The hotel is nice enough, perched on a cliff, tumbling down towards the sea, with little huts among the green garden. The breakfast is good, with lots of options - this is the positive. Staff service is a mixed experience: great at the restaurant and room, but much to be expected on the beaches. And this is mainly why we are so dissatisfied: the beaches are dirty, without exception. I like wild beaches, so it is a plus not to maintain them, but the construction debris is quite common on the small beach. The sea brings garbage to the shore every day. There are large patches of floating garbage all around the hotel and the coral cove. The corals are in bad condition to say the least, and littered with all sorts of stuff that I cannot begin to list. We were appalled that nobody, such as the hotel management and the management of neighbouring hotels, is doing anything to restrain the garbage from reaching the shore and collect it/clean the beaches. If you want to come here for the corals, like we did, be warned: they will not meet your expectations and the picture is rather sad, with garbage ending up in your hair, most likely, while you snorkel. Also, there is limited seating on the beach - seats get taken away fast. When asked for more seating to be brought down, I was told none is available. When I managed to put together two pieces of a scrap seat spread on the dirty beach, and asked for a seat cover/mattress, I was told none were available. I find it frustrating that the hotel cannot accommodate beach seating for its guests. Pool seating fills up fast as people just drop their towels in their preferred seats early in the morning and that's that. I show up and seats are mostly taken, though there's barely anyone there. Those seats that are left have no shade or umbrella - so good luck. When I asked the hotel about their policy on people booking seats by dropping towels but not using them, I got a shrug for response. Oh, and while the road noise does not get through, the clubbing noise does at night, from some neighbouring club, I am sure. I enjoy falling asleep listening to music, but it can get quite annoying sometimes. Avoid this resort if you can. Pay a bit more to snorkel somewhere else.

I'd recommend this place. Breakfast is pretty decent, infinity pool is nice, staff was mostly helpful, despite the language barrier. They also have scooter rental services, which was alright, it's mostly old scooters everywhere, but it seemed well serviced. The one thing that wasn't amazing was the ocean there. I suppose they can't do much about it and it seems like all of Thailand has this issue, but floating dirt/garbage on the shore made me stick to the pool swims rather than exploring the ocean, even though I heard the snorkelling there could be cool. I live on a beach anyway, so glad I didn't come all the way to Thailand for the waves. If you rent a scooter, you'll be fine to get to anywhere, like other good massage places (recommend Vibes Massage) and some traditional Thai restaurants (Lim Long and Silver Spoon are good).

This hotel has some amazing views! It was a pleasure waking up every morning to see the ocean, the amazing blue water roll onto the beach. We had a regular room but our view was fantastic. We did view a villa to upgrade but the view was definitely not superior. We loved the amazing pool and spent a couple of days around the pool to get our tan on. We did eat at the restaurant for breakfast as it was included. The breakfast had reasonably enough options but no gluten free bread. We enjoyed a couple of other meals in the restaurant and the food was good. The only thing I could share was the staff come by every 5 or so minutes to pick up plates etc as soon as you are done with them, this was a bit too much for us when we were trying to relax and enjoy. We also received our desert one night when we were not even completed our meal. It had ice cream and was a heated dessert so my recommendation is don’t order your dessert with your meal. Honestly this was one of our favourite stays in Thailand for the amazing views and the pool.

Amazing views from this resort. The infinity pool is great. Breakfast spread was good. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Good at restaurant was good. Really relaxing atmosphere they. They do provide 2 wheelers on rent and charge per 24 hours. People are really good there.

The rooms are very nice and the staff is very friendly. So far for us in Thailand, this is a little more of a high end resort compared to others we have stayed in. They have two pools with ocean view and I believe from all rooms you can see the ocean too. The rooms are spacious and have a luxurious feeling. The wifi connection is a bit bad though.

The hotel is right on the main road - you’ll hear all Samui traffic. That made my stay not ideal. The rooms are new and clean but a bit dark. The beaches are lovely. Both of them are clean (no trash) but the loungers there don’t seem to be taken care of by staff. The food is so-so: I’ve ordered onion soup and will attach a picture of what I got. Not a lot of breakfast options either.

We were here the week before Songkran and it was quiet. Not a lot of people around, which was nice. The food is varied and pretty good. The rooms are clean and modern in design. The whole resort is built on a cliff, so be prepared for steps if you intend a visit to the beach. We made the mistake of heading left to the beach. You'll find broken sun loungers and lots of plastic littering the gravely beach on this side. The steps to the right take you to a better looked after cove. Lots of rocks. A bit out of the way, so transport is a must if you want to get around. I'll post the video on YouTube. Look for Our Man In Bangkok for more reviews.

Place is not convenient and not close to amenities. Photos are exaggerated . Included breakfast is a nice touch. Place is literally near a rocky and cliff-like area but the view is great. Most rooms are obstructed by trees and those who have some decent views are doubled the price. The hotel lacks a gym. Staff are friendly. Reception does not share information unless there’s a profit for the hotel like how to get a taxi as they have their expensive ride. Rooms are a bit old style . The room I got had a door separating it from next room so we could hear the people next door easily. They took our towels away and didn’t replace it . We mentioned it twice but no one replaced the old towels for 24 hours. Internet has constant issues . Definitely overrated.

