Upon arrival we were told that our booked and already paid room wasn't available and offered us an inferior room type. They blamed Agoda but in previous reviews overbooking was already mentioned before as an issue so I guess one can simply not trust this resort. Of course mistakes happen but they could at least offer us lunch or something as we lost the whole day by getting there for nothing and searching for a last minute alternative. It also took me 4 days and 5 mails to resolve their issue myself and get a refund. But hey: as this is a yoga resort I'm sure KARMA will do it;)

We LOVED staying here. The location is stunning and Sonya and her team made us feel so welcome and were brilliant at helping us book tours/taxis/generally getting around. The beach is pristine and really quiet, and you just can’t beat breakfast with that view every morning, and because it’s West-facing, the sunsets don’t disappoint either :-) Breakfast is fairly basic but with good vegan options and the lunch and dinner menu was excellent too in terms of catering to meat-eaters and vegans. The rooms / facilities could do with a bit of a spruce-up in places (some window frames were a bit rotten, the shower wasn’t powerful or particularly warm) but it wasn’t anything enough to really bother us. I’d really recommend this place!

Beachfront Deluxe Bungalow-2 nights Superior Bungalow-1 night The resort is on Lipa Noi beach, a very beautiful quiet location, far from Koh Samui main town, be prepared to ride for at least 20 mins if you are going there. The support staff were very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delightful. In spite of all these, the resort felt very commercialized. The Beachfront Deluxe Bungalow lacked privacy, We had to always keep the windows, door and curtains closed as there were people sitting and talking, walking within 5m of the property. I guess if someone is planning to not stay at the property during day time, they wont have the issue. The exercise session runs from 9, Monday-Friday, you have to pay to join a session, and private classes run from 6-9 am.

Sublime wellness and nature-inspired property. Anchored on stunning & natural Lipa Noi beach, it’s part of Ko Samui’s rural countryside. Warm staff, books, Yoga and detox. Must visit

We stayed there a couple of days but we’d readily go back any time because our experience there was simply amazing! The place is charming, quiet, relaxing, right at the beach front, great for those looking for a chilled holiday while doing yoga and meditation to the sound of the waves. The food at the restaurant was also great. They offer a great selection of Thai and international dishes at affordable prices, with a ton of vegan and vegetarian options. It was more expensive than most local restaurants but still worth it!

A great resort for vacation and retreat with friendly staff and a beautiful view on the beach. - A very good restaurant (200-350thb/dishes). But close at 9pm (like everything in the neighborhood) - Spa (massages 500tbh min) - A large scale of expedition (elephants sanctuary, boat tour etc). - easy car and scooter rental (250 thb / day) Nevertheless, have in mind that the location isn't ideal for going out at night or parties, there is nothing close except little shops on the big avenue. So scooters are the must to move around the island. You have to take a taxi to go on Lamai Beach (800 thb). If you're looking for a good and peaceful retreat, this is it. Thank you for those beautiful days.

First of all the people there are super nice and friendly. Always happy to help. The location is on a more quiet part of the island and without a scooter you won’t get anywhere pretty much. The resort in and of itself is nice. You got a beautiful beach and the rest of the resort is clean with a nice garden. You can also get a Kajak for free. The hotel restaurant is certainly more pricey than restaurants in the area. The food has a higher focus on cleaner ingredients and it’s okay. It tastes good and for the price like I said it’s okay. Oh and sometimes the music could have been more chill in the restaurant. It’s not always so relaxing to have dinner to constant ed sheeran music :) Rooms are clean and have the basics of what you need.

GORGEOUS property with lots of available services for a wonderful stay. The office set up our airport transfers and moped rental, which was so convenient. All staff were so friendly and nice. I attended a wonderful outdoor yoga class with Dimitri - they are scheduled every morning. The beach is pristine and was steps from our door. The atmosphere is laid back and quiet, so relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be back!

