Been here for 8 days with family & friends. We enjoyed the perfect service, many thanks to Volker who supported us with all our questions within minutes! It is a very quiet place on this sometimes crowded island 🙂. As others already mentioned, a car or scooter is useful if you would like to get around a little bit! The villas were clean and good equipped and breakfast was great, we got everything we need every day! Thank you for everything- we hade a great time!!!

Very quiet at this time of year, weather good but chance of thunder storms only had one when we arrived like a hot shower! Been great ever since. Lovely villas with their own pools.beach is great and quiet. Wi-Fi good even on the beach. We got a breakfast Inc. deal so it's delivered to room every morning and prepared. So far it's been excellent.

A bit of the tourist area so it's quite but a short taxi journey and you can have what you want/need private beach &pool with your villa layed back vibe

We rented the studio apartment which was very nice. I found the bed hard so they added a soft mattress topper which helped. The apartment and it’s balcony face the road which is surprisingly busy. The balcony does have a beautiful view of the sunset over the bay. At times we could smell a bad odour while sitting outside. We were very fortunate to have access to the pool belonging to the villa behind us which was really wonderful. The beach is not very long but is beautiful and we swam in the ocean every day. Do bring water shoes for the odd rock. The resort is away from the busy areas but scooters can be rented at the resort for 250 bhat/ day. We tried the Wood house restaurant down the road - food was mediocre at best, would not return. The villas at Idyllic looked beautiful and would be a great place for a family reunion!

Not A place I would recommend to anyone, unless I wished for them to have a miserable stay. The staff are very controlling about who enters the area through the gate very difficult to be able to get your vehicle inside. Management apparently is from Germany, very rude with her personality and very controlling about where you're allowed to travel within the resort. Basically you're confined only to a villa that you might rent. Cameras are everywhere and the staff take great pride in monitoring them, which will certainly result in a member of the management paying a guest a rather rude visit, as she proceeds to explain all the rules & regulations that are continuously being enforced, even though there's only a few guest upon the property; no wonder why? It was clear the lady in charge prefers it to be that way... Deserted! My group will certainly not be returning to this location. Place was very dated and far from well maintained. Ran down would be a more accurate description.

A very nice place with a private beach but located 15 min drive from the nearest tourist area so you always need a car They provide a kitchen and you can cook but most people aren't going on a vacation for the cooking ability. You can order breakfast from the hotel but this is not recommended(even by the hotel staff). There are many mosquitoes so you will need to be prepared Three maintenance issues: There were some air-conditioning issues that they couldn't solve Stream in the shower is Ridiculously poor It is hard to close the doors sometimes Service issue: In two nights, they released all the staff and there was no one to talk to. I must say that they are very pleasant and supporting but have to invest bit in there business

We wanted somewhere quiet, with a private pool and a beach,after researching i decided to go with Idyllic, even tho it was far from any restaurant or grocery shop, it was very convenient to use the Apps, Grabb and Foodpanda, to buy food and groceries from most places in the Bophut area...Grabb was very useful for transport too...if we decided to go out. The villa we took was a 3br, 2 on one side and one attached to a kitchen and living room, separated by a nice pool and garden, it was very convenient for us and our 2 kids, they spent the day playing in the pool ,garden and the beach. Kitchen is well fitted with all what you ever need, plates and utensils to high end cooking appliances, dishwasher too. Staff were kind to accommodate all our requests and answer all our questions, since day 1 when we booked till we left. We enjoyed too much that we had to extend our stay! Will definitely come back when we go again to Samui.

The villas here were nice and big, suitable for big families or groups travelling together to have their own space and privacy. The location is about 20mins from Chaweng where most of the action is so it’s abit of a double edged sword in the sense that you are away from the hustle and bustle but also means that you’ll have to travel for everything. The only other downside was that the beds were super hard with only one pillow provided (at least for my room/bed) and none of the wall outlets/sockets next to my bed worked.

Number one service out there....but you pay for it. If you set clear expectations and inclusions ahead of time, this is a fantastic place to stay. However, you will have to travel and pay to get pretty much anywhere. And the main office shuts down early, so you will be left to your own devices if you want to leave the villa. The location is not walking friendly. The beach itself has no shade, so unfortunately, on those hot Thai days, you just can not sit on the beach at all. That being said, you have peace and quiet and outstanding service when they are there. Take the Thai cooking classes....definitely worth it! I do feel like having something as simple as including the ice cream in the rates for guests instead of marking every scoop on the bill would be a nice touch to balance the negatives.

I also appreciated the range of amenities available at the villa. The swimming pool was a perfect spot to cool off and enjoy the sun. Overall, my experience at the Idyllic Resort was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of top-notch service, beautiful accommodations, and idyllic surroundings made it a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

A little slice of heaven hidden at a secluded beach. The hosts were incredibly friendly and the Villa Rose gave us all the privacy we needed with a party of 7. A bit further from the crowds and very relaxed.
