeded every expectation I had! My metabolism is very slow and when staying at a weight loss spa once for 2 months it took me almost 1 month to lose the same kgs. My wife and I are doing the detox program. We like how we are feeling, the sluggishness in our bodies is gone, we feel a lot more energetic. The effects of the herbal remedies are not too aggressive in the body, it gently starts to work, we never felt any weakness or tiredness as we are doing it. They are very good at following up with you, making sure you are not having any problem. They also have this gentleman giving you a very soothing acupressure massage and cupping too! I bought a couple extra Flow remedy to use if we need it back home. We highly recommend this place if you need an effective body cleanse.

I have just completed a 7 day detox with Ivor at the Source in Lamai . Although I have a healthy lifestyle and follow a balanced, natural plant based diet I was feeing a bit sluggish and noticing that some patterns had snuck in, like ‘needing’ a daily afternoon pick me up or a sweet treat at the end of the day and decided that a detox would be a good way to reset. The program is simple to follow and well supported and you will receive as much individual attention as you need through the process. I opted for the orange juice fast for the first 3 days and then moved to green juices and clear vegetable broth ( in the evenings ) for the remaining 4 days - I would have stayed with the orange juice for a longer period but my supply dried up after the 3 days so moved to plan b. After feeling a bit of fatigue for the first 2 days a real sense of clarity and lightness prevailed for the remainder of the week. The herbs and tonics support the detox process nicely and I noticed that my digestion continued to work well though the week. This was a gentler detox than ones I have done in the past and I really appreciated the natural approach. I loved the fact that once you have the herbs you could really do this detox wherever you find yourself provided that you have easy access to fruit and vegetables and some extra time on your hands to truly get the full benefit of the experience. I came to the end the week feeling clear and alert, sleeping really well and also noticed a significant decrease to my resting heart rate - a good indication that my body was functioning well. My sweet cravings had also completely gone- this really was an excellent reset! . The Source Herbal Detox was probably one of the luckiest finds I’ve ever had. I stumbled across an advert promoting acupressure, bone adjustments and Chinese cupping. I was feeling a little out of sync, so I thought I’d give it a go! I came out with way more than I’d bargained for. First time doing a detox in my life - will do it every year! What a great experience we had doing a 10 days ultimate detox with lung cleanse, orange juice fasting and liver flush at The Source in Koh Samui! Apart from losing 5 kg, i was really surprised about the fact that I wasnt hungry and had great energy. We did the ‘to go program’ at our house and we had constant support of Ivor, who is helpfull and genuinly interested in your health. I was an avid smoker and it reduced greatly my need for a smoke. I did my first detox programme last year when I visited Samui for the 1st time. It’s been a month since I completed the 10 day herbal detox with 2x liver flushes. I deliberately waited to see if this would be sustainable and it IS! The best weight loss on Ko Samui ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently got food poisoning and my first reaction was to take the parasite formula from The Source Herbal Detox. Luckily I had some due to a recent order of herbal formulas, as I was planning to do another detox which would be my second detox program with them. I took that formula and the Flow colon formula capsules several times that day and the next day I was feeling remarkably better. I repeated it the next day, and by the third day I felt completely normal again. I think I would have been really sick if I had not had the herbal formulas handy. I’ve started to buy the formulas to have on hand as you can treat yourself immediately if you get sick. The Source is also very helpful with responding to any questions about what formulas to take etc. Then I also got what felt like a flu virus and I panicked thinking it could be COVID. I took the Immune formula, Lung Cleanse and Flow formula along with vit c, and recovered very quickly, again because I had the herbs and could treat myself at the onset of any symptoms. i was sick with a throat and lung infection and I took the herbal formulas which were the lung restore formula, the herbal spray and the colon formula for a week. I recently had a consultation with Ivor at The Source and left the experience inspired by his energy, informed by his knowledge and impressed with his integrity. I went to him because I have only ever heard good things about his programs, herbal wisdom and the quality of his product. His clear transmission of information about nutrition was one of the gifts he gave. He encouraged me—though I came to him expecting, as with any business, to be sold something (in this case) a parasite or a cleanse package—to try a different tack first. After carefully considering my answers to his questions about my symptoms, Ivor guided me gently in the direction of making some basic changes to my health care routine at home for 30 days (diet and exercise) before deciding if one of his packages were what I needed. He suggested specific foods at specific times of the day based on the activity of specific organs (as in the Chinese Medicine system). He encouraged me to walk. Sometimes we just need someone to point out the places we’re falling short in self care and gently guide us back to the basics.