Really well located if you want a calm place where you can chill, read books and just enjoy the beach. The people who work there are very nice especially in the restaurant where they are super friendly and attentive. Nothing bad to say about this place. Food is good enough nothing special but does the job. Breakfast is awesome. The weight room will allow you to get a quick workout but it is very minimal.

Lovely spot in a rather peaceful area of the island. We booked a bed and breakfast bungalow, and after checking the complex's website, I had the impression that they catered to all dietary restrictions. Regrettably, breakfast wasn't as straightforward because there were no labels for food or drinks, and the staff couldn't distinguish between vegan and vegetarian options, nor could they tell which items contained eggs, milk, or gluten. For instance, they offered me chicken noodles as a vegan dish. Your menu is wonderfully detailed with infographics and notes. Why can't you apply the same approach to breakfast?

I went there to do a juice detox. The location is perfect, lipa noi is one of the best beaches in Thailand, quiet, beautiful clear water & the beach is also clean, unlike lamai All the staff were caring, friendly & attentive. The front office staff, Plyo, Nan & the rest of the team were very accommodating & helpful. I had Reiki, chakra healing and a 1:1 yoga session with Gil who is amazing. All the practitioners & yoga teachers were of a high standard & the beach yoga sala is gorgeous. My only negative is that Anahata caters for detoxers and holiday makers at the same time. It would be a fantastic place if it was only a health retreat. Despite that I came away feeling relaxed, healthy & cared for

There are places in your life where, when having a bad day or it’s raining outside, you think back to. This is one of those places. We extended our stay twice! The staff are the standout part - consistently friendly and caring - all of them. Rooms are spotless. The food is excellent (including dinner - buddha bowls and smoothies amazing). Breakfast is great with fantastic coffee. There is daily yoga. They extensively grow their own vegetables. Book exchange. They have a brilliant standalone gym with lots of equipment. Friend lost (then re-found) his phone, and the staff were so genuinely concerned and helpful. Stunning sunsets every night, with a lovely beach. This side of the island is lovely and not too touristy - our favourite location in a multi-pronged stay.

Had such a nice stay here - location, staff and facilities were great! If you’re coming here for the yoga I really wouldn’t recommend it. I did sunset yoga with a male yoga teacher who assumed that physical adjustments were a given, and it took me three times of being adjusted before I could actually voice that I was uncomfortable with it. I spoke to him at the end of the class to which his response was ‘there are many people in the class’. I think it’s completely unacceptable, especially as a male in a predominantly female space, to assume it’s okay to touch other people without consent. I didn’t go back to do any yoga, unfortunately this was one of the main reasons I booked Anahata :(

I stayed at Anahata resort for 24 days during my yoga teacher training. Anyone doing a YTT knows , how challenging this is on a physical and mental level and how important it feels to have a sense of being home somewhere. Anahata and its people really made me feel like I am at home. the bungalows are big with their own little Terrasse, the vegan and vegetarian food and shakes are amazing as well as the people working in the restaurant! Also, the manager Pui and Sonia were very supportive in any issue during my entire time. Thank you ladies ! The hotel is in a quiet region, so I recommend renting a car with the hotel. The massage at Anahata is mind-blowing. The hotel is dog friendly. The beach is beautiful, quiet and clean. It’s hard to leave that place, but I definitely will come back.

A realy nice place to be with a beautyfull beach and good service. The rooms are not the newest but clean. The shower got some problems with the Temperatur. Realy good food options for vegetaryen and vegan people.

This place is aweful. I wanted to eat breakfast there and they just looked at me like I am a crazy person and shouldn't be here. I asked if they are open but they really seemed not happy that I came there. But then they said "It's ok". Then I took a menu and sat down and they just ignored me but continued to serve the hotel guests. Later on I joined the yoga class at 9.00. I don't know where he did his TTC but this dude is the absolute worst yoga teacher I had in my life. Aside from touching me in a uncomfortable way without asking, he had absolutely no sensivity and just corrected me with "no, this is wrong". Like bro, there are different variations of the same pose. This is not a yogi way at all. Also overall it felt like a weird excersise-pilates class. DO NOT GO THERE FOR YOGA! You can definitely find better spots on the island. For example Essential Yoga Studio on top of the hill. Classes 7-8 in the Morning but totally worth it!

