Very poor experience for 2000 baht. Fights are arranged and not real. If youโ€™ve ever seen any other decent fight at any level, youโ€™ll be extremely disappointed at what youโ€™ll see here. Fighters are dancing more than actually fighting. Itโ€™s a very well advertised tourist trap. Stay away

Itโ€™s a good atmosphere at Phetchbuncha Boxing Stadium. The fighters put on good performances; the staff are very friendly etc. Let me give the managers/owners a slice of advice though: if you want more seats to be filled then you need reduce the prices. 1500 baht for a standard seat and 2000 baht for ringside is just too much when you are putting on fights two times per week, and, another thing: these fights you put on are not SUPER FIGHTS, as you keep blasting out from the trucks. These are not world champions competing, and so you need to bear that in mind when charging these prices for your events.

Had a great time The fights where top class Unfortunately the drinks were very overpriced and we paid for VIP seats at $100 aus and they weren't that much better than the $60 seats. A free drink for VIP would have been nice but instead $10 per drink.

Been here twice now and it really is a nice place to enjoy some great Muay Thai fights. There is also an area to have some food and they come take your order for drinks in between rounds. The lady that owns the place is lovely aswell!

Usually not really my thing, but I had a great time there. Ringside tickets are not really worth it, you see the fighters up close when they enter the ring, but even though you are closer to the ring, I think the view would have been better from the cheapest seats that are a bit further away. Although to be fair, I was recommended to get the cheaper seats through the agency I bought the ticket from. Regular tickets were 1500 and ringside 2000. Beer was 90 or 80 baht. Oh and they play the anthem of the Rocky movie before the games starts, that was awesome!

Amazing night, no matter where you sit you have a great view. Atmosphere is electric. Fights are incredible, must-do when in Koh Samui

I enjoyed the Muai Thai. Prices were not reasonable and the amount charged to foreigners (farang) paid for the locals to attend.

I researched the stadiums here beforehand and wasn't disappointed with my choice. Was almost a full crowd and the boughts were well matched. Big screen, drinks service, live Thai music. More expensive than years ago but still a great night out.

We liked it, but during the fights there is way to much Light in the stands. We have bin in many places in Thailand for Muay Thai fights, but this is to much. Because of the Light in the stands, the atmosphere is a bit off. And first time a stand " only for Thai". Feels a bit " strange "

Flights were amazing, however the venue was pretty hot. Tolerable and still had a great time.

You can buy tickets at the door.. No drinks allowed from outside.. So humid and hot inside.. My power bank fell down beneath the stadium seats and the staff were so friendly and cooperative and got it back for me.

My guy is into fights, Iโ€™m not really into them but I wanted to see since we are in the land :) the stadium is well done, intimate and they serve drinks which is fun! Easy access restrooms and good service ! I really liked how the did it/ on time and professional. Everything had a good flow for entry etcโ€ฆ

Worst advertising campaign. Trucks drive around all day blasting the same song over and over around town promoting their events. Turned me right off seeing any of their fights. Donโ€™t know how the locals put up with it.

Me, my sister and my mother were a bit skeptical about this seeing past reviews, but we've been pleasantly surprised! The fights were real and hard, the staff was kind and the place not too hot, of course fights are all different and one may be more interesting then another, but if you never seen one it is definitely worth it!

Good night out. Covid has shut down all Thia arenas and this was the first one back. Nice little venue. Its a small local club. All very friendly outside of the ring.

Nice little arena. We watched local muay thai boxing. There is even service so drinks are brought to your place.

Great fun and a real spectator sport! Bit pricey at 1500Bt for cheap seats but where else can you watch professional Muay Thai

I visited here on my last trip to samui to watch an Irish boxer take on a thai boxer. The thai guy won on points, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, as I took in all six fights. Phetch buncha stadium hosts fights, twice a week and is great entertainment for anyone looking for an alternative to sitting at a bar for the night. Foreigners and Thais take to the ring, and train hard for their fights. Drinks are available at the bar, and waitresses will tend to you from your seat. Ringside and vip seats cost more, but I could see perfectly fine, from the normal seats.

An experience worth going to see, saw 6 Muay Thai fights. The fights were good, apart from the first which was a gross mismatch and thankfully stopped by the ref early in the second round. Geared towards tourists with the locals in a 'Thai only' section where they get in for free. This section is full and they know some of the fighters so are good for the atmosphere.

Had a great time at the stadium watching 6 fights. Entertaining and crazy. If you dont know what to do and you would like to see some Thai culture, go. But there will be blood:) Well organised and the 6 fights o ly took about 2 hours. Enjoy

One of the best things we did in thailand. I would recommend trying to see some thai boxing while you are there. It's a huge part of thai culture. The fight we saw was a friend of one of the receptionists at our hotel. Ticket prices seem expensive but you get a whole night of entertainment it goes on until quite late also Drinks are cheap once you are in. Beers and cocktails are available in the stadium itself and depending on where you sit you can get table service.