Very nice and modern resort with cozy villas. If you got the money pay extra for sea view, it’s worth it . Best breakfast in the whole Thailand and we stayed in several other places to compare . (One of the best omelets in hotels at all) Very kind employees that were trying to help us . There is very nice infinity pool with beautiful view as well. There are two beaches but depends on the weather , we could swim in the sea only once in 4 days , because of big waves . Stayed for new years Eve and it was little bit crazy. Closed bar from 11pm so ( before midnight) and before that live performance of Asian music which was super loud anywhere in the resort and you could not even talk to each other . It was annoying . Very expensive drinks and super slow service. (Drinks were 2-3x price somewhere else )By the time you get a drink , you need to order another so you have something to drink.

We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony. The view was nice as we could see the sea, the pool and garden. The two pools were clean and it was nice relaxing in the infinity pool. We did snorkelling on the Coral Cliff beach, many colourful corals and many different fish by the rocks. Borrowed mask and fins for free. Definitely a unique setting for the hotel and bungalows.

They provide snorkelling gear near the poolside. The rooms were nice and clean, service at the bar and counter were excellent. Water pressure for the shower a little weak but our experience there was overall amazing and great. The beach is rocky and the sand is mostly filled with coral rocks but there are many fishes in the rocky areas, even saw an octopus! The view from the infinity pool is relaxing and great. We enjoyed having drinks at the bar and the staff provided excellent service. They remembered our orders the second night we went and were very polite. Definitely recommending this accommodation to people and the price of the rooms are not too steep. It's on a cliff though so there are quite a number of steep steps to and from the beach.

smoking allowed (YUCK). good room price compared to close resorts, large resort, w restaurant and several different beaches down different steps, coral. snorkel equipment for rent, spa service pool, bar, happy hour. staff spoke basic English but were not overly friendly or helpful. rooms nice, large shower. some rooms have better views than others. some bungalows have poor views (just trees). parking, scooter rental. updates scheduled for 2018. only thing we noticed to update was the steps and railing, otherwise, for price it was good.

Beautiful view from our room. Friendly staff. Good food, fruit shakes and drinks. Awesome infinity pool. Several small beaches you can expect to be alone. The sea wasn’t very clear on our stay, but others say it’s very clear.

A nice hotel, super friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. Loved the two pools, less so the sun lounger towel reservers. The beach could be cleaner, but rubbish seams to be a general problem in Thailand. The air conditioning didn’t work properly in our bungalow, so it was mostly freezing in our room. All in all, good value for money.

Great place to stay, nice rooms, hospitable services. however, you cannot go by foot to many places. They have daily scooter rentals... I went while it was raining. There were taxi services provided by the hotel and taxis we're plentiful... There was a fantastic infinity pool and a regular swimming pool with a bar nearby. I highly recommend you staying here during the summer time or dry season.

Nice partial sea view on the upper unit at the corner. Great room layout with outdoor and indoor balcony. I didn't see mosquitoes in the balcony. Wifi is OK most of the time. Good breakfast with yogurt. 4 pillows. Hair towels. Room 405 was great. No bath tub though.

We enjoyed our stay at Coral Cliff, we were there for 6 nights. The Seaview villa was nice and felt relatively modern. The hot water was temperamental but otherwise the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and we got 2 water bottles everyday. The breakfast buffet was standard with lots of offerings. The infinity pool was beautiful and a nice place to relax and have a beer/cocktail. We hired a scooter directly from reception, costs were 250 baht per day or 600 baht for 3 days. Short journey to Vikasa Yoga Retreat. The resort beach was fun for snorkelling, we saw lots of fish and coral. The staff were very friendly. 🙏

Myself and my partner had a wonderful stay at Coral Cliff. The staff are all lovely and extremely welcoming, and the views from the villas and the pool area is unbeatable. It’s a great location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle- but still just a 5 minute drive from the town Lamai. If you have a scooter or car it’s very easy to get to other places. Excellent value for money

We stayed in the sea view villa. Bungalows on the beach have nothing in common with the villas up the hill. Pluses: Right by the beautiful Coral Cove beach, on top of a small hill. Has a bath, which is a luxury for Thailand! Has study area and eating area in addition to the bedroom area and a large terrace. The terrace has a deck-chair and a swing-chair (although the latter was a bit short for my 173 cm). Furniture on the terrace differs by villa. The mattress is comfortable. Has a kettle and some dishes/cutlery. There are many cushions. Quality furniture (not in all villas). Villas facing the sea have more privacy than garden view ones. The villa was cleaned every other day. Minuses: Wifi intermittent, not reliable. Sometimes no connection at all. Small fridge. Toilet shower is too strong. The villas seem to be a bit neglected. The sink didn't properly drain. There was dust on the tables and bedside tables. The tap in the bathroom was really old. Some bulbs were not working. There seems to be no management present. Everyone is in the restaurant by the beachside bungalows. Breakfast quite mediocre: two fried eggs, a piece of ham, two slices of white bread, butter, marmalade, fresh orange juice, only Lipton black tea or very strong (too strong for my taste) coffee with milk. Staff don't seem to be interested in you in any way.

The view from my villa was amazing! Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. Booked it for two nights and it was really worth it! The manager picked me up from the airport for 300 Baht, which is totally fine. If you are looking for a nice villa with an amazing ocean view in a quiet place this is the best place to go! Totally recommend it!

Great place, we liked our room, the pools and the restaurant. Staff is friendly. The beach isn't that nice, it's quite small and rocky.

Really a cool hotel, but, far from most things. It's pretty secluded, if that's your thing. The beach there was messy, and covered with trash. Could be much better. Breakfast was below average.