We tried out 6 different places in Koh Samui, ranging from 30€ to 300€ per night. And we have to say, this is the best place. Sonya (hotel manager) and her amazing colleagues at bar, reception, housekeeping are just tremendously fantastic and friendly. Beach and area had a very positive spirit, breakfast and dinner was the best we had on Koh Samui. Really great atmosphere. They took care of everything. We will come back next year!

Anahata has a lovely staff, great restaurant for lunch and dinner, the view from our room was awesome and the bed was comfortable. And we loved having our own sunbeds. The bathrooms need a huge facelift. We had the leftovers of a broken towel rack and a retractable metal mirror holder without the mirror, a plastic tub with dings, a showerhead too low for my Dutch husband. The beach was gorgeous and calm. Breakfast was underwhelming and was unmarked so unclear on the ingredients. Limited options for a vegetarian with celiac. Menu is marked for plant based and nuts. We enjoyed the yoga steps from the beach.

Fabulous resort in Koh Samui. I stayed there last year and chose the rejuvenation detox program. I spent a few days in paradise. Everyone was fantastic, excellent service by everyone and great food next to a beautiful beach. I highly recommend it. Since the moment I arrived I felt at home due to the warm welcome of the staff.

Nice quiet and clean bungalow resort, with daily yoga classes in a beautiful yoga shala and also space to do your own sports program. Very nice staff and a good breakfast buffet.

It was incredible! Thank you Anahata Resort for the stay, it was a pleasure to meet all the people working in the resort every morning! The girl in the reception-Nan, was amazing. She was so helpful, she was there every time we needed help, thank you very much and can’t wait to see you again! People in the restaurant were so cute and kind! We loved every conversation with them, every smile, every “hello” in the morning! It was amazing guys❤️ The rooms are really clean and spacious. The area of the hotel, the beach, palms, views are just so incredible. Food in the restaurant is so yummy and nutritious, we loved it. Coffee, juices and fruits, wow! We loved our stay, i think it will be always my choice while being on Ko Samui. I can’t wait to come back and see all the kind and loving people in Anahata Resort!🤍🥹

Such an amazing experience! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the staff were so friendly and helpful! They cleaned our rooms from top to bottom with fresh linen everyday. The food in the restaurant was also amazing with such a good variety! Overall very happy , couldn’t fault it!

We came because the retreat promised relaxation, peace and quietness. The retreat, bungalows, breakfast, yoga, pool, beach and staff is all very (!) beautiful... ... BUT: 1) we arrived on a Sunday and the whole bay was full of loud music and we learned that the other beach club has a (loud) party every Sunday the whole day, 2) there were lots of day tourists, mostly Russian families, who entered the beach just in front of our bungalow, they used the beach beds, the pool, facilities and were running through the whole resort - and the staff of the resort accepted this, even without paying for except just buying one pizza for 10 people from the restaurant. Both was really annoying to us and to other guests and it spoilt us our last days of a 6 weeks trip. If you want something really peaceful and quiet without (Russian) day tourists entering the resort, you should try to find another place - in case that is possible at all on Ko Samui...

It is not fancy hotel but it is the way it should be when you stay at home. The vegan food here is amazing with lot of nutritions. Khun Ann, Khun Nan and Simon takes good care of all the guest but also give you privacy.

An and her team have created a relaxing environment. It was perfect for a fitness retreat. The specialists in Yoga and Thai boxing were excellent. The schedule was made up of 2 group classes per day and a private lesson. The daily massages were a welcomed treat! The resort staff work together to give a holistic approach to your stay. Excellent value for money and I would definitely return. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious.
