Amazing view, decent drinks, okay snacks, not too pricey. However, they need to either train or fire the entire FH staffs. The online system is linked to the black hole and nobody told us, until we went and ask, nobody came to get orders. They could not get this one glass of Iced Americano and a glass of Green Tea Latte out in 40 minutes after we asked several times, most folks in our group have already finished their drinks and snacks, and we still had two friends still waiting for their drinks. Well, c'est la vie.

Very nice view of both South side and North Side! There’s a local band inside the place and the menu looks interesting although I haven’t ordered yet. But the energy gave me enough curiosity to come back and give a try to the food

We visited the Cocoon in the morning for brunch. Parking was on the side of the road in front of the restaurant. We arrived early enough to easily get a table and had the option to choose the view that we wanted. The design of the restaurant was chic and picturistic, especially with all the glass-free windows and walls (which may be a problem if you visit with small children). A detrimental aspect of this beautiful view is that the restaurant has the same ambient temperature as outside. At the time we visited, only the all day breakfast menu was being served, but we really enjoyed our choices anyway. My highlight was the breakfast burrito. I really, really liked that the drinks were served in glass containers with biodegradable straws.

Great place for a view point!! Really recommend if you are coming to Samui. The way up quite steep just be careful with driving up there. And not much parking space tho. Better going with motor bike in a rush hour. There are some of vegan food but not a lot. I had smoothie bowl that excluded yogurt. The taste still fresh and great.

The Cocoon is just awesome! The staff efficient, the food delicious and the view stunning! There are tables on the verandah to take in the view our you can sit inside which is just as good. There aren't many Thai dishes to choose from but the burgers are great! You have to try the chicken wings though, to die for! Don't worry about getting back durn the mountain if you came up in a taxi as they'll call one for you when you are ready to leave. The décor is great and the thatched roof is really lovely. The breakfast menu looked great and according to the staff is quite popular. Highly recommend.

I recommend visiting this wonderful place. This offers a very beautiful view of the island. Very tasty food and presentation, pleasant music, cozy interior, very friendly staff. This is one of the best places on the island that I visited. The cocoon serves breakfast all day, a varied menu and drinks. It's good here at any time of the day.

We were here on 18/12/22. We got here for a breakfast, brunch and immediately loved the location. The views are great, was lovely weather to add to the overall ambience. We ordered quite a few dishes amongst the 8 of us and had a great brunch. Lovely and recommended!!!

Fantastic place for lunch. Love the view. Choco Monster smoothie was super chocolaty, chicken burger was stuffed with juicy chicken. Cool chill vibe. Not cheap but not crazy expensive either. What you’d expect for a place like this.

Coming here mainly for the view, and definitely not disappointed with that. Food menu looks variety enough. We did order several things, they were just ok, and price is rather high. Hummus was definitely not authentic, not smooth and creamy at all. Salad was pretty good. Portions are fulfilling for both. Many people were taking times to take photos.

A View To A Lunch...While it can definitely be considered a "tourist trap", The Cocoon Viewpoint Restaurant is totally worth the trip up into the hills of Samui. Just be sure to get there early to get a table with a great view since it gets busy. The views are spectacular, the vibe is kitschy island charm and the food delicious... especially when paired with a bottle of Australian sparkling. The staff was very friendly too. We'll definitely go back here on our next trip to Samui and plan to have dinner with a sunset view. And in a first time for everything, check out the bathroom notices! 😆

Recommend to be there before sunset, uphill and you will find excellent view there. Nice live song, great food and reasonable price. Salmon steak is super cool, we order 2x.

We liked the place. Excellent for chill out. The view was spectacular. The relaxing net protruding over the hill is super cool. Dare to try 🤔 Ordered kombucha - a fermented tea infused with passion fruit and another with turmeric and ginger. Tasted good but a bit disappointed as we thought it's handcrafted there. The restaurant was very proactive. Survived even in the worst pandemic outbreak. Sunset live music, ladies' night... Do check their Facebook page for updates. Shall pay another visit to try out the menu that looks really amazing!

An incredible restaurant with amazing food! The view is great and it’s not too difficult to get to - The interior decor is very nice, Would visit here again for sure. Just note they do add a 10% surcharge on top which can make it quite costly

The place has a great, incredible vibe! The best place we have been to on the island! It has the view of the both sides of the island and is a really great place for sunset! Magical experience! The food was really good to and worth its price! The service can improve, but it was great too! Honestly, the place is all the way great! Thank you for hosting us! We got a few drinks, papaya signature salad with salmon and shrimp, pad Thai and truffle fries. Stand by all the dishes and will have them again! Big thank you to the owner, the chef, and the designer of the space.

