Delicious sushi in Samui! Lovely team here, super friendly, very entertaining. Really good quality sushi at a reasonable price. Even came out with a whole fresh imported salmon to show us how fresh it was before they took it back to slice and serve it!

Such a hidden gem on the island! Didn’t expect much, but place looks is kinda authentic but not fully Japanese style. When I came the blues plays and it was curious) I ordered a set and got a complimentary rolls from the chief. Such a nice thing which turns my mood on, and an amazing glass for soda did great job. The team played Japanese music for me and I enjoyed my lunch 100%. Thank you very much. Highly recommend to visit if you like delicious Japan food and really nice service.

Best Japanese we’ve had in Thailand! We went all in Benzo! Great assortment of Japanese food and the large sashimi plate was honestly the best we’ve had in a very long time. Service was excellent, the vibe was perfect and their cocktails where superb- as was the sake. They even gave us a lift home! If we lived here, we would go every other week. Awesome experience and a must visit for anyone that loves Japanese cuisine.

Small list of Sushi and Sashimi. Actually the variety is not so much, yet the quality of each dish we ate here was very delicious. The staff are very friendly and even though was very busy when we reached they made good service. They have an upbeat attitude, we enjoyed the music, the up tempo and the overall atmosphere was great. The best part was that you can also order from the Thai restaurant next door so we could enjoy a good variety of food.

A hidden gem on the island for sure !!! Good quality of the products; the fish literally melts in your mouth. The place itself looks very sweet and clean. Best for last- such an amazing service, people that give you service from their heart! Even got a little something from the chef as a starter and it definitely uplifts the mood. Worth a visit.

I ordered a couple salmon rolls, when they brought it out he used a torch to crisp it! Food was incredible. Several different sauces placed beautifully on the plate. Then for dessert I had their famous cheesecake. It did not disappoint. Very good. Moist and full of flavor w the slightest bit of chocolate topping. Highly recommend benzos sushi. Owner was very polite and kind, he saw that I was waiting for a taxi in the rain and drove me to my next location and refused any sort of payment. Great experience all around!

We were craving for fresh Sushi and so we went to Benzo due the good reviews. And we were not disappointed, we had an exceptional experience. We were greeted by the owner, had a nice chat with him and he even gave us some toys for our little daughter to play. The following food was simply excellent. During our dinner it started raining and when we had finished the guys asked us what hotel we live and how we get back. I told them and said I was planning on ordering a taxi back to the hotel. But instead one of the guys offered us a free ride back to our hotel and we had a fun time talking during the drive. To sum it up: The friendliest owner and team you can imagine plus the highest quality Sushi for a reasonable price. Huge recommendation. Big thank you to Ben and team!

We visited last night for my birthday meal. It was absolutely fantastic! The sushi was absolutely delicious and the owner gave us a free starter & dessert as it was my birthday! Such a cool vibe and a lovely man who played happy birthday on guitar for me. Could not recommend this place more. Our first time eating sushi since being backpacking and it was perfect!

Top quality sushi and superb value. This compact and friendly bar didn't disappoint. We are a huge set each for around 1000ThB per head including drinks. As other reviewers have mentioned the music, get had Reggaeton playing (😞)

Absolutely loved this place! The owners & manager of the restaurant were very sweet enough to let us in the restaurant even after closing hours. Talking about the food - Brilliant! Ben (the chef) did a great job. Good place to eat vegan/vegetarian also. The managers (BuBu) hospitality was super duper. He was accommodating, friendly and more importantly not in a hurry to wrap up. Overall, great place to enjoy good food, live music and vibes;

I would call myself an experienced sushi eater and this is literally the best sushi in Thailand. Great staff, very kind and serviceable. And the food is very sophisticated with an excellent presentation. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Really good tuna sashimi although it’s a bit pricey. They also provide cream cheese in the rolls which is a must for me when it comes to rolls. Definitely just as good as the one in nathon and might actually be even better.

We went to benzos on a whim after seeing it well rated for a sushi restaurants on Ko Samui, and we were so happy we did. The vibe in there is so great, great music and beautiful scenery. The staff were so friendly and every plate we ordered was amazing, they even added complimentary samples of other dishes to ours. The presentation was gorgeous. We decided to come back one more time on our way out of town and again, experience was amazing and they even had a driver takes us home. Highly recommend!

What an amazing Evening! We found this well rated and very nice restaurant and wanted to try it out. We had a wonderful evening. The sushi, the kimchi, the beverages and the homemade cheesecake were outstanding in taste, freshness and quality. This is such an amazing place. A hidden gem found away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng. This place has lovely staff and GREAT sushi! We loved the food here. The atmosphere was also very nice.

Absolutely wonderful sushi and Japanese cuisine! A friend recommended Benzo to us and they were 100% correct — this is by FAR the best Japanese restaurant in Koh Samui. Do NOT even consider any other Japanese restaurant on the island! The sushi is excellent, fresh and delicious. The service and quaint authentic Japanese atmosphere are FANTASTIC. It felt like we were dining back in Kyoto or Tokyo! The chef was so kind as to offer a selection of specialty sushi dishes on-the-house. Do NOT consider going to the various chain sushi restaurants in Central Festival — Benzo is only a few minutes drive away and 100% well worth it! 素晴らしい !!

Really great Japanese food, Ben (owner & chef) was gracious and kind. We had various dishes with many different ingredients and they were all very delicious. Definitely try the cheesecake! Recommend a visit, it is a great place to be.