At first, we visited for the view, but we also decided to order some food. The iced coffee was delightful, but the food was average. Nonetheless, the place has a fantastic vibe due to its stunning view. The staff were attentive and well-trained. The pricing falls within the mid-high range.

Came here for breakfast before catching a flight to Bangkok - perfect location for food before a flight as it is right by the airport. My breakfast was super delicious and they catered for me being a vegetarian and took off the bacon and sausage from the set meal and added avocado for me🥑😃. My fresh orange juice was also one of the best I’ve had on my holiday. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Not to mention the view which is just insane! Absolutely loved it here, would definitely come back again!🏝️

Really great place, a total find on my trip. Super views, airport views, service is above even usual good Thailand service staff very polite and good English. WiFi good bit quality of food and presentation is excellent. It's expensive but price is fair. Be careful on the road up or down in the rain!

This place is absolutely stunning and it’s a worth while viewpoint to visit. This spot is particularly noteworthy because it has a stellar menu (we’d gone back three times by the end of our holiday). Our waiter Soe was very kind and attentive!

Fantastic! We came here for breakfast and fell in love with the place. With some of the most beautiful views, chill vibes and amazing staff, it was hard to leave! We had the zucchini pancakes and truffle omelette. Both were super fresh and delicious. Highly recommended place to visit!

This is a wonderful hidden gem tuck away on a beautiful viewpoint. I wasn’t expecting much from the food but it definitely blew us away. The staff are very attentive and the dishes were fantastic. There is no aircon as it’s an open air restaurant, but there was enough wind coming through that we never felt overheated. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch.

Very calming, intimate atmosphere in the evening (the best time to see the place in my opinion, the weather is great and you can experience the captivating sunset). Highly recommend the combination of passion fruit and pineapple for a shake to those who like it sour. The stuff and hostess were very kind and welcoming.

Such a cool spot, the view is incredible! Glad we ate outside and the weather was nice! Wasn’t the best poke bowl I’ve had but definitely not bad. As they continue to add nice additions to this place it’ll be even nicer (steps on ledge seating, nicer fence) but definitely worth coming to & glad we did!

Came in the morning . The only customers in the restaurant. Great food, expensive plus service surcharge 15% included in the bill. No issue , we pay for a view which is gorgeous. But the romantic breakfast was spoiled by the staff cooking their breakfast. Guys, really, if I'd like to have my cappuccino in a cloud of fried fish sauce I'd go to the night market.

The views are magnificent here and it's fun watching planes take off or land from the airport. The English breakfast is very good and the other people in our group enjoyed their burgers and vegan poke bowl. We did have some issues with certain ice creams not being available, but it has been really hot weather, so perhaps they had a run on ice cream! We came here during COVID when it was under previous management and things seem to be improving since we last visited. Friendly staff, we will definitely be back.

Breathtaking view, friendly staffs, gorgeous decor and very peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend you go there at least once when you are travelling in Koh Samui. The airport is nearby, so You can also watch the planes taking off and touching down the runway. The food was good, they also serve great cocktails. Though this restaurant seemed a little expensive, but for for the view it was worth it.

Atmosphere and view were very nice! We went on a rainy day and it was still very beautiful. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine and cocktails. The night we decided to go they had a Dj and I saw a poster saying they have live guitar music every Wednesday. It was little pricey but you are paying for the view so it is expected. Staff are very nice and try very hard especially our waiter Soe.

yes, it’s a terrific place and the view over the sea is amazing. The staff is very friendly and try to make the stay as comfortable as possible. However, the waiting time for food is dependent on the number of guests and can take more than one hour, particular in our case. Value for money could be better

Super scenic spot to enjoy fresh air and relax as I waited between landing from Bangkok to meet up with an old friend elsewhere. I had a fresh local rosella lime honey juice very refreshing. The head server Baby was very friendly and helpful and let me leave my luggage in a corner and sit to do some work on my laptop. Thank you, I’ll come back to have a meal soon with friends!

Came here for view and coffee. The view is wonderful and nice interiors for photo. The coffee… it tasted like water! I don’t think this was coffee but it was called so.

Scenic viewpoint. Can see the Ocean, the hills, the airport... We also had the chance of watching planes taking-off. Food is a bit pricey (It's koh samui, expensive as expected 🥴) but tastes good...international standard...Stuffs are super nice...cocoon point to take photos...took 100 baht per person from Chaweng by a tuktuk...

The view alone is worth it!! I really enjoyed taken the time to drive up here! A squarish bamboo designed building with large open windows on three sides gives you a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean and the Island below. It also allowed the cool wind to pass through the building. It was very comfortable. Low jazz music was playing in the background. I really enjoyed coming here. We are just ordering some drinks and enjoying the view!
